NEWS BRIEF:  "Magazine chooses new face of Jesus", USA Today Nation, December 13, 1999, Lead Page, http://www.usatoday.com/news/ndsmon03.htm.

A painting of a dark-skinned Jesus, by an artist who used a woman as a model, has been selected by a Catholic magazine as the winner of its contest to update the image of Christ for the new millennium. The painting, Jesus of the People, was selected from nearly 1,700 entries for the cover of a special millennium issue being published this week by the National Catholic Reporter, an independent newsweekly and one of the best-known Catholic publications in the country. ''My goal was to be as inclusive as possible,'' said the artist, Janet McKenzie, from her studio in Island Pond, Vt. ''At first glance, he is a black or African-American Jesus, but looking more deeply you see many people in it.' "

Before even looking at the painting, we should immediately be suspicious of the attitude of this artist who created the painting.  She intended this new Jesus to be "as inclusive as possible".  This word, "inclusive" is the buzz word by which the religions of the world are reorganizing into a single, global religion that will ultimately be led by the False Prophet and which will worship Antichrist.

The true Jesus Christ, on the other hand, was the most separate, divisive individual in the history of the world , and He demanded His followers be the same!  Listen to the Words of the true Jesus Christ.

"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword . For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household." [Matthew 10:34-36]

"And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her , my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."  [Revelation 18:4]

"And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:  And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left." [Matthew 25:32-33]  This is a picture of the Final Judgment, when Jesus Christ separates the saved sheep from the unsaved goats.  The sheep go into Heaven while the goats to Hell.  If Jesus were all-inclusive, He would not be separating people into these two groups at the Final Judgment!

"Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.  Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven" [Luke 6:22-23].  Here, we see Jesus telling His true believers that they are to rejoice when unsaved men will separate themselves from the believers, thinking evil of the believer.  When this happens, Jesus will accord great Heavenly reward for the believer.  This is exactly what is happening today with everyone who is caught up in this "all-inclusive" nonsense.  They think evil of anyone else who holds to the true doctrine of separating oneself from sin and from the person who practices false religion.  Fundamentalists today are being "separated out" from the company of the rest of the world that wants so desperately to be "all-inclusive".

"Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate , saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." [ 2 Cor 6:17-18]  We cannot even be accepted by God the Father as His sons and daughters unless and until we separate ourselves from anything that makes unclean, and that certainly includes people who practice false doctrine. 

Listen to the Apostle John advise early Christians as to how completely they were to separate themselves from people practicing false doctrine.

"If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds." [2 John 1:10-11]  Christians are not to invite people practicing false doctrine into their home, nor are they even to wish them "God speed", for to do so would make the true believer a partaker of the false doctrine! 

Now, that is the ultimate in being separate .  Yet, the entire world seems rushing headlong over the spiritual abyss in a Satanic spirit of being "all-inclusive", of uniting on the basis of what we have in common rather than what separates us. The Liberal religious leaders of today have stated, time and time again, that "doctrine separates and divides".  Thus, they reject sound Biblical doctrine, focussing on feelings and emotions which Satan can counterfeit.

Thus, even before we see this painting, our spiritual warning radar is up and active.  We know with whom we are dealing.

          THE "NEW JESUS CHRIST" -- THE PICTURE OF THE ABOMINATION THAT CAUSETH DESOLATION

"The painting shows a robed and haloed Jesus. Against a pale pink background are a yin-yang symbol, intended to represent perfect balance, and a feather, symbolizing the American Indian spirituality that McKenzie learned about during a stay in New Mexico.  The painting 'is a haunting image of a peasant Jesus - dark, thick-lipped, looking out on us with ineffable dignity, with sadness but with confidence,' wrote Sister Wendy Beckett, the 69-year-old British nun and host of a public television series about art. She selected the winner and three runners-up."

