Attorneys for Michael Schiavo Wednesday filed a court challenge to "Terri's Law," which authorized Florida Gov. Jeb Bush to re-connect a feeding tube to keep Terri Schindler Schiavo alive. In the brief, the legal team for Michael Schiavo contends that the law passed by the state legislature last week violates Terri's right to privacy and the separation of power provisions of the Florida Constitution. The filing is the latest move in an ongoing dispute that began in 1990, when Terri suffered severe brain damage under questionable circumstances. Michael Schiavo says his wife did not want to be kept alive through artificial means, but the woman's parents say her condition could improve if she receives the proper treatment.
