During the 2008 presidential campaign of Mitt Romney -- a high-ranking Mormon -- I heard with disbelieving ears Evangelical leader, Bob Jones III, President of "conservative" Bob Jones University, publicly endorse Romney.

Even though Romney did not win the nomination, I felt in my bones that he would be back in 2012; indeed, he is running for the Republican nomination. Does that mean that we are going to see prominent Evangelical christian leaders publicly supporting Romney? I believed in my heart this was going to be the case.

Therefore, I was not too surprised to see Evangelical leaders on the podium with Glenn Beck during the "Destiny America Rally" in late August, 2010. A monstrous campaign in about to get underway to convince Evangelicals to support Mormons for President. Since most Christian Evangelicals know virtually nothing of the Mormon doctrine and beliefs, this propaganda campaign might work!

The most significant religious propaganda campaign of the modern era is well underway, as this heartbreaking story reveals.

NEWS BRIEF: "Evangelicals Courting The Mormons? NAE Board Convenes In Salt Lake City to Find 'Common Ground' With LDS", by Take A Stand Ministries, Eric Barger, March, 2011

"Watchful Christians won't be shocked by the melding of religious thought that is currently underway ... A recent development in the unsettling trend of dumbing down Evangelicals will take place this week. The National Association of Evangelicals is about to align with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. "

The Apostle Paul foretold that Antichrist could not arise until, and unless, the true Church of Jesus Christ slid into the Abyss of Apostasy. Listen:

"BUT RELATIVE to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) and our gathering together to meet Him, we beg you, brethren, Not to allow your minds to be quickly unsettled or disturbed or kept excited or alarmed, whether it be by some pretended revelation of the Spirit or by word or by letter alleged to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has already arrived and is here."

In other words, the Apostle Paul was fighting against False Prophets of his day who were teaching that the prophetic "Day of the Lord" had already arrived and that the people were already living in the Great Tribulation Period. Needless to say, genuine Christian believers were very upset to think they had missed the signs of the Lord's imminent return. Paul then told them of the one sign they were to be looking for, an infallible sign which would tell them when the "Day of the Lord"

But, first, let us examine what is meant by the "Day of the Lord"; the pertinent verse is in Joel 3:

Day of the Lord -- this is the key term to understanding our discussion, so let us see how various scholars define it.

"The idea is a common Old Testament one. It denotes the consummation of the kingdom of God and the absolute cessation of all attacks upon it (Isa 2:12; Isa 13:6, 9; Isa 34:8; Ezek 13:5; Ezek 30:3; Joel 1:15; Joel 2:11; Am 5:18; Zeph 1:14; Zec 14:1) It is a "day of visitation" (Isa 10:3), a day "of the wrath of Yahweh" (Ezek 7:19), a "great day of Yahweh" (Zeph 1:14). The entire conception in the Old Testament is dark and foreboding."—International Standard Bible Encyclopedia

Let us examine one prophetic passage, Zephaniah 1:14: "The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly..." [Zeph 1:14]

The word, "day" is Strong's Number 3117, which has a variety of meanings, including: continually, a division of time, time, period (general). In Joel 13:6 and 13:9, in these "Day of the Lord" prophecies, the word, "Day" is Strong's 3117. Therefore, a "Day" of the Lord may be a period of time, over which God stands in judgment with nation upon nation upon nation, each following in its "turn".

Is there any verse that gives this connotation? Yes!

" For the day of the Lord is near upon all the nations ["day" is Strong's 3117] ... so shall all the nations drink continually, in turn, of My wrath " - Obadiah 15, 16 - Parallel Bible, KJV/Parallel Bible Commentary]

Most Bible scholars will agree that the Day of the Lord refers to the general period of time covering the 7-year Tribulation Period; however, we wonder if the Day of the Lord might also include the devastating war that will produce Antichrist, the "final birth sorrows war" of Matthew 24, what is commonly called "World War III". Certainly, this war will begin God's judgments upon the earth, judgments so severe they will set the stage for Antichrist to finally appear.

