"How great is the inward tranquility of God's Church"! "Peace which the world gives not"
The vision in this chapter describes the condition of Israel in Zechariah's day; but being interpreted in its aspect towards us, it describes the Church of God as we find it now in the world. The Church is compared to a myrtle grove flourishing in a valley. It is hidden, unobserved, secreted; courting no honour and attracting no observation from the careless gazer. The Church, like her head, has a glory, but it is concealed from carnal eyes, for the time of her breaking forth in all her splendour is not yet come. The idea of tranquil security is also suggested to us: for the myrtle grove in the valley is still and calm, while the storm sweeps over the mountain summits. Tempests spend their force upon the craggy peaks of the Alps, but down yonder where flows the stream which maketh glad the city of our God, the myrtles flourish by the still waters, all unshaken by the impetuous wind.
How great is the inward tranquility of God's Church! Even when opposed and persecuted, she has a peace which the world gives not, and which, therefore, it cannot take away: the peace of God which passeth all understanding keeps the hearts and minds of God's people. Does not the metaphor forcibly picture the peaceful, perpetual growth of the saints? The myrtle sheds not her leaves, she is always green; and the Church in her worst time still hath a blessed verdure of grace about her; nay, she has sometimes exhibited most verdure when her winter has been sharpest. She has prospered most when her adversities have been most severe. Hence the text hints at victory.
The myrtle is the emblem of peace, and a significant token of triumph. The brows of conquerors were bound with myrtle and with laurel; and is not the Church ever victorious? Is not every Christian more than a conqueror through Him that loved him? Living in peace, do not the saints fall asleep in the arms of victory? (C.H. Spurgeon, "Morning and Evening Devotions")

I.
The fatal furor which erupted throughout the world over the cartoon images
of the Prophet Muhammad shows just how huge a lie President Bush told when
he assured Americans that Muslims and Christians "pray to the same God",
and that "Islam is just another path to Heaven".
Do you remember President Bush's bombshell revelation just five days before the November, 2004, Presidential Election? Recalling his words:
NEWS BRIEF: ""Bush breaks with GOP on same-sex unions", United Press International (UPI), 10/26/2004
WASHINGTON, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- President Bush broke with the Republican Party platform in supporting states' rights to permit same-sex civil unions. 'I don't think we should deny people rights to a civil union, a legal arrangement, if that's what a state chooses to do so. ... I view the definition of marriage different from legal arrangements that enable people to have rights. And I strongly believe that marriage ought to be defined as between a union between a man and a woman.
"Now, having said that, states ought to be able to have the right to pass laws that enable people to be able to have rights like others," Bush told ABC's Charlie Gibson in an interview broadcast Tuesday on "Good Morning America."
As if he could not believe his ears, Gibson then asked the President the next logical question:
So the Republican platform on that point, as far as you're concerned, is wrong?" Gibson asked the president, to which Bush replied: "Right."
In this interview, President Bush began by saying he supported "Civil Unions", which is a gay-coined term meaning "Gay Marriage". But, then, the President weighed in his religious views regarding the claims of Jesus Christ as to Who He Is.

