NEWS BRIEF:  "Hello David, I was watching the dave letterman [sic] show all last week and again the start of this week and he keeps telling the audience that the elections will be a draw and clinton [sic] will remain in office another term.Could this be possible.? Is that how the system works in America.?"  [Email from a subscriber living in Europe, November 7, 2000]

I wrote back to this subscriber to tell him that, no, the system does not work like this in America.  I explained that the United States Constitution has a limit on the number of terms a President may serve.  This Constitutional amendment was passed after Franklin D. Roosevelt won an unprecedented four terms, and the people discovered after his death that Roosevelt had ill-served the country during the last 6 years of his life -- all of them war years -- because of ill health.

Then, I explained that, while America has had its share of close elections, it has never had an election that resulted in a "draw", that eventually some one is always declared a winner.  Indeed, I have never, ever seen such a 'draw' in a Presidential election, where the votes are so close, nationwide.  In Florida, at the time of this writing, the vote differences between Bush and Gore are in the hundreds.  Furthermore, before the campaign, we were seeing reports of voter irregularities before the polls officially opened.

So, the question of the hour is this:  How did Letterman know for certain -- 10 or more days before the election -- that the result would be a 'draw ', i.e., with no clear-cut winner?  The fact that he made this statement repeatedly over the course of nearly two weeks tells you he was sending out a firm and unmistakable message, instead of just making an off-the-cuff joke.

Does this not presuppose that he knew some "insider" information the rest of us were not privy to?  Of course, it does.  Letterman might have known the Illuminati Plan for this election.

Now, let us examine David Letterman's repeated statements to his audience.  Letterman boldly made two assertions in his often repeated prediction: 

1.  The election would result in a "draw", i.e., no clearly defined winner

2.  This election result would allow President Clinton to remain in office

We know now that Letterman was absolutely dead-on correct in his first prediction.  The election resulted in a draw; at last count, Gore had 260 Electoral Votes, while Bush had 246.  A total of 270 Electoral Votes is needed to become President.

So, the question of this hour is, can Letterman also be dead-on correct in his second prediction?  Can this election result in Clinton remaining in office, either for a short period of time, or permanently?

We already know that President Clinton wants to stay in office.  On August 29, 1999, Carl Limbacher of NewsMax news wrote an article in which he stated that Clinton had no intention of leaving the White House.    Listen to the key paragraph:

"I have now heard confirmation from three different sources who are very close to the Clintons that Bill has no intention of leaving the White House! At first I thought it was just right-wing paranoia. But a powerful woman friend of mine in entertainment (who must remain nameless!), who is a friend of Hillary's 'special friends,' was at the White House recently for a holiday. She said that Clinton spoke openly about finding a way to circumvent the Congress and the Constitution and find a way to stay on for another term, or stay president indefinitely. Incredulously, she asked how he was going to swing this feat of magic, and she said he got the most chilling, evil, demonic look in his eye that she had ever seen come from a human being, and he said, 'World War III .'"

Notice the words spelling out Clinton's intention:  "... Clinton spoke openly about finding a way to circumvent the Congress and the Constitution and find a way to stay on for another term, or stay president indefinitely."

Given the 2000 election results, one can only wonder if we are not seeing the beginning of an Illuminist plan to "circumvent the Congress and the Constitution", for the express purpose of Clinton staying "on for another term", or even staying "President indefinitely".

But, how can this happen, you say?  First of all, do not look to Congress for any assistance.  As we pointed out in NEWS1264, Clinton was deliberately acquitted by a Republican-led, Masonic-led, Senate.  In fact, David Schippers, legal counsel for the House Judiciary Committee that led the fight to impeach Clinton, writes in his book, Sellout:  The Inside Story of President Clinton's Impeachment , "The Republican leadership in the Senate and House sold out the House Managers and our investigation." [Page 5-6]

Further, Schippers revealed that the man who led the battle to acquit Clinton was none other than 33rd Degree Mason, Republican Senate Majority Leader, Trent Lott.  After requesting an unprecedented meeting with the House Impeachment Managers, in their offices, Lott boldly and arrogantly said, "Henry [Hyde] you're not going to dump this garbage on us."

