Two DVD's In One

I. President Bush slapped a legal action against Iran without warning which seems designed to build a legal case that would allow him to attack the Persian Kingdom.

The President's list of Islamic terrorists just grew by 125,000!

This action effectively "declares a state of war" between America and Iran!

NEWS BRIEF: "US plans to list Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps a “specially designated global terrorist”, DEBKAfile Intelligence, August 15, 2007

"This move is planned to coincide with the UN Security Council’s September meeting called to impose a third set of hitherto ineffectual sanctions on Iran for defying UN resolutions barring uranium enrichment. It would be the first time a US government has targeted the business operations and finances of a national military branch which is a part of the government of a UN member. DEBKAfile’s Iran sources note that the Bush administration would in effect be declaring economic war on Iran."

This action is unprecedented. Not only is it the first time the American government has targeted the business and finances of a fellow United Nations member! But, even more importantly, this seizure of Iranian assets on a flimsy basis is tantamount to declaring war on Iran! Can the actual bombs be far behind? Will Iran now be pressured into taking action it might not have taken otherwise?

This next segment addresses this concern:

"Iran will not pass up any chance of a harsh response, possibly by raising the military heat in Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon and the Gaza Strip or against American forces and US allies, especially Israel."

Therefore, President Bush's unilateral action here will not serve any useful purpose, because Iran can easily withstand any sanctions, since she is both an oil-rich exporter and because she is friends of oil-rich super-partners, Russia and China.

Let us return to this article, for Bush's punitive action contains some interesting loopholes!

"The Bush administration’s new order would be limited to enabling the blockage of RG assets in US financial institutions and banks and penalizing their foreign clients who do business with Tehran. It would not be binding on Iran’s leading trading partners, such as China, Russia, some of the Gulf emirates, Venezuela and Cuba, governments which sell the Islamic Republic arms and weapons technology in defiance of UN sanctions."

This next news story calls into question the soundness of President Bush's new order.

NEWS BRIEF: "US gambles on Iran's 'soldiers of terror': Declaration could deal a double blow to efforts to use diplomacy with Iran to stabilize Iraq", Asia Times, August 17, 2007

"WASHINGTON - The White House's plan to designate the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) a terrorist organization could deal a double blow to efforts to use diplomacy with Iran to stabilize Iraq ... the administration of President George W Bush is going to include the IRGC, Iran's 125,000-strong elite military branch, as a 'specially designated global terrorist' under Executive Order 13224, because of the organization's alleged destabilizing activities in Iraq and elsewhere in the Middle East. The designation would authorize the US to target the IRGC's business dealings, including blocking its assets. "

"The Bush administration's decision to label the IRGC as a global terrorist organization has been presented as a step to ratchet up pressure on Iran and intensify efforts to isolate the country financially."

This article then notes that Iran is unlikely to be adversely affected by this ruling, as it has been under American sanctions since the early 1990's! However, the most important effect of this order is probably political and could turn out to be military. For several months, Bush officials have been trying to gain Iran's support in stabilizing Iraq. This move from President Bush is most assuredly going to convince Iran that the President is not serious about negotiations, thus setting the stage for the war everyone is dreading.

This next article demonstrates that Iran is likely to react militarily to President Bush's order.

NEWS BRIEF: "Iran’s Revolutionary Guards chief hits back at US plan to list his force as terrorists", DEBKAfile Intelligence, August 15, 2007

"The RG commander Yahya Rahim Safavi said Wednesday that Iran’s 2,000km range missiles (capable of reaching Israel) could now be remote controlled ... Safavi also said his RG ground forces had missiles that could penetrate the armor plating fitted to Israel's Merkava and US Abrams tanks. He spoke the day after Iran’s Lebanese pawn, Hizballah’s Hassan Nasrallah, bragged about new weapons that would surprise Israel and change the course of a war and the face of the Middle East. The Iranian general went on to declare: 'Our coast-to-coast missiles can now reach the breadth and length of the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea and no warships can pass in the Persian Gulf without being in range of our coast-to-sea missiles'.”

"The RG commander did not say so, but his threatening boasts were undoubtedly Tehran’s response to Washington’s plan to list his force a specially designated global terrorist. This would be the first time the United States had designated the military force of a sovereign nation (as) terrorists and declared war on its business and financial operations."

For the benefit of our many readers, we should like to reiterate the truth that this entire Western effort to paint Iran as a nation trying to use her current nuclear power program as a means by which to enrich uranium so she can produce her own weapons is simply propaganda, for Iran has possessed nuclear weapons, and the delivery systems, since at least early 2002!

Therefore, when you hear President Bush, his advisers, members of Congress, and even heads of other countries, intone on and on about how dangerous Iran is to the world because of her nuclear program, you know that they are lying to you just as boldly as the President, his advisers, and his Cabinet members lied to you prior to the Iraq invasion.