"Oct. 26, 2004 -- While the president often refers to God during public addresses to his supporters, Bush's religious convictions don't always seem to reflect those of the conservative Christians who make up his political base. In an exclusive interview with ABC News' Charles Gibson, Bush said he believes that both Christians and Muslims worship the same God. 'I think we do. We have different routes of getting to the Almighty', Bush said. 'But I want you to understand, I want your listeners to understand, I don't get to get decide who goes to heaven. The Almighty God decides who goes to heaven and I am on my personal walk', he said."
Bush's last sentence is designed to trigger the false belief in undiscerning Christians that one cannot "judge" whether a person is right with God, thus hiding his damning earlier statement. This admonition to "Judge not that ye be not judged" (Matt 7:1) has been so twisted that Christians really believe they cannot know from a person's fruits as to whether that person is genuinely saved; however, the chapter headline on Matthew 7 in my KJV Bible says, "Christ, ending His sermon on the mount, reproves rash judgment". This is precisely correct! Jesus was warning against reaching a spiritual conclusion based upon little or no real evidence.
Proof this Biblical fact is Jesus' other admonition, "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment" (John 7:24) We are to judge righteously, based upon solid fact. Thus, Matthew 7:1 and John 7:24 go hand-in-hand with Matthew 7:16-20, where Jesus emphatically declares, "Ye SHALL know them by their fruits". (Emphasis added)
However, these are the President's own lying words: Muslims and Christians pray to the same God!
The preposterous and deadly Islamic riots which have been occurring all over the globe in these past days demonstrate the enormous falsity of Bush's statement. Let us review these current news stories now.
ISLAMIC REACTION TO DEFAMATION OF THEIR FOUNDER
NEWS BRIEF: "Muslim anger as more papers print Mohammad cartoons", Reuters News, Feb 3, 2006
"PARIS (Reuters) - Angry Muslims attacked a building housing the Danish embassy in Indonesia on Friday as more European newspapers reprinted cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad that have caused outrage across the Islamic world ... Muslims consider any images of Mohammad to be blasphemous and the cartoons have touched off an international row and a debate on freedom of the media and respect for religion. Up to 300 militant Indonesian Muslims went on a rampage in the lobby of a building housing the Danish embassy in Jakarta. Shouting "Allahu Akbar" (God is Greatest), they smashed lamps with bamboo sticks, threw chairs, lobbed rotten eggs and tomatoes and tore up a Danish flag ... Palestinian gunmen seized and later released a German on Thursday, and a hand grenade was thrown into the compound of the French Cultural Center in the Gaza Strip."

"OUTRAGE spread across the Islamic world today over Danish cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad ... Indonesian Foreign Ministry spokesman Yuri Thamrin said the dispute was not just between Jakarta and Copenhagen. 'It involves the whole Islamic world vis-a-vis Denmark and vis-a-vis the trend of Islamophobia', he said."
This Indonesian Muslim is entirely correct: the entire Islamic world is suddenly at verbal war with anyone in the West who published this cartoon.
"Pakistan's parliament today passed a resolution condemning the cartoons as 'blasphemous and derogatory' ... The editor of a Norwegian magazine which reprinted the Danish cartoons said he had received 25 death threats and thousands of hate messages. A Jordanian editor was sacked for reprinting them, despite saying his purpose had been only to show the extent of the Danish insult to Islam. Iraqi Christians said they feared a new wave of attacks by Muslims, driven by anger over the images."
The French Foreign Minister understood the issue pretty clearly: these insane protests were proving that the global view of the irrationality of Muslims is correct:
"French Foreign Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy condemned the protests. 'I am totally shocked and find it unacceptable that because there have been caricatures in the West extremists can burn flags or take fundamentalist or extremist positions which would prove the cartoonists right', he told LCI television." (Ibid.)

"TWELVE Danish cartoonists whose pictures sparked such outcry have gone into hiding under round-the-clock protection, fearing for their lives. Some of them are really, really scared' ..."

"DAMASCUS, Syria (AP) - Thousands of Syrians enraged by caricatures of Islam's revered prophet torched the Danish and Norwegian embassies in Damascus on Saturday - the most violent in days of furious protests by Muslims in Asia, Europe and the Middle East ... Iraqis rallying by the hundreds demanded an apology from the European Union, and the leader of the Palestinian group Hamas called the cartoons "an unforgivable insult" that merited punishment by death.
"Pakistan summoned the envoys of nine Western countries in protest, and even Europeans took to the streets in Denmark and Britain to voice their anger ... With their Damascus embassies up in flames, the foreign ministries advised their citizens to leave Syria without delay ... Demonstrators moved onto the Norwegian Embassy about 4 miles away, also setting fire to it before being dispersed by police using tear gas and water cannons. Hundreds of police and troops barricaded the road leading to the French Embassy, but protesters were able to break through briefly before fleeing from the force of water cannons ... In Santiago, the Chilean Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the Chilean Embassy in Damascus was also torched ... A South African court banned the country's Sunday newspapers from reprinting the cartoons.
"Mahmoud Zahar, leader of the militant Palestinian group Hamas, told the Italian daily 'Il Giornale' the cartoonists should be punished by death."
"Iran's president ordered his commerce minister to study canceling all trade contracts with European countries whose newspapers have published the caricatures, the official Islamic Republic News Agency reported ... The leaders of Indonesia, Malaysia and Pakistan denounced the publication of the caricatures. Pakistan's Foreign Ministry summoned nine envoys to lodge protests against the publication of the 'blasphemous' sketches."

