NEWS BRIEF: "Iraq 'first battle of a wider US war' ", Richard Norton-Taylor, Tuesday May 20, 2003, The Guardian Online
"The invasion of Iraq was a 'single campaign in a much larger war' against the Bush administration's 'axis of evil', the conference was told. 'Iraq was not a war, Iraq was a battle,' said John Pike, director of globalsecurity.org, an American defence policy research group."
From the beginning, Cutting Edge has stated that the Iraq war was simply planned to be a "trigger" war that would greatly expand outward, probably ultimately causing the World War III that is planned to produce Antichrist. We mentioned this fact in earlier articles:

We appreciate the Federal Government -- especially a Pentagon "Think Tank" -- for confirming our original analysis! So many people wanted to believe the government's earlier rhetoric which stated that our purpose was to ensure Saddam Hussein could not unleash those mythical Weapons of Mass Destruction, and get it over quickly so our boys could come home! This prayer was on the lips of many a man in our church in late March as the war was getting underway, and I believe was the prominent belief of the great majority of Americans.
However, Cutting Edge has been paying attention to the somber warning words of U.S. Deputy Defense Secretary, Paul Wolfowitz, of September 13, 2001, uttered just 48 hours after the 9/11 attacks. Listen:

"WASHINGTON -- "In the most explicit descriptions yet of the Bush
administration's intentions, Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz said Thursday
the retaliation would be continued until the roots of terrorism are destroyed.
'These people try to hide. They won't be able to hide forever ... They think
their harbors are safe, but they won't be safe forever ... it's not simply a
matter of capturing people and holding them accountable, but removing the sanctuaries,
removing the support systems, ending states who sponsor terrorism." [Page

Now, fully 20 months later, these terrifying words are finding concrete expression in the actual working-out of President Bush's "Pre-emptive Strike" doctrine. Cutting Edge paid attention in 2001 and had the courage to believe the full impact of this new foreign policy directive -- the U.S. was going to strike anyone we deemed to be hiding or supporting terrorism, setting ourselves up to be Judge, Jury, and Executioner. We have carefully watched events since then, and saw a systematic rolling out of further clarifications of this new doctrine, and the war that would back it up.
Now, let us return to our feature article for more information.
"[John Pike] said now that Saddam was gone, Syria had been 'elevated' up the axis of evil, with Iran also in the firing line - with Israel's support - due to its nuclear programme. North Korea and Libya were also in Washington's frame ... The Bush administration's doctrine of pre-emptive strikes, he said, was not simply posturing. It was an 'operational policy', he warned." [Guardian, Ibid.]
These countries are the very ones we have been warning for a long time who are "next" on the Administration hit list. Later in this article, Pike stated the reason America could so arrogantly believe they could do whatever we wanted to do with the nations in the world. Listen:
"The US was already a generation ahead of everybody else as far as conventional weapons systems were concerned. It would soon be a further generation ahead, "unbeatable on the conventional battlefield". The present 'unipolar' world - strongly approved by Tony Blair - was defined by what he called 'American predisposition to unilateral military interventions'." [Ibid.]
Let me get this straight: because U.S. officials believe our armed forces are absolutely unbeatable on the conventional battlefield, the Bush Administration is going to pursue a policy of Pre-emptive military strikes against whomever we desire. However, some of our retired military leaders are not so sure. Listen to Col. Byron Weeks, MD, USAF, MC, Retired Reserve:
"So-called Imperial America very probably does not have the means to back up it´s various attempts to control the world. We are weaker now than we have ever been. Bush´s bravado is empty, and even if we do have the Tesla howitzer, so do Russia and China, and Russia has had scalar EM weapons longer--long enough to have tried and tested various forms of them many times. But although we evidently do have some HAARP powered weapons, physicist LTC Thomas Beardon says we don´t have much, if any, and our scalar weaponry is not yet ready to deploy effectively ...."
"If attacked, our ground forces will be as vulnerable as sitting ducks, out on the hot sandy desert with no place to hide. America´s cities and outmoded ABM systems will not protect us. If we attack Iraq, which now seems inevitable, we can expect to be attacked on all sides, with nuclear bombs, neutron bombs, EMPs, and the longitudinal electromagnetic interferometer waves that will come down upon us as fire from heaven. America will burn ..." [Newsletter, October 5, 2002]
Did you catch the really relevant fear expressed by Col. Weeks?
"America will burn"!
Col. Byron Weeks does not believe we are unstoppable on the battlefield! His comments are echoed by yet another retired Air Force officer, Lt. Col. Beardon.
"We have ground-based radars, endoatmospheric interceptors, exoatmospheric interceptors, airborne sensors, space-based sensors, chemically propelled interceptors, electromagnetic railguns, particle beam weapons, high energy lasers, all tied together by a massive command and control systems ... Massive systems. Electromagnetic marvels. Nuclear-pumped lasers of staggering power. Perhaps even x-ray and gamma ray lasers. Directed energy RF weapons. Stupendous railguns. Sensors everywhere. Giant webs of communications. Banks of computers and control systems.
"And its totally vulnerable to scalar EM interferometer weapons. Giant scalar EM 'radars' can simply sweep through all that like a scythe through standing hay." ["Fer De Lance", Ibid. , p. 331]

