TITLE: "TOLERANCE" : CHRISTIAN VIRTUE OR WORLDLY FAILURE?

Subtitle: It May Surprise You To Learn That The Coming Kingdom Of Antichrist Will Demand Tolerance!!!!

The dictionary definition of TOLERANCE is (in part) as follows: "....n. 1. Recognition of and respect for the opinions, practices, or behavior of others. 2. a. The amount of variation from a standard that is allowed......."

The first definition is usually applied where strong differences of opinion exist and especially where beliefs and practices of a religious or moral nature are involved. Whereas the usual understanding of definition number two is that it refers to allowable deviations from the ideal--such as mechanical "tolerance" on a machined part, or length, width, etc., of some critical application regardless of its exact nature or composition. But as we hope to illustrate, the secondary definition has an application to religious beliefs and practices as well--e.g., the amount of deviation from long-established doctrines that will be allowed before the faithful actively resist the changes.

So what does it really mean when we are exhorted to tolerate beliefs--especially those of a religious nature--with which we disagree?

The answer is not quite as simple as it may sound, because there are in fact varying degrees of tolerance. If we refrain from killing those who blaspheme our God or hold beliefs totally contrary to those we count as being precious, we will be exercising tolerance! The Christian Crusaders were highly intolerant of the Moslems and vice versa. The Roman Catholic Church was equally intolerant of the French Huguenots and many other groups they considered to be heretics. World history is strewn with accounts of man's inhumanity to man, with innumerable wars being fought and rivers of blood shed as a direct result of religious intolerance. At this very hour Moslems are seeking martyrdom by blowing themselves up in an effort to kill their Jewish enemies. Hindus in India are killing Christians. Sectarian strife continues unabated as it has during the whole of human history and most of the world cannot see any end in sight. But make no mistake about it--this tragic and seemingly never-ending demonstration of man's depravity is being played out according to the overall plan of Satan. His long-range goal has always been to rule the world in the place of Jehovah God. That is what the Greek prefix anti means in the term antichrist. "In the place of " Christ--not just "opposed to" Christ, as the term means in English. The devil covets that which rightfully belongs to God and does not merely wish to have equal status, but to displace Him entirely. Wanting that which belongs to another and excluding them from having it is what the commandment "Thou shalt not covet" is all about.

But some of you are probably asking, "What does sectarian wars and bloodshed have to do with Satan's plan to rule planet earth?" The best way I know to answer is to relate a crazy joke I heard while in the military--A man saw his next-door neighbor hitting himself in the head with a hammer. When he ran over to ask why he was doing it, the reply was: "Because it feels so good when I stop!" The world at large is sick and tired of the senseless carnage and will eagerly accept any (seemingly) reasonable chance to end it. Plus, it seems quite probable that World War III will be triggered by Israel and their enemies--and when it is over, the world will be even more eager to adopt whatever measures are deemed necessary to put an end to such insanity. And of course the United Nations organization has plans to implement just such a program, with the central tenet being the establishment of a single "one size fits all" religion! By incorporating the "best" elements of the various religions into a single composite religion, voila! the causes for sectarian strife will be removed and everyone will live happily ever after. Then to make sure things remain peaceful, the nations will be totally disarmed and a single peace-keeping force established--a centralized world army, if you please. Disputes between the governing bodies of  individual nations will be eliminated by disbanding them and placing all people everywhere under the single world government of the United Nations. Neat, huh? If we listen closely, we may be able to hear the devil laughing behind the curtain!

Now let's talk tolerance some more....... Kill people who disagree with our Christian views or blaspheme our Savior? God forbid! Those who have done so in the past were Christians in name only--not genuine followers of Jesus Christ. Many atrocities have been committed in God's Name, but attribution does not make them right--nor can our denunciation of them undo the terrible wrongs done. We can only ask for God's mercy on both the perpetrators and those that lost their lives. But even though these indefensible wrongs are a dark blot upon Christianity, we must never let them cause us to lose sight of the fact that there is a Scriptural point upon which we must stand--even if it appears intolerant to the world. When the Bible clearly states that something is a sin and contrary to God's will, we must speak out against it as a matter of principle. Notice that I said "speak" and not "fight." Bible Christianity does not warrant violence in our defense of the faith, nor anything faintly approaching it. We are to speak the truth in love (Eph.4:15) and not beat someone over the head with it! God does not need our help to accomplish His plan and our sole job is to bear witness to the saving grace of Jesus Christ--leaving retribution to Him. Ancient Israel was used of God to bring judgment upon His (and their) enemies, but you will not find that same activity stated or even implied in the New Testament where Christians are concerned. Ephes. 6:13 says:

"Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."

This is purely a defensive posture, but requires courage when the lions are about to attack. Speaking on the evil of lions devouring Christians is never going to be popular with the lions and if the public views it as being intolerant--so be it! The day is rapidly approaching when to do so is going to be a criminal offense--a "hate crime." May God have mercy on our nation (or any nation) when it classifies the tenets of God's Word as being "hate crimes, but it certainly seems imminent.

Have you ever wondered why "Cutting Edge" is so hard on Freemasonry? Why have we devoted so much time and effort to exposing the errors of the organization? Even though the average Mason is totally unaware of what is going on at the upper levels, the core beliefs of Freemasonry were exposed many years ago and all tie in perfectly with the New World Order of Antichrist! Many still do not recognize it, but religious tolerance is the very heart of their program and gnosticism--the quest for "enlightenment," or knowledge--is their religion. Their principles fit like a hand in a glove with the ecumenical one-world  religion in store for this planet. Only God knows the extent to which Freemasonry and allied fraternal organizations around the globe have infiltrated governments, but their unmistakable influence is clearly seen in the actions taken by those governments.This is especially obvious in the U.S., where their symbols are everywhere in our nation's capital and even on the money in our pockets. Many of our legislators at both the state and national levels are members and usually high-ranking members at that. And as David Bay continues to point out in his articles, the circumstantial evidence for Freemasonry being actively involved in Israel rebuilding "Solomon's Temple" is so plain that one would have to be blind to miss it! The flow of events is already spinning around the tiny nation of Israel and God's plan is steadily taking shape. We expect that any day now the politically correct "thought police" will clamp down on what will likely be labeled as intolerance and/or hate crimes.. Criticism of abortion and the homosexual agenda appear to be two of many prime candidates for jail time--both of which were quite possibly backed by the courts for the very purpose of baiting fundamentalist preachers! They know that we cannot be true to our beliefs and remain silent on such things--so what better way could be devised to silence us, with the majority of the public cheering them on and voting for them in the next election? Only time will tell...........!