"100 militants offer to become suicide bombers: Kandahar - One hundred militants have enlisted to become suicide bombers in Afghanistan since the appearance of "blasphemous" cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), a top Taliban commander said yesterday. Mullah Dadullah, one of the Taliban's most senior military commanders, said his militant group had also offered a reward of 100 kilogrammes of gold to anyone who killed people responsible for the drawings. 'More than 100 mujahedin [holy warriors] have enlisted to carry out suicide attacks' ..."
We could go on and on, showing you that all over the world, Muslims have literally launched a murderous rampage over a cartoon caricature of the Prophet Muhammad. Individual Muslims were setting fire to buildings, kidnapping and killing people, all in the name of defending the Prophet Muhammed, the founder of Islam.
How do Christians react when their Jesus is blasphemed? Recently, people in America and throughout the world have taken to blaspheming Jesus in ways much more offensive than a simple cartoon showing Muhammad with a ticking bomb in his turban. Remember when gay activist Robert Maplethorpe placed a crucifix (with Jesus hanging on the cross) in a jar filled with his urine -- and then placed the jar in an art museum? Remember all the gay plays in which Jesus and/or His disciples are depicted as practicing homosexuals?
Christians protested and wrote letters, but not one instance was reported in which offended Christians launched a rampage, killing and kidnapping people and setting fire to foreign embassies. What is the difference? There are several, but the fundamental reason is that Christians worship an Omnipotent Living God Who can take care of Himself!
1) Omipotent God
"Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord." (Romans 12:19)
Therefore, while our hearts weep, and while we protest verbally whenever our precious Jesus is blasphemed, we obey this Scriptural commandment, and save the vengeance for Jesus, Who has promised that, at the right time, He will heartily avenge himself upon those who blaspheme Him. The entire Book of Revelation shows God's vengeance upon a world which has rejected Him. Old Testament prophecies also abound which tell of His End of the Age vengeance. For example:
"Behold, the day of the Lord is coming!--fierce, with wrath and raging anger--to make the land and the whole earth a desolation and to destroy out of it its sinners." (Isaiah 13:9; Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary)
In His right timing, our Omnipotent God is going to visit the world in His fierce anger, destroying all sinners from out of the world. Later in Isaiah 13, God says He is going to "make a man more rare than fine gold, and mankind scarcer than the pure gold of Ophir" (Verse 12). When you carefully add up all the judgments in the Book of Revelation -- paying attention to the decreasing numbers of people left alive after each judgment -- you will realize that God is going to kill 66% of all the people on the earth.
Therefore, because our Jesus is Omnipotent and Has promised that He will one day take the lives of all those who have mistreated Him and His holy name, Christians do not feel personally obligated to start killing those who blaspheme Him and His nature.
Listen to some other pearls of Wisdom the Bible has to offer on this subject of wrath, or anger.
"For wrath killeth the foolish man, and envy slayeth the silly one." (Job 5:2; Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary)
"A fool's wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame." (Prov 12:16; Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary)
"The wrath of a king is as messengers of death: but a wise man will pacify it." (Prov 16:14; Ibid.)
"A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment..." (Prov 19:19; Ibid.)
"Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God." (James 1:19-20)
Therefore, Christians are commanded to control their anger. Whenever a person is given over to quick and furious wrath, that person is easily manipulatible, since he is acting according to his emotion and not his intellect. Such a man, or such a crowd, can be so manipulated that a smart propagandist can literally exercise such control as to be able to drive such a person or such a crowd of persons, over a cliff like lemmings.
2) Christians are also filled with a peaceful Holy Spirit, Who restrains us from such violent outbursts.
Holy Spirit Fruits of the Spirit: "But the fruit of the Holy Spirit - the work which His presence within accomplishes is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law ..." (Galatians 5:22-23; Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary)
Compare these "fruits of the spirit" against the murderous rampages of Muslims throughout the world.
Now, listen as the Apostle Paul lists the completely different fruits of the flesh -- those who are not saved and under the power of the Holy Spirit.
Fruits of the Unsaved Person: "Now the doings (practices) of the flesh are clear (obvious): they are immorality, impurity, indecency, Idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger (ill temper), selfishness, divisions (dissensions), party spirit ... Envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." (Galatians 5:19-21; Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary)