This quote gives us our first example of the occult woven into the painting of the "new Jesus".  The yin-yang symbol is one that is common with practitioners of Eastern Mysticism, practitioners of White Magic,  and followers of Black Magick Witchcraft. Yin-Yang is thought of as a symbol of Perfect Balance, of the promised New Age of Peace under The Christ, as opposites that match.  "Yin represents eternity, dark, feminine, left side of the body ... Yang is its opposite and represents history, light, masculine, right side of the body ... positive, and represented by the Sun.  Yin is female, negative, and represented by the Moon." [Paul E. Desautels in The Gem Kingdom , as quoted by Dr. Cathy Burns, Masonic and Occult Symbols Illustrated, p. 10]

Further, Yin-Yang is always shown in a circular format, with a white dot in the black section and a black dot in the white section.  This symbolism reflects the Chinese belief that "within even pure light there is some element of darkness and vice versa ..." [Magic Symbols , p. 51]

As we shall see in a few moments, this new depiction of Jesus Christ contains two (2) representations of Yin-Yang.  From the onset, then, we know this new Jesus Christ is occultic.  Just how shockingly occultic it truly is, we shall also see in a few moments.

Sister Wendy Beckett, quoted above, mentions that this new Jesus picture has an American Indian feather depicting their unique spirituality.  American Indians are very popular these days in New Age circles because their religion is very close to that of the polytheism of the New Age.  American Indians worshipped Mother Earth and much of what is in Nature.  Therefore, this picture draws Jesus Christ into a worship of Mother Earth, another complete abomination.

This new Jesus Christ is pictured against a pale pink background.  Christian author, Dr. Cathy Burns, surmised that this background pale pink might represent the Gay Movement, since they are fond of this type of pink.  Liberal churches today have thrown their arms open wide to the homosexuals, arguing that, since Jesus never said anything overtly against homosexuality, He must have been in favor of it!  This new Jesus would also be "inclusive" of homosexuals.

Now, let us return to our feature article for even more insight.

" 'I think Jesus would have liked this contest,' said one of the judges, Pattie Wigand Sporrong of Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. 'It didn't have a lot of boundaries and barriers.' Once again, you can see the lack of doctrine that governed the creation of this new Jesus.  In fact, God did not allow any images to be made of what man thought He looked like.  We can see this in Exodus 20:4, "... you shall not make yourself any graven image ... or any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, or in the earth below ..."  God goes on to explain that He is a jealous God and does not want any image of Himself created.  Certainly, God would be opposed to any picture of Himself that was created without "boundaries and barriers".  Satan, on the other hand, would love such a loose depiction of the Savior.

"McKenzie, 51, is a Brooklyn native who moved to Vermont in 1976. Her base is Island Pond, a small town in the sparsely populated northeastern corner of the state where she sometimes paints 12 hours at a stretch in the wing of a 135-year-old house. 'Jesus of the People simply came through me,' McKenzie said. 'I feel as though I am only a vehicle for its existence.' "

Let us read this statement again, coming directly from the lips of the author of this new Jesus:

" 'Jesus of the People simply came through me,' McKenzie said. 'I feel as though I am only a vehicle for its existence.' " [Emphasis added]

Wow!  Now we understand that this painting came through Automatic Means .  Automatic Writing is when a person's control is taken over by a demon.  This demon will control both the mind and the body.  Under this influence, a person's hand flies over the paper or the keyboard, or over the canvas, in exceedingly quick fashion, creating with the person only being vaguely aware of what is flowing through them.  They literally feel like a channel for this influence, or, as McKenzie said, "I feel as though I am only a vehicle".  

This picture of the "New Jesus Christ" for the next Millennium was painted demonically through Automatic Means.  Now that we know this fact, let us examine the painting in detail.

Let us look at the key symbols used in this painting.

1.  Behind the head of the new Jesus Christ is the Sun. This symbol dates back to the Egyptian Satanic Mysteries, which were thoroughly brought into judgment by God in the Book of Exodus.  But, it is also very poignant that the Sun would be used in this depiction of the new Jesus, because the United Nations established an organization whose initials initials spell out S-U-N [Spiritual Unity of Nations].  Its purpose is to "formulate a New Age World Religion to complement the New World Order of the Aquarian Age" [Dr. Cathy Burns, Masonic and Occult Symbols Illustrated , p. 196-7]  This is precisely the direction this whole "inclusive" drive toward world religion is taking the unsaved of the world, and this symbol is designed to help get them there.