Truly, Jesus was absolutely bold when He warned that the global Kingdom of Antichrist would be brought in by "Wars and Rumors of Wars".

II. As President Bush and Israeli Prime Minister Olmert push rapidly for the creation of a Palestinian State, are they willing to give up Israel's historic claims to the Temple Mount?

NEWS BRIEF: "Israel to give up Temple Mount?", By Aaron Klein, World Net Daily, August 17, 2007

"JERUSALEM -- Palestinian negotiators drafting an agreement behind the scenes with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's office have made clear they will not accept any final peace deal with Israel unless the Jewish state forfeits the Temple Mount, Judaism's holiest site ... Olmert is willing to discuss joint Israeli-Palestinian control over the Temple Mount complex."

Just the idea that these Liberal Jews now in charge of the state of Israel might be willing to give up sovereignty of the Temple Mount will be enough to drive Orthodox Jews and Fundamental Christians into an absolute dither. After all, God warned that He would bring into severe End Times judgment all those who would think of dividing His land.

Do you remember the Scripture?

Did you catch that statement? God is promising End Times judgment on people who have divided the Land of Israel! Certainly, the Illuminati Plan contained in the Oslo Accords to divide the land of Israel into Palestinian and Israeli states falls under this Divine condemnation.

President Bush is also displaying horribly rotten spiritual fruit in his major role in advancing this plan to create a Palestinian State by giving them some of the Biblical lands which God gave Ancient Israel. Genuine Christians must resist carving up God's lands, because our Bibles tell us how much God hates the very idea.

III. Syria continues to build up her military on the border with Israel. Israeli leadership now expects that Damascus is going to start launching missiles into northern Israel.

NEWS BRIEF: "Israel PM Olmert inspects preparedness of IDF northern command Tuesday following indications of Syrian plans to attack Golan Heights ", DEBKAfile Intelligence, August 16, 2007

"With him were defense minister Ehud Barak and chief of staff Lt. Gen. Gaby Ashkenazi. According to DEBKAfile’s military sources, intelligence data and signs on the ground add up to the presumption that Syria is planning a campaign of hit-and-run cross-border attacks against Israeli border patrols and positions in Golan and attempts to take hostages. OC Northern Command Maj. Gen. Gad Eisenkott and senior officers briefed the prime minister on their preparations in anticipation of such attacks."

Syria has studied the various Intifadas initiated and fought by Yassir Arafat and his right-hand man, Abbas - for the past 20 years. President Assad has concluded that Arafat's pattern provides the example as to how to defeat the Israeli foe. Rather than initiating full-scale conventional war, Assad believes he should begin the war by limited daily shellings and missile fire. Assad truly believes that, if this initial attack is small enough and kept small enough, Israel would not respond with an all-out attack, but would crumble to Arab demands, exactly the way it has caved in to the Palestinians for the past 25 years.

The "signs on the ground" indicate that Syria is getting close to beginning such a limited war, so the Israeli high command wanted to brief the Prime Minister, the Defense Minister, and other key Israeli officials.

To ensure that Syria's President understood that his limited attacks would provoke the huge Israeli response he has always feared, Israel issued a stern warning.

NEWS BRIEF: "IDF Will Invade Syria if Missiles Fly", Israel National News, August 12, 2007

"The IDF under Defense Minister Ehud Barak is planning a ground assault deep into Syrian territory if Syria attacks Israel with missiles, according to a report by Channel 10's military affairs correspondent. The reporter said Syria possesses thousands of missiles capable of hitting virtually any point within Israel. The only way to counter this threat, he said, would be to launch a swift strategic ground assault into Syria until the missile attack ceases."

While this report seems to send a clear signal to Syria that it had not better mess with Israel, the same Defense Minister Barak who sent this message then turned around five days later to send a message of weakness to an enemy actively preparing to attack. Incredible!

NEWS BRIEF: "Defense Minister Barak Blocks Civilian Gas Mask Distribution", Israel National News, August 17, 2007

"Defense Minister Ehud Barak has given an order to leave Israelis without working gas masks for fear that Syria would see the redistribution of masks as preparing for war ... Barak issued the directive despite the fact that Syria has built up a huge arsenal of missiles capable of holding biological and chemical warheads."

At least one Israeli leader knew the foolishness of Barak's decision of non-action; additionally, he knew history well enough to gauge just how foolish Barak's decision was.

"MK Yuval Steinitz (Likud) expressed outrage at Barak’s hindering of the protection of Israel’s citizens, saying it was 'reminiscent of Moshe Dayan’s decision not to call up the reserves in order not to upset the Syrians and Egyptians on the eve of the Yom Kippur War'.”

Lest you do not remember the Yom Kippur War of 1973, that is the one war which Israel came within 72 hours of losing! Had it not been for the heroic efforts of President Nixon to massively resupply an exhausted Israeli Defense Force, Israel would likely have been defeated and destroyed.