Just a few days ago, stories began to appear, reporting that these cartoons
appeared first in an Egyptian newspaper and then were manipulated by someone
who wanted to create the exactly the type of furor the world has witnessed
this past week.
Examine this article carefully, for it shows the exact caricature which has sparked such terrible and deadly actions.
NEWS BRIEF: "Arab paper published cartoons 4 months ago: No outrage when Egyptian publication headlined drawings on Ramadan cover", WorldNetDaily, February 9, 2006
"While Muslims across the world have rioted in the past week against countries whose newspapers have published cartoons of the prophet Muhammad, there was no uproar when the same caricatures were prominently displayed in an Arab newspaper four months ago. The images originating in Denmark's Jyllands-Posten in September were reportedly featured on the cover and inside pages of Egypt's al-Fagr (the Dawn) in October, during the holy month of Ramadan. According to the Freedom for Egyptians blog, al-Fagr included the cartoons on the front cover and page 17 of its edition dated Oct. 17. The headline, when translated, is said to read: 'Continued Boldness. Mocking the Prophet and his wife by Caricature'."
NOTE: Click here to see the Arab editorialist report on the caricatures which appeared five months ago, on October 17, 2005, in the Islamic newspaper, Al Fager. No Muslims got mad then, and no one was kidnapped and no one lost their life.
Can you imagine this revelation? This cartoon image which has sparked such deadly protests the world over were actually created by an Islamic cartoonist and run in an Egyptian Islamic newspaper during the holy month of Ramadan! How is it that Muslims do not take offense when other Muslims print a cartoon showing Mohammad with a bomb ticking in his turban, but "get all bent out of shape" when that very same cartoon is reprinted in a non-Muslim newspaper?
Very good question, you probably agree! Where does the answer lie? It may lie in the direction to which I alluded, above. Any person given over to instant rage is easily manipulatible, and a crowd of such people can easily be driven over a cliff like lemmings. Is this what is happening here? And, if it is, who is the master propagandist doing the manipulating?
World Net Daily has posted an article reporting that, in order to further stir the masses, an Islamic Imam published three other very offensive cartoons -- which have now been proven to be fake! Further, the group which reportedly received the offensive cartoons has ties to the Egyptian terrorist group, Gamaa Islamiya! Can anyone say, "provocateur"?

"One of three especially inflammatory but undocumented Muhammad images distributed by a Danish imam as an example of an 'anti-Muslim environment' in the European country turns out to be a poorly reproduced copy of an Associated Press photo taken at a French pig-squealing contest. The weblog NeanderNews pointed out the image used by Imam Ahmad Abu Laban was a faxed copy of AP's Aug. 15 photo of Jacques Barrot competing at the annual French Pig-Squealing Championships in Trie-sur-Baise.

At this point, we have to conclude that someone who desperately wanted a "confrontation of civilizations" deliberately created these offensive caricatures and released them to an Islamic public whom they knew was primed to explode. Who could be behind this deliberate act of propaganda?
Since there are only two sides to this conflict, the person or organization or government responsible to creating and then stoking this fire has to be either Islamic or Western.