You can see the depiction of the way in which occultists use the very large round circle to depict the Sun.  This Freemason symbol is called the "Ra-Stand", named after the Sun god, Ra, of Egyptian Mysteries religion.  This is the sun god which the God of the Bible brought into judgment in Exodus 10:21-23.  You can see, in this symbol, the very large round Sun symbol encompassing the Fire Triangle.

This Masonic symbol also depicts exactly how the occultists depict Sun Worship.  They place the Sun as the head of the man, rather than behind it.  However, the meaning is the same:  Sun Worship.

2.  To the left of the Sun is an equilateral cross holding up a Yin-Yang symbol.  We have already discussed the Yin-Yang and its deeply Satanic roots. It represents the Satanic view of Nature as being "balanced" between light and darkness, positive and negative, and male versus female.

But, we need to consider angles of the equilateral cross, for its symbol is deeply witchcraft. "In Gaul we find the cross to have been a solar symbol when it had equal arms and angles; to the Phoenicians it was an instrument of sacrifice to their God, Baal; and to the Egyptians, the crux ansata was his symbol of eternal life" [Ibid., Burns, p. 349; emphasis added] 

The four points of this cross represent the occult Four Elements of Air, Water, Earth, and Fire.  They also represent the Four Seasons, Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter.  Or, occultists may represent the four points as the Four Directions, North, South, East, and West.  In many depictions, the equilateral cross is surrounded by a circle, in which case the equilateral cross divides the circle into quarters, known as the Quartered Circle.

3.  The equilateral cross to the right of the Sun holds a feather in the Southern leg.  The author says that she intended the feather to represent the American Indian spirituality.  As we noted above, the American Indian religion was Mother Earth worship, so this revelation is damning. 

In Egyptian Mysteries religion, however, the feather plays a very important role in the ultimate judgment of the deceased. Listen to the description: "... if good deeds outweigh bad ones, the person is rewarded and vice versa.  A book printed by the Masonic Publishing and Manufacturing Company [Frederic Portal, A Comparison of Egyptian Symbols With Those of the Hebrews , p. 50-51] reveals: 'A painting of the [Egyptian] Funeral Ritual represents the judgment of a [deceased] soul; it advances toward the goddess Thme, who wears an ostrich feather on her head ... they place in one side [of the balance scale] ... the ostrich feather and in the other side the vase containing the heart; if the weight of the heart is greater than that of the ostrich feather, the scale descends, and the soul is received in the celestial courts above [Heaven]'. "

Thus, we can see the importance of a feather to the occultist.  If this painter, McKenzie, were channeling this painting as she admits, this imagery might have come from the demon within, rather than from her mind.

4.  The four elements in this painting are depicted in two ways:  a)  The four points of the equilateral cross, as already discussed; and b) The symbol of each of the four elements is woven into the picture.  Fire is represented by the Sun behind the head of the new Jesus.  Air is represented by the feather [light as a feather, birds fly].  Earth is represented by the very unique Yin-Yang symbol on the cross to the left of the new Jesus.  In fact, the symbol of the Yin-Yang seems deliberately obscured in such a way as to make it resemble the oceans and continents of the Earth. Water is represented by the triangle pointing downward on the left side of the white cape, as this is the symbol of water to the occultist [Magic Symbols , p. 78]

5.  Homosexuality is also possibly depicted, both Male and Female.  The pale pink color background strongly suggests male homosexuality, since that is the color they have chosen.  Female homosexuality is possibly depicted by the downward-pointing triangle on the white cape.  Listen to the quote from Dr. Cathy Burns, which she takes directly from a Feminist publication, Lizzie Brown/Pleiades, 1993:  "The Triangle is a symbol of Gay and Lesbian identity, community and pride.  It says that we are 'Out', standing up, unifying across the breathtaking diversity of our kind, and that we are committed to our freedom and our lives.  The triangle is also an ancient glyph for vulva, for the Feminine ... The triangle was reclaimed by the Gay Liberation movement in the 70's as a symbol both of resistance to oppression and of Lesbian and Gay pride."  Dr. Burns then depicts a symbol the Feminists created to depict themselves, and while it is too disgusting to share with you, rest assured it was in the form of a downward-pointing triangle.