In the religious arena, Jesus Himself warned that false prophets would arise and deceive many leading up to - and including - the kingdom of Antichrist, which is encompassed by the "Day of the Lord".

* "Be careful that no one misleads you deceiving you and leading you into error". (Matthew 24:4; Parallel Bible, KJV/Parallel Bible Commentary]

* "... many false prophets will rise up and deceive and lead many into error." (Matthew 24:11; Ibid.)

* "For false Christs and false prophets will arise ... so as to deceive and lead astray, if possible, even the elect (God's chosen ones)." (Matthew 24:24; Ibid.)

Three times in His prophetic discourse of Matthew 24, Jesus warns His Elect to be on a very special lookout for unparalleled spiritual deception. In Luke 21, which is a parallel prophetic passage to Matthew 24, Jesus says:

"Keep awake then and watch at all times, be discreet, attentive, and ready, praying ..." (Luke 21:36a; Parallel Bible, KJV/Parallel Bible Commentary]

Our Lord warned us that, at the time of the end, we are to:

* Keep awake

* Watch at all times

* Be discreet

* Be attentive

* Be ready

* Be praying!

Unfortunately, too many Evangelistic leaders -- and their followers -- are not heeding this Lord's command and are falling into the "ditch" of deception and are carrying untold numbers of followers with them. This particular deception is very nasty, as genuine Christians are being told that Mormonism is a simply a different brand of Christianity.

If this were true, then we should find common ground with Mormonism. But, since Mormonism is based upon Witchcraft and Luciferianism, then Christians are forbidden from having anything to do with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS)!

DVD

Let us now continue to examine the prophecy of the Apostle Paul concerning one of the key signs for which to look at the End of the Age.

" Let no one deceive or beguile you in any way, for that day will not come except the apostasy comes first, unless the predicted great falling away of those who have professed to be Christians has come, and the man of lawlessness (sin) is revealed, who is the son of doom, of perdition, Who opposes and exalts himself so proudly and insolently against and over all that is called God or that is worshiped, even to his actually taking his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming that he himself is God."

This "son of perdition" is Antichrist. Therefore, this passage of Scripture is somberly warning us that Antichrist cannot appear until, and unless, the leaders of the genuine Christian Church open the door for him by leading the Christians into a "great falling away", what is commonly called the "Apostasy.". What greater Apostasy. is possible than convincing genuine Christians that they can unite with -- find common ground -- with a system rooted in Luciferianism?

Let us now return to our featured news story.

"... as if it could not have possibly gotten worse, the NAE, which used to stand for actually being 'evangelical', are about to condone a 'different Jesus' and then claim that Mormons and Christians all worship the same Savior. Though they will never admit it in so blatant of terms, their March, 2011, meeting in Salt Lake City signals that this is precisely the case."

The official declaration from the head of the NAE is quite revealing:

"We hope this time of dialogue with LDS leaders will deepen our understanding of the Mormon faith and contribute to the ongoing work of evangelicals in Utah', said Leith Anderson, NAE President. 'For the sake of Christ and his kingdom, we seek to represent biblical evangelicalism to those who wouldn't hear or know. We also look for common ground on issues where we can work together'."

What kind of nonsense is this? What kind of "common ground" can be possible when Mormonism differs from Christianity to the degree that Hell differs from Heaven? Mormonism is truly that different from genuine Christianity.

Consider the huge, insurmountable, differences in these three key areas:

1) Who is God?

The Mormon god is a flesh-and-blood man who has lived many lifetimes on other planets and finally achieved Mormon godhood. As a reward, this Mormon god-man was given planet Earth to populate with human souls by having celestial sex with his many wives.

This Mormon god came to Earth at the right moment in time to have sex with the Virgin Mary so Jesus could be conceived. This means that the Mormon god committed lewd adultery with a devout virgin who was espoused to a devout Joseph!

The real Biblical God is a spirit Who has existed always from eternity past. He never had to "achieve" godhood, because He was always God. The genuine God would never commit any sin at any time with anyone. He certainly would not cause a virgin to sin, and would never have betrayed / defrauded Joseph.