Iran immediately comes to mind, since she has been deliberately poking the West in the political eye for a very long time now. Seemingly, several times a week, Iran issues a bellicose statement, either calling for Israel to be wiped off the map, or telling President Bush exactly where he can stuff his attack threats. Time and time again, Cutting Edge has pointed out that the Iranian leadership is not acting as afraid as you would expect a rich third world nation to act in the face of a superpower's threat; rather, Iran has been acting as if they knew they had a secret weapon which would render them impervious to the threats of the superpower.
Western Source?
The United States comes to mind as being capable of generating such a propaganda firestorm. Since we are saying we are going to attack Iran if she continues to produce enriched uranium, our government certainly has the capability of planting such cartoons in the Egyptian newspaper and then in the hands of this Danish Imam, in order to generate the firestorm of protests guaranteed to make Western people think so lowly of Islamic people that a general regional and/or global war against Islam is politically possible.

According to Army Radio, Tzahi Hanegbi (Kadima)said he would work against such a plan, while his Kadima colleague, former Shin Bet chief Avi Dichter expressed outright rejection of further withdrawals. Ministers from both Labor and Likud blasted Olmert's comments. Yitzhak Herzog of Labor called Olmert's speech a 'failed audition' and added that it sounded as if Olmert was repeating the platforms of other parties."
Indeed, Prime Minister Olmert is "repeating the platforms of other parties"! Consider the record:
* The "Liberal" Labor Party headed by Yitchak Rabin and Shimon Peres started the Oslo Peace Accord down the road to exactly the kind of settler withdrawals we are now seeing Israel carrying out.
* And, those policies were undertaken initially in the Gaza Strip last year by Prime Minister Sharon, head of the "Conservative" Likud Party.
* Right now, the Likud Party is headed by former Prime Minister Netanyahu, who is the ultimate Illuminati insider and who is thoroughly committed to the policy of withdrawal.
* When you examine the current leadership of the Labor Party, you will see Peretz as the leader, the man who voiced his support for the Oslo withdrawals the day after he officially became the head of the party.
* When Sharon withdrew from the Likud Party to form his centrist Kadima Party, he took with him a star-studded political cast of leaders, all of whom are as committed to withdrawal as Sharon and Peres and Rabin and Meretz and Netanyahu ever were.
Therefore, it does not matter what the current rhetoric is right now, because Israel is totally committed to the withdrawal of settlers from the West Bank. Period, end of paragraph!
Now, let us return to this news story, for more interesting detail.
"Olmert began painting in broad strokes on Tuesday where he thinks Israel's final border should eventually run, saying that the Jordan Valley, Gush Etzion, Ma'aleh Adumim and Ariel settlement blocs will remain a part of Israel. Olmert strayed very little from the parameters set by Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, who also envisioned Israel holding on to these areas in any final agreement with the Palestinians. 'We will separate from the majority of the Palestinian population that lives in Judea and Samaria, and it will obligate us to leave territories where Israel is today', Olmert said in a Channel 2 interview. 'We will move into central settlement blocks'. Olmert also said Israel would retain 'united Jerusalem'. Regarding the Jordan Valley, Olmert said that Israel couldn't give up on its eastern boundary."
This next segment provides more interesting detail.
"He said that the border he had in mind would not be the same as Israel's border today. He gave no indication of when or how those Jews not in the settlement blocks, estimated by Peace Now to be some 60,000 people, would be removed."
This number is on the lower end of the estimation we have been seeing regarding the precise number of Jewish settlers to be removed. The range we have been hearing is 60,000-80,000. We probably will not learn of the exact number until the withdrawal process is nearly completed.
Olmert even addressed the issue of the country's security barrier, which is running generally north-south along the West Bank border.
"Earlier in the day, during a tour of the security barrier in the Jerusalem area, Olmert also mentioned the settlement blocs. 'Even though the fence is a security one, my directive to those who are building it is that no matter what is done, it must be taken into consideration that Gush Etzion and Ma'ale Adumim will remain an integral part of the state of Israel in any future development s'. Olmert said that the fence was a security barrier, and its objective was to prevent terrorism. 'I am especially worried about the Jerusalem envelope, and it is on the top of the agenda, before everything else', He said. Olmert said that this year the government would make 'great efforts' to finish the fence as quickly as possible. He said that he was particularly concerned about the situation in Jerusalem, and that it was on top of the national agenda."
In the Fall, 2005, Prime Minister Sharon directed the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) to take the lead in finishing the security barrier, and told them that they faced no budget restraints. As every seasoned observer knows, the security barrier will only be partially successful in stopping Palestinian terror attacks. While the barrier has been fairly successful in stopping individuals from getting to Israeli civilian targets, it will not stop terrorist Kassam rocket attacks, as the Palestinians are gearing up to switch to that mode of attack once again.
The REAL objective of the national security barrier is to separate the populations -- Jewish from Palestinians. Please always keep that in mind.

