France Struggles Through 13th Night of Unrest
French unrest continued into the 13th night despite the government’s imposition of emergency laws and curfew authority to local mayors and prefects

Some 500 cars were burned Tuesday night, less than half of the damage the night before, and 200 rioters arrested. The northern town of Amiens was the first to declare a night curfew under the new regulations.