How can genuine Christians find "common ground" with a religion which teaches what Mormonism teaches?

2) Who is Jesus?

The Mormon Jesus is a flesh-and-blood man conceived when his flesh-and-blood father impregnated Mary. Jesus is also a brother to Lucifer! This "Jesus" is not eternally pre-existent, nor is he all powerful.

The Biblical Jesus is God -- the Second Person of the Godhead -- and is pre-existent. Jesus created the world and everything in it, and He is Omnipotent. He is also eternally pre-existent.

How can genuine Christians find "common ground" with a religion which teaches what Mormonism teaches?

3) The Family

The Mormon husband is consumed with the obsession of achieving godhood in this life. The Mormon wife is a nothing compared to the husband. In fact, when a Mormon husband is resurrected on the day of the First Resurrection, the Mormon god will bring him back to life by calling him by his secret name and by pulling him through the veil.

The husband, then, has a choice to make. Does he pull his wife through the veil or does he leave her in the grave? This belief produces much anxiety and anger in a Mormon marriage. As Bill Schnoebelen reveals in his new DVD, "Mormonism's Temple of Doom: 2012 Election Alert", Mormon husband do threaten to not pull his wife out of the grave and through the veil!

The Christian husband is commanded to "love his wife as Jesus loved the Church and gave Himself for her" (Ephesians 5:25). This incredibly high standard commands the genuine Christian husband to love his wife with a love almost supernatural. He is not to treat his wife with arrogance or with threats, but with incredible love and tenderness!

The Christian wife is not inferior to her husband spiritually (1 Peter 3:7) , even though she is commanded to obey him.

Finally, both husband and wife are commanded to love Jesus more than they love each other (Matthew 10:37-38). Therefore, the Christian marriage should be one of harmony, enveloped in Jesus' supernatural love.

How can genuine Christians find "common ground" with a religion which teaches what Mormonism teaches?

An Exercise In Ecumenism!

"These phony Evangelical leaders are intent on fishing around for commonalities while appearing to be clueless - or willfully ignorant - about the foundational abyss that separates Mormonism from true biblical faith. This is ecumenism run amuck and they've placed the tag of 'Evangelical' on it!"

Ecumenism is the touted global force which will produce the global religion of Antichrist and his false prophet -- New Age adherents love the concept of Ecumenism. Listen to one New Age author tell his followers what must occur between different religions in the New Age is going become reality.

"God is breaking down the old walls that separate and isolate us. We are being enabled to listen and learn and draw strength from each other in ways that have not been possible for a very long time. RENOVARÉ seeks to follow this powerful movement of the Spirit of God by bringing together the best spiritual treasures of several great Christian streams of faith and witness."

Isn't this what the Evangelical head of the Evangelical Association saying? Let us go back to his words:

"We hope this time of dialogue with LDS leaders will deepen our understanding of the Mormon faith ... We also look for common ground on issues where we can work together'."

Doesn't this statement sound like the New Age ideal of "breaking down the walls" which separate various religions? Therefore, Leith Anderson, NAE President, is merely following the script laid out almost a decade ago by the New Age Movement!

Back to our featured article:

"the March NAE panel will be moderated by Greg Johnson, president of Standing Together. Johnson is best known as the road show partner of Robert Millet, LDS Manager of Outreach and Interfaith Relations for Church Public Affairs and emeritus Dean of Religious Education at Brigham Young University. Together, Johnson (now an NAE board member) and Millet have traveled extensively endorsing the notion that LDS followers and Evangelical Christians are just one big happy family who worship the same god/God and who just need to be enlightened concerning each other."

Returning to our featured article again, we discover who some of the phony Evangelical leaders are:

"Panelists include Craig Blomberg, professor of the New Testament at Denver Seminary; Craig Hazen, professor of Comparative Religion at Biola University; Richard Mouw, president of Fuller Theological Seminary; and David Neff, editor-in-chief of Christianity Today - each of whom endorsed Millet's book, A Different Jesus?: The Christ of the Latter Day Saints, which is built around the idea that Mormons are actually Christians. If you've been watching Glenn Beck, then you've undoubtedly heard the same line."