The world received more indications last week that a Western attack on Iran
might not be in the works, after all.
1) Russia steps up her verbal and physical defense of Iran

'We concluded a contract for the supply of air-defence systems to Iran and there is no reason not to fulfil it', Mikhail Dmitriyev, the head of Russia's military-technical cooperation agency, told journalists here. Worth an estimated $700 million, the deal for up to 30 Tor M-1 surface-to-air missiles is the largest since Russia in 2000 withdrew from an agreement with the US restricting the supply of military hardware to Iran ... The weapon is effective against aircraft, cruise missiles and guided bombs. There was no indication when the systems would be shipped to Iran."
As I learned while serving in US Army Intelligence, whenever you see a government admit that they are about to deliver a new weapons system, you can bet heavily that this new weapons system has been in place for years. In this case, we know Russia completed a system of air defense around Iran which featured mobile radar tracking stations and state-of-the-art missile systems.
Additionally, Russia has Scalar Weaponry which would encase the whole country of Iran in an incredible protective bubble, through which no airplanes or missiles could ever penetrate. Once you understand the type of protection Russia can throw up over either Iran as a whole country or over the individual Iranian nuclear facilities, you can comprehend how improbable it is that non-scalar American weaponry can successfully attack these targets. The only Western nation capable of defeating the Russian scalar protective canopy is Israel, which has both Scalar and Quantum Potential Weapons. Were Israel to attack the Iranian facilities, we might see that attack passed off as coming from the Americans.

purchase scenario was fraudulent and that Iraq likely had no WMD.

At this point, this analysis article delves into the deliberately deceptive nature of the Bush White House, as it set firmly on its course to lie to the American people as to why Iraq "had to be invaded". Since the United Nations' IAEA agency had clearly told the world time and time again that there was no firm proof that Saddam really had weaponized WMD which he could deliver to the battlefield, the White House had to have known from the beginning that Iraq really possessed no WMD.

During the same CNN segment in which Wilson was interviewed, former United Nations weapons inspector David Albright made similar comments about the rationale for the Iraq war and added that he believed UN weapons inspectors should be given more time to search the country for weapons of mass destruction ... The officials said a 'binder' was sent to the Vice President's office that contained material that could be used by the White House to discredit Albright if he continued to comment on the administration's war plans. However, it's unclear whether Cheney or other White House officials used the information against Albright." (Ibid.)
What is a "Christian" White House doing? How could these White House
officials possibly "dig up dirt" against someone whose only crime
was disagreeing with Presidential policy, which itself was built upon the

the world has seen since Stalin and Hitler!
Now, let us return to this featured article for more interesting facts.