Schippers writes of his reaction:  "I immediately thought of Jay McMullen, who once covered City Hall for the Chicago Sun-Times.  When McMullen saw a do-gooder get upset, he'd point to the guy, laugh, and say, 'Look at him.  He thinks it's all on the legit!'  Stupid me, I guess I thought everything was on the legit, too.  But, no, it was clear right off the bat that things were not at all legit.  Rather, the Senate Republican leadership wanted to sink us."

Since the Republican Illuminists in our government are just as committed to the New World Order as are the Democrat Illuminists, we cannot count on Congress fighting Clinton on this matter.

But, what about the Supreme Court?  Could they be counted on to keep Clinton from seizing power through any extra-legal means?  We cannot count on these Justices, because they were all selected for their commitment to the New World Order also; do not be deceived on this point. 

So, how could this election "draw" remain a "draw" so that Clinton can remain in office, either temporarily or permanently?  To understand this question, we need to brush up on our understanding of the Electoral College.  Remember, for Clinton to remain in office, the Electoral College must not be able to reach a firm conclusion as to the winner of this Presidential Election, 2000, either in the short term or indefinitely.

Let us reprint the explanation given by the World Book Encyclopedia on the Electoral College:

"The United States Constitution provides that the President shall be elected by a body of presidential electors chosen by all the states. This body is the Electoral College. Every state has as many votes in the Electoral College as the total of its senators and representatives in Congress. Amendment 23 to the U.S, Constitution, ratified in 1961, gave the District of Columbia three electoral votes … State committees or conventions of each political party usually select the candidates for presidential electors. In some states, the ballots list the presidential and vice-presidential candidates, but do not list the proposed electors. For this reason, many voters do not realize they do not vote directly for the President and Vice-President. In the election, the candidate who wins a plurality (the highest number) of a state's popular votes usually receives all the state's electoral votes. For this reason, a candidate may be elected President without receiving a majority of the popular votes."

These electors actually and officially elect the President.  The Founding Fathers never really trusted the average "vulgar" people to consistently make the right decision for President.  Therefore, they set up an indirect method of voting whereby the popular votes in each state choose Electoral College electors that would then vote for President.  However, the electors are not absolutely legally bound to vote the way in which the states actually went in the election. 

Historically, this scenario has already occurred. Quoting from this World Book Encyclopedia, "In 1877, both Republicans and Democrats claimed to have won. Samuel J. Tilden, the Democratic candidate, had 184 electoral votes, or one short of a majority in the Electoral College. Rutherford B. Hayes, the Republican candidate, had 165 votes. Twenty votes were disputed, 19 of them from Florida , Louisiana, and South Carolina ... Each of these states sent two conflicting sets of election returns to Washington. The other disputed vote came from Oregon, where eligibility of one Republican elector had been questioned and a certificate of election had been issued to his rival. As a matter of policy, the Democrats automatically questioned the results of each election board."

You can see how votes in the Electoral College can be disputed.  Since this vote was a mess, an Electoral Commission was established.  "To settle the matter, Congress created the Electoral Commission. It was made up of 15 members: five Senators, five Representatives, and five Supreme Court justices. Congress carefully arranged that three senators and two representatives were to be Republicans, while two senators and three representatives were to be Democrats. Of the justices, two Democrats and two Republicans were named, and these four had power to name a fifth."

With the Electoral Commission being comprised of 15 members, an odd number, you would think that a tie vote in the Electoral College would be impossible; however, that notion was dispelled the very first time this new commission was established, as one of the Judicial members, David Davies, accepted an appointment to the Senate, thus vacating the number of Democrat justices from which to choose.  This World Book article then states, "As a result, the commission had a Republican majority of eight to seven. By a strict party vote, the commission gave every one of the disputed votes, and the election, to Hayes." [Emphasis added]

Thus, in this election, the man who became President was the one who received the fewest Electoral votes!