6.  Androgyny is also depicted in this painting.  Androgyny is defined as "having both female and male characteristics" [Tormont Webster's Dictionary].  Listen to the quote of an artist commenting on this painting of the new Jesus Christ.  "In the view of one of the judges, Sherry Lynn Best, who directs an art gallery at Rockhurst University: ''It's not real masculine. It's not real feminine. It's not really androgynous, either'.'' [Feature article, above]

A female model was used during this painting session [Ibid], even though the real Jesus Christ was Male.  When you look at this figure, it is hard to tell whether you are looking at a male or a female.  In the world of the occult, the Androgynous figure is the perfect standard.  "... the andrognyne ... was considered to be the 'image of human perfection and wholeness'." [Dr. Cathy Burns, op. cit., p. 133, quoting New Age author, John Lash, The Complete Guide to Spiritual Pathfinding , p. 224]  Thus, the new Jesus fits the Androgynous mold perfectly.

7.  The robes of this new Jesus are black and white, another perfect illustration of Yin [Black] and Yang [White].  This fact is made startlingly clear by the starkness of the painting.  It is so black and white.  Please refer back to the earlier Masonic symbol for Sun Worship, with the Sun resting on the man's shoulders.  Notice the black and white tile on which the man is standing.  You will find this type of tiles in most of the floors of the Masonic Lodges of this country.  These black and white tiles are the Masonic representation of Yin-Yang.

8.  The left hand is this painting is the most telling Satanic symbol of all !  Take a look at it.  The first thing you will probably notice is that the hand is most definitely not human.  It looks deformed and has long narrow fingers ending in what looks like claws. 

But, the most important fact about this hand is that it contains only three (3) fingers!  As Dr. Cathy Burns stated, "All occult aliens from the pit have only three fingers."  In the world of the occult, any depiction of a being straight from the Pit, or the Abyss, has only three fingers!  These beings are the most evil, the most disgusting, and the most to be feared.  Thus, this new "Jesus Christ" is depicted as a being straight out of the Pit of Hell.

But, look at the fact that this left hand is pointing to the center of the body, slightly off to the left.  The fingers of this hand seem to be pointing to the left side of the Heart area of the human Chakra.  What is Chakra, you might ask?  "Chakra is the spiritual energy center", and is normally depicted as running through the human body upright, along the spine.  The New Age Dictionary lists the following points of the Chakra.

1.  Muladhara -- base of the spine

2.  Svadhisthana -- lower abdomen

3.  Manipura -- navel

4.  Anahata -- heart. Also depicted as the occult element, Air [http://www.athens.net/~rblum/earthsky/chakras.html.  Therefore, the fact that this new Jesus is pointing to the Heart Chakra area, he is depicting the pagan element, Air.

5.  Visuddii -- throat

6.  Ajna -- Third Eye -- This is the center of the forehead, also known as the Third Eye.

7.  Sahasrara  -- crown of the head. 

"The challenge of the fourth chakra is to open ourselves up to the non-judgmental, unattached vibration of universal love. The natural feeling at the heart chakra is deep radiating warmth. The essence power is love. When we are in tune with the natural rhythm of our heart and experience the warm, nurturing glow that it generates, we know we are connected to the Source of all healing and spiritual power. We are able to surrender to, unconditionally accept and delightfully enjoy life as it presents itself moment to moment. We are in love with life and that is more than enough to make us happy and at peace with ourselves, each other and the world."