Ambassador Wilson was in real trouble when he "ridiculed the Bush administration's intelligence" saying that Iraq had purchased this yellowcake, a lie used to "prove" that Saddam was actively pursuing a WMD program. The clear problem with this story was that there was not one shred of proof, proving once again that a lie needs no basis of truth whatsoever. Propagandists know that, if a lie is spoken boldly and told often enough, people will start to believe it. For this reason, government programs of deception are carried out slowly, with a lot of continuous propaganda, so that, by the time the Illuminist leadership wants to carry out the lie, the people have been convinced.
Listen to the really strong language Ambassador Wilson used in the CNN interview:
" Well, this particular case is outrageous. I actually started my foreign service career in Niger and ended my foreign service career doing -- in charge of Africa in the Clinton White House. We know a lot about the uranium business in Niger, and for something like this to go unchallenged by U.S. -- the U.S. government is just simply stupid." (Ibid.)
However, Wilson knew even more than he could reveal during this CNN interview:
"What Wilson wasn't at liberty to disclose during that interview, because the information was still classified, was that he had personally traveled to Niger a year earlier on behalf of the CIA to investigate whether Iraq had in fact tried to purchase uranium from the African country. Cheney had asked the CIA in 2002 to look into the allegation, which turned out to be based on forged documents, but was included in President Bush's January 2003 State of the Union address nonetheless ... At this time, the international community, various media outlets, and the International Atomic Energy Association had called into question the veracity of the Niger documents. Mohammed ElBaradei, head of IAEA, told the UN Security Council on March 7, 2003, that the Niger documents were forgeries and could not be used to prove Iraq was a nuclear threat." (Ibid.)
Cutting Edge Ministries was very active during this final 2 weeks before the invasion, warning that the Bush Administration had not proven its contention that Saddam did, indeed, possess WMD that he could deliver to a target in 45 minutes, or any time period for that matter. Hadley is said to have known the Niger documents were crude forgeries, but pushed the administration to cite it as evidence that Iraq was a nuclear threat, according to the State Department officials, who said they personally told Hadley in a written report that the documents were bogus. The CIA and State Department officials said that a day after Wilson's March 8, 2003, CNN appearance, they attended a meeting at the Vice President's office chaired by Cheney, and it was there that a decision was made to discredit Wilson. Those who attended the meeting included I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, Cheney's former chief of staff who was indicted in October for lying to investigators, perjury and obstruction of justice related to his role in the Plame Wilson leak, Hadley, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove, and John Hannah, Cheney's deputy national security adviser, the officials said." One day, perhaps, the entire body of truth will emerge so that the American people will discover exactly the kind of President the Skull & Bones secret society has given the United States. 'By working together we stopped a catastrophic attack on our homeland' ... the president and his advisers have been vigorously defending the legality of the program, which has been questioned by both Democratic and Republican lawmakers. After weeks of insisting that divulging details of the monitoring program would hinder intelligence gathering, the White House relented Wednesday and began briefing some additional lawmakers."
Now we are getting closer to understanding why President Bush chose this moment to claim that his administration's use of the "spy work" gained by eavesdropping on American citizens has thwarted another "shoe bomber" threat which somehow would have been used to seize control of an American airliner so the terrorists could fly the plane into the "tallest skyscraper on the West Coast"!
The President showed complete disdain for the intelligence of the average American citizen by spinning this tall tale. Some questions come to mind, do they not?
1) How could terrorists using shoe bombs seize control of an aircraft from a crew specially trained in counter-terror tactics and gain entrance into a sealed cockpit?
2) The President offered no explanation as to how these terrorists could possibly have guided an airliner expertly enough to crash it into the tallest skyscraper on the West Coast.
3) Where were the Air Marshals which are supposed to fly on most airliner flights since the 9/11 attacks. Did the terrorists not fear an Air Marshall since they were armed with nothing but shoe bombs, supposedly designed to blow open the sealed cockpit doors?
The next news story shines an unusual light of truth upon this whole Presidential lie: the Los Angeles mayor knew nothing about this monstrous plot!

If the White House was truly battling a serious "Al-Qaeda" plot to commandeer a commercial airliner by using "shoe bombs" to blow open the sealed cockpit doors, someone would have surely contacted the Los Angeles mayor, if for no other reason than to enlist his support, for he would have significant law enforcement and special para-military resources he could throw behind the effort of the Federal Government.
How effective was the President in playing this "War On Terror Get Out of Jail Free Card"? Let us now go back to the original Breitbart News article:

Bush's propagandists truly do know what they are doing, and they know which hot buttons to push in order to appeal to a specific target group of citizens!