Another well-respected expert on scalar weaponry -- who wishes to remain anonymous -- echoed these sentiments, above, but in a flowery and memorable manner. Listen"
"America is going to war (in Middle East) in order to be wiped out."!
We do NOT possess the most formidable military force in the world. Bush is literally going to war with the implicit permission of the Russian and Chinese governments, both of whom possess scalar weaponry. I stated earlier that the U.S. would win the war against Iraq, because Isaiah 13 states we would win . However, once we moved against Iran, I believe we will be stopped cold because of the Ezekiel 38-39 prophecy of the Russian-led invasion of Israel. Right now, Iran has the anti-West, anti-Israel government that would gladly march with Russia against Israel; however, if we were to invade and overthrow the current Iranian government, we would install a pro-West, pro-Israel government. The U.S. will be stopped by prophecy.
Likewise, I believe God has reserved the destruction of Damascus, Syria (Isaiah 17:1) for Israel because He has reserved for this little country this destruction (Zechariah 12:6). Therefore, the U.S. may very well be stopped from attacking Syria because God is planning to turn Israel into the burning torch that will consume ALL the nations roundabout her!
When we do attack North Korea to force this regime change, we will trigger that "hair-raising nuclear confrontation that will threaten mankind's very existence". How this will exactly play out is unclear, although I believe a U.S. nuclear response to a North Korean conventional invasion seems most likely. Once you see the fight with North Korea developing, you know the appearance of Antichrist is close, for the New World Order book, "The Armageddon Script" which speaks of this part of the plan says this development will be "toward the end of the period".
Terrorism In Our Cities
Finally, we have also been saying for the past 12 years or so that the Iraq attack will simply trigger the most important domestic terror phase: terrorism in our cities. In late June, 2001, just a few weeks before the horror of the 9/11 attacks, we post NEWS1509 in which we warned that Osama bin Laden has just merged forces with Islamic terrorists worldwide and may be about to attack U.S. targets abroad and domestically. We stated, "Terror is clearly planned as the final stage of the New World Order."
The Iraq "battle" will be seen as the catalyst event that will ultimately spawn the planned terror in this country. Just this past week, a Defense Industry war game demonstrated that this type of "asymmetrical" attack is the weapon of choice to an enemy facing the "overwhelming military power of the United States. "Frank Tiboni reports in DefenseNews (subscription required) this week that a wargame conducted at the Army War College last month has caused consternation a number of key military and civilian leaders in Washington. Specifically, the exercise showed that America's strategy of pre-emptive defense might lead to pre-emptive strikes by terrorists and rogue nations around the world, possibly with weapons of mass destruction. Asymmetric warfare -- striking at U.S. weak points with unconventional tactics -- will also become the norm by which our enemies fight us. Conventional U.S military forces are so vastly superior to those of any potential adversaries that future foes will likely attack with conventional arms or weapons of mass destruction — either aimed at American troops in theater or citizens at home — at the outset of a conflict to blunt a U.S. assault, said military officials."
Only in the legendary land called "Oz" could such a logical, foreseeable result be considered 'stunning'! Why, this "asymmetrical" type of attack is so logical it defies the belief that our phalanxes of military and civilian officials and their many advisers, could not have seen this to be the natural outcome of our new "Pre-emptive Strike" policy. Indeed, this logical outcome was so well foreseen it was actually planned at least as far back as the late 1970's. Remember the basic plan, created in 1917:
".. the secret societies were planning as far back as 1917 to invent an artificial threat ... in order to bring humanity together in a one-world government, which they call the New World Order." ["Behold A Pale Horse", by Bill Cooper, p. 27]
Thus, the Iraq "battle" is likely the trigger for both expanded wars and terrorism in our cities.
We appreciate John Pike for his candor, for he has validated what Cutting Edge has been saying for the past 12 years and certainly, since mid-March of this year! The End of the Age suddenly seems a whole lot closer.
Are you spiritually ready? Is your family? Are you adequately protecting your loved ones?