"It can be easily documented that Blomberg, Hazen, Mouw, Johnson, and the rest are going to Salt Lake City with the perception that both Mormons and Christians worship the same God and are referring to the same Jesus."

Now, Eric Barger wraps this entire sorry ecumenical mess up for us:

"I understand both the doctrines and practices of Mormonism and the failings of modern Evangelicals to adhere to sound biblical beliefs. Mormonism is still a cult, no matter who endorses them, and the NAE have ceased to be "evangelical" and no longer speak for me. I realize it sounds coarse, but since the NAE continues to forsake the Bible and betray those of us who actually believe the Scriptures, they should be renamed 'The National Association of Ecumenicals'."

We concur.

Furthermore, since the New Age Movement has made it quite clear that their New Age Christ cannot arise until the religions of the world are united under the banner of Ecumenism, this joining the occult-based Mormon religion and genuine Christianity means that the appearance of Antichrist is closer than many have thought.

This new alliance between Mormons and phony Evangelical leaders will most likely be the force behind the propaganda push to convince Christians they can support Mormonism, even though this religion is exactly what Bill Schnoebelen reveals in his new DVD, "Mormonism's Temple of Doom: 2012 Election Alert"-- "a religion created by witches for witches".

Mormonism is far more than a "cult", as Eric Barger calls it. Mormonism is Luciferian Witchcraft, based upon powerful demonic forces. The "proof on the ground" are the many Satanic symbols adorning the outside of the Mormon Temple in Salt Lake City, as we graphically show in "Mormonism's Temple of Doom".

Mormonism is truly of Belial, one of the chief demons of Hell. Therefore, the following verses absolutely forbid a genuine Christian from ever supporting a Mormon for any office of the land.

"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers - do not make mismated alliances with them or come under a different yoke with them, inconsistent with your faith. For what partnership have right living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can light have fellowship with darkness? What harmony can there be between Christ and Belial [the devil]? Or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? What agreement can there be between a temple of God and idols?" (1 Corinthians 6:14-16a; Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary).

Christians are commanded to have nothing to do with such rank unbelievers, even a small gesture:

"If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds." (2 John 1:10-12)

Isn't it amazing that these false Evangelical leaders will be calling this type of judgment down upon their heads? Do not listen to them, nor follow them, or else you will receive the same kind of Godly judgment.

Christians cannot support a Mormon for any office. Therefore, resist the call of Evangelical leaders who try to convince you otherwise. Their efforts to sway you are prime examples of the unparalleled End of the Age deception of which Jesus warned in Matthew 24 (quoted above).

Truly, with this kind of spiritual deception on the loose today, the time of Antichrist's appearance is close at hand. These Evangelical leaders are opening the door to Antichrist to walk through! Are you spiritually ready? Is your family? Are you adequately protecting your loved ones? This is the reason for this ministry, to enable you to first understand the peril facing you, and then help you develop strategies to warn and protect your loved ones. Once you have been thoroughly trained, you can also use your knowledge as a means to open the door of discussion with an unsaved person. I have been able to use it many times, and have seen people come to Jesus Christ as a result. These perilous times are also a time when we can reach many souls for Jesus Christ, making an eternal difference.

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, but have been very lukewarm in your spiritual walk with Him, you need to immediately ask Him for forgiveness and for renewal. He will instantly forgive you, and fill your heart with the joy of the Holy Spirit. Then, you need to begin a daily walk of prayer and personal Bible Study.

If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as Savior, but have come to realize His reality and the approaching End of the Age, and want to accept His FREE Gift of Eternal Life, you can also do so now, in the privacy of your home. Once you accept Him as Savior, you are spiritually Born Again, and are as assured of Heaven as if you were already there. Then, you can rest assured that the Kingdom of Antichrist will not touch you spiritually.

If you would like to become Born Again, turn to our Salvation Page now.

We hope you have been blessed by this ministry, which seeks to educate and warn people, so that they can see the coming New World Order -- Kingdom of Antichrist -- in their daily news.

Finally, we would love to hear from you.