In a related story, Bush's Federal Government is trying to pry so deeply into
the affairs of average American citizens, our personal freedoms are truly
at risk! Remember, our Founding Fathers knew very well that
any dictatorial government must know the personal affairs of their population
if they are going to successfully implement and then maintain, a repressive
dictatorship! Therefore, our Fathers wrote tight Constitutional guarantees
of personal privacy.
But, since 9/11, President Bush has been steadily eroding these Constitutional protections. List to how deep and how pervasive the Bush Administration's surveillance program has grown to be.
NEWS BRIEF: "TSA Chief Suspends Traveler Registry Plans", By LESLIE MILLER, Associated Press Writer, reprinted by Breitbart News, February 9, 2006
"Security concerns have caused the government to suspend plans for an ambitious program to check every domestic airline passenger's name against government watch lists, Transportation Security Administration chief Kip Hawley said Thursday ... Hawley did not say whether any security flaws or breaches had been discovered. The program called Secure Flight has been troubled from the start."
'It is strongly opposed by civil libertarians who fear the program would grow into a massive domestic surveillance system in which the government tracks people whenever they travel ... Government auditors gave the project failing grades _ twice _ and rebuked its authors for secretly obtaining personal information about airline passengers."
Notice that the Bush Administration has already attempted to secretly obtain "personal information about airline passengers", for which government auditors "rebuked its authors". I warn you with all my heart that this Bush Administration is subverting our personal freedoms as quickly and as thoroughly as possible, using the attacks of 9/11 and the phantom "War On Terror" as the excuse.
Information on individual citizens is always of paramount importance to severely repressive dictatorships, and this coming one is no exception.
Now, let us go back to this article to see how much private information the government was trying to gain from this program.
"Currently, airlines check the names of passengers against watch lists that the government gives them. Under Secure Flight the government would take over from the airlines the task of checking names against watch lists. The Sept. 11 commission later urged the administration to expedite the task because, it said, the watch lists currently used by airlines aren't complete. But checking names against watch lists hasn't been as easy as it sounds, partly because airlines collect only limited information about passengers ... Also, the number of names on the watch lists increased into the tens of thousands since the Sept. 11 attacks. That problem has resulted in passengers from infants to Sen. Edward M. Kennedy being mistakenly told they couldn't fly because they have the same name as someone on the watch list." (Ibid.)
Now, that is a problem! The government is like a hungry dog when it comes to collecting information on citizens; it simply cannot get enough. Since this is the real reason the government is trying to take over control of the airliner passenger lists, we should not be too surprised to learn that their rationale for needing more information continually expands and changes, as revealed below.

Now that we know the Federal Government has a rapacious appetite for private information on its citizens, we should not be surprised by the following revelation:

What makes this massively intrusive program work? You will discover that Homeland Security is the driving force behind this terrifying program. Remember, the end goal of this Administration is exactly what the Illuminati has in mind: total dictatorial control. Our government leaders are Globalists, not Patriots, and they most definitely do not have our best personal interests at heart. They are brazenly using "terror" as the tool by which they are going to one day suspend our Constitution and all our liberties.
"The core of this effort is a little-known system called Analysis, Dissemination, Visualization, Insight, and Semantic Enhancement (ADVISE) ... ADVISE is a research and development program within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), part of its three-year-old 'Threat and Vulnerability, Testing and Assessment' portfolio ... A major part of ADVISE involves data-mining - or 'dataveillance', as some call it. It means sifting through data to look for patterns. If a supermarket finds that customers who buy cider also tend to buy fresh-baked bread, it might group the two together ... What sets ADVISE apart is its scope. It would collect a vast array of corporate and public online information - from financial records to CNN news stories - and cross-reference it against US intelligence and law-enforcement records. This next section is the one which can get a whole lot of honest Patriotic people in trouble and possibly in jail. This computer program is going to determine "motives and intentions" of "suspects"!
"But ADVISE and related DHS technologies aim to do much more, according to Joseph Kielman, manager of the TVTA portfolio. The key is not merely to identify terrorists, or sift for key words, but to identify critical patterns in data that illumine their motives and intentions..." (Ibid.)
None of this would have ever been possible without the attacks of 9/11 -- the greatest, most improbable lie ever sold!