However, for Clinton to remain in office, as Letterman foretold, every legal, established method of resolving this election must remain deadlocked. 

The U.S. Senate voted in February, 1999, 50-50, to acquit Clinton of Impeachment charges, a very convenient vote which allowed him to legally be acquitted, while allowing Senators who were from Conservative states to go back to their constituents, saying that they had voted courageously. 

Is such vote-fixing ever done in our Congress, you might say?  Yes, and we thank Dr. James Dobson of Focus On The Family for confirmation that vote-fixing is a regular part of our Congress.  In NEWS1264, I wrote about Dr. Dobson's "upsetting" discovery that votes were regularly fixed in Congress.  Here is the quote from that article:

"Several years ago, I chuckled at the announcement by Dr. James Dobson, that he had made a terribly upsetting discovery during the time he and several Christian organizations were fighting on Capitol Hill for outlawing Abortion on Demand. In the course of his fight, Dobson discovered that most votes, and especially votes on key issues, are fixed. On a controversial issue, those congressmen or senators in districts that were strongly in favor of a particular piece of legislation were allowed to vote Dr. Dobson's way. However, those representatives whose districts were more liberal, or were "safe", were told they must vote against the bill. Dr. Dobson discovered the dirty little secret that a very few leaders in Congress absolutely control the vote on any issue."

Now, let us get back to this issue of David Letterman's statement 10 or more days before this Presidential election that the vote was going to have two results:  1)  To be a Draw; and 2) To allow Clinton to remain in office.

In February, 1999, I wrote NEWS1263, about Clinton's Impeachment.  The conversation I had with David Bresnahan seems to reverberate with special significance now.  Listen:

"National columnist, David Bresnahan told me several months ago on the phone that President Clinton has drafted a Constitutional Amendment that would allow him to serve as many terms as he would like. Further, Bresnahan says that this amendment would be introduced by a Democrat in the House and a Republican in the Senate. Clinton and his advisors feel that such an amendment could be pushed through in a matter of months. "

I could very well be wrong, but I really think that this whole issue will remain unresolved for quite a long while, and that a whole host of questions, and even scandals, might arise that could cause the resolution of this election to drag on into early next year.

If this is the case, then the planned Third World War might explode in the meantime.  With the election still bogged down, and with no clear-cut -- or even declared -- winner, the United States might find itself embroiled in a three-front war, fighting against terrorism in our cities, a collapsing economy, and rioting in our cities, with a Lame-Duck President.grimly trying to hold on to leadership in a country that is seemingly falling apart.

Suddenly, a "patriotic" Republican Senator and a Democratic Congressmen simultaneously introduce a bill that would allow Clinton to remain in office "as many terms as he would like", quoting Bresnahan, above.  I can see the scenario in which such a move would be hailed by both Republican and Democrat as being the right thing to do for the country, and the average American on the street would agree. [Of course, Clinton can continue indefinitely as President if the country is declared to be in a National Emergency, according to Executive Orders Clinton has created and set in place.  He does not need an amendment from Congress, unless he wanted it just for window dressing].

Only time will tell, and we Christians have to remain eternally vigilant.  We must obey Jesus' command as we face this last of the last days:  "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." [Luke 21:28]

Are you spiritually ready? Is your family? Are you adequately protecting your loved ones? These perilous times are also a time when we can reach many souls for Jesus Christ, making an eternal difference.

He will instantly forgive you, and fill your heart with the joy of the Holy Spirit. Then, you need to begin a daily walk of prayer and personal Bible Study.

If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as Savior, but have come to realize His reality and the approaching End of the Age, and want to accept His FREE Gift of Eternal Life, you can also do so now, in the privacy of your home. Once you accept Him as Savior, you are spiritually Born Again, and are as assured of Heaven as if you were already there. Then, you can rest assured that the Kingdom of Antichrist will not touch you spiritually.