"Anahata. The fourth center, which embodies the element air , is situated in the chest. It is often called the heart lotus because it is in the heart and cardiac region of the physical body ... In the middle of this chakra are two intersecting triangles. Within these triangles is the core of our individual being the very spirit of the divine which glows 'like the steady tapering flame of a lamp.' Thus, you can see how the strong trend over the past 4 decades to depict God and Jesus Christ as only Love has now reached full force.  This new Jesus is pointing to the Heart Chakra, the "Source of all healing and spiritual power".  Further, this New Age author goes on to say that we are to "surrender to, unconditionally accept" this kind of Love.  This is precisely the message of the coming Kingdom of Antichrist.

Finally, I am deeply struck by the fact that the demon who channeled this painting of the new "Jesus Christ" decided to make him black.  Since the New World Order Plan envisions the eventual erradication of the black race, I am curious as to why the new Jesus would be black.

However, we are now entering the realm of the immediate need to unite all peoples of the world, including black, so they can support Antichrist when he arises.  The Roman Catholic Church is the declared head of this world religion [See NEWS1052 for full details].  Therefore, they are the organization responsible for uniting all the world's peoples in this immediate time frame. 

I find it highly interesting that they worship a Black Madonna in various places in Europe.  This image to your left is the Black Madonna of Poland, the Madonna of Czestochowa.  She is the Patron Virgin to which Pope John Paul II is totally devoted.  Listen to New Age author, China Galland, describe the importance of the Black Madonna in her book, Longing For Darkness .  After noting that black goddesses are worshipped extensively in Hinduism, Tibetansim, and Buddhism, she turned her eyes toward Europe.

"Scattered throughout the European continent there are hundreds of dark or black Madonnas:  in Spain, France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, as well as other countries ... an unequivocally black deity venerated by a white population ..." [p. 134-5] 

Of course, each of these black Madonnas is pictured as holding a black baby Jesus!  Could  it be that the Roman Catholic Church has decided to depict the adult Jesus Christ as black, since they have depicted him as the black child of the black Madonnas throughout Europe?  Now, they would have an adult black Madonna and an adult Jesus for people to worship.

This new Catholic picture of a Jesus Christ that is so laden with symbols of witchcraft, including the demonic three-fingered hand of a being straight out of the Abyss, is truly a symbol designed to unite all religions into one.  Whether you practice the Catholic/Liberal brand of "Christianity", or Buddhism, or Hinduism, or any one of a number of Mother Earth and New Age religions, you will be able to unite around this "new Jesus Christ". 

Truly, the National Catholic Reporter has demonstrated for all the world to see that we are right on the money when we demonstrate that the Traditional Roman Catholic Church has always been a practitioner of White Magic Witchcraft.  Just as this terrible depiction of the new Jesus is intended for "the good of mankind", White Magic Witchcraft seeks to use the power of the occult for "the good of mankind". Please allow us the privilege of the Bible sounding the final warning: "But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
 For if he that cometh preacheth  another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him." [2 Cor 11:3-4]

The Apostle Paul is personally warning all who would receive this "other Jesus".  You are being beguiled by the Serpent [Satan} much as Eve was beguiled in the Garden of Eden.  The only solution to your predicament -- which could end in eternal separation from God in Hell -- is to follow another of God's commands:

"Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths , where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls." [Jeremiah 6:16]

The very fact that we are witness to such an abominable re-creation of the historic Jesus is yet one more firm indication we are at the End of the Age.  Antichrist cannot be far behind.

Are you spiritually ready? Is your family? Are you adequately protecting your loved ones? This is the reason for this ministry, to enable you to first understand the peril facing you, and then help you develop strategies to warn and protect your loved ones. Once you have been thoroughly trained, you can also use your knowledge as a means to open the door of discussion with an unsaved person. I have been able to use it many times, and have seen people come to Jesus Christ as a result. These perilous times are also a time when we can reach many souls for Jesus Christ, making an eternal difference.
