Covers Revelation Chapter 2:21-29. The Church of
Thyatira Part 2: Jesus gives a serious strong
warning to the false teachers who would dare
invade His Church. If they do not repent, they
will be cast into a bed of suffering, literally
hell. He then gives a death threat to the
followers of these false teachers to repent as
well or He will strike them dead because with each
succeeding generation, the yeast gets even more
perverse. You will see how this is
unfortunately happening in the modern Church
today, bringing apostasy and swift destruction.
At the same time, there is a call to sift
between the wheat and the tares, the true and
false Christians, to demonstrate their genuineness
by purging any and all sin and seek a holy walk
with God. A dog will act like a dog and a cat will
act like a cat and a Christian will act like a
Christian. That is, they will walk in holiness
because that's their nature.
To the faithful,
Jesus then gives some wonderful words of
encouragement: 1)Hold on in the midst of such
apostasy because He is in control of all things,
which instills courage to His Church; 2) Because
their Heavenly reward will be great. They will get
to rule and reign with Him in the Millennial
Kingdom; at this point, our study goes into a
fabulous depiction on what the Millennial Kingdom
will be like with several beautiful video
depictions.
I guarantee you that you will cry,
and at the same time, soar with hope.
But just
to make sure you understand the seriousness of
tolerating sin, Jesus then concludes with a final
warning. His Church needs to stop ingesting sin
with the eyes, ears, and heart because either way,
the consequences are deadly and He sees all!