It is more than sobering to hear the same rationale being used by this current Defense Minister that nearly cost Israel her national life in 1973!

You can be that Syria and Iran understand the full significance of Defense Minister Barak's rationale for not fully protecting the Israeli citizenry. You see, Arab leaders realize that the best way to kill national Israel is to launch a war of attrition. Knowing there are only 7 million Jews versus 300 million Arabs, Arab leaders are willing to suffer 50% losses of population if they can eliminate the Jewish citizenry.

Barak's statements only play into that war of attrition thinking.

This next news story illustrates how Syria is actively preparing for war, aided by Russian arms so advanced that Syria is getting deployment even before Russian units receive them!

NEWS BRIEF: "Syria reportedly gets Russian SA-22s", The Jerusalem Post, August 18, 2007

"Syria has begun delivery of the first batch of anti-aircraft missile and gun range land-based Pantsyr-S1E defense systems (SA-22 E in NATO terminology) ... The SA-22 E, produced by KBP, a precision weaponry manufacturer based in Tula, Russia, is a combined surface-to-air missile and anti-aircraft artillery weapon system. The versatile platform can be mounted either on a tracked or wheeled vehicle."

"According to Nezavisimaya Gazeta, the recently developed SA-22 E will be dispatched to Syria even before its deployment in the Russian military."

Syria is, therefore, counting on being able to blunt any Israeli attack into Syria with advanced systems like this anti-aircraft defense.

Since Syria has received this system before the Russian military, one has to ask whether Russian soldiers are manning these systems in Syria. If they are, then an Israeli attack becomes far more problematic, as Russia could very well react strongly to her soldiers getting killed.

Tensions for the coming war have most definitely ratched upward with this latest Russian deployment.

At least some Israeli leaders are preparing for a tough war.

IV. Israel continues to prepare for "worst-case scenario".

NEWS BRIEF: "One year later, Northern Israel prepares for worst-case scenario", The Jerusalem Post, August 14, 2007

"Although Syrian President Bashir Assad was talking peace on Tuesday, emergency response organizations in the North were preparing for the worst, discussing contingency plans for 'the next war' ... the IDF and Israel Police co-sponsored a one-day conference in Nazareth on the region's preparedness ... In his report, Lindenstrauss had cited the collapse of some local authorities during the war and their inability to provide vital social services during a time of emergency."

If the Israeli home front is this disorganized, can Syria, Iran, Hizbullah, Hamas, and Egypt be blamed for literally salivating over the perceived weaknesses in Israel right now? Let us list some of these perceived weaknesses:

1) The IDF did not win the 2006 Lebanon War, so the Arabs are saying that they won it.

2) The IDF acknowledged that many of their front-line units were ill-trained and warned that it would take 2 years to correct this deficiency!

3) The Winograd Report on the 2006 Lebanon War blamed the current Olmert administration for being indecisive and weak willed. Olmert continues to lead Israel.

4) Several front-line IDF generals resigned in disgrace.

5) The Winograd Report said that the Israeli people were dispirited and were not ready to fight.

Can you now understand why significant Syrian Army units marched right up to the Golan Heights border the day after the Winograd Report was made public?

War signs continue to abound:

NEWS BRIEF: "War tensions rise between Syria and Israel", DEBKAfile Intelligence, August 16, 2007

"DEBKAfile’s military sources report that the delay in Maj. Gen. Moshe Kaplinsky’s scheduled departure as Deputy Chief of Staff ... is connected with the war tensions on Israel’s northern and Gaza borders and renewed threats from Iran. Defense minister Ehud Barak and chief of staff Lt. Gen. Gabby Ashkenazi prefer to keep in harness at this time a general with experience in managing warfronts."

This last sentence, above, implies that the IDF is short of generals "with experience in managing warfronts".

"... intelligence data and ground activity add up to the presumption that Syria is planning a campaign of hit-and-run cross-border attacks against Israeli border patrols and positions in Golan and attempts to take hostages .... senior officers briefed the prime minister on their preparations in anticipation of such attacks ... scenarios examined by Israeli policy-makers during the prime minister’s visit therefore postulated a war of attrition starting later this year and going on for months. Charting how this war will unfold is chancy because some unforeseen circumstance could potentially blow it up suddenly into a full-scale war."

Some Israeli defense officials want Prime Minister Olmert to order preemptive strikes which could neutralize Syria's war preparations before missiles start raining down upon population centers. Olmert has taken the matter under "advisement".

V. Top American leadership finally admitted that the American military is stretched too thin, and worry about would happen if other wars broke out simultaneously in the world.

NEWS BRIEF: "US is stretched too thin, top general worries", By Donald Kirk, Asia Times, August 17, 2007

"WASHINGTON - US forces are stretched perilously thin from the Middle East to Northeast Asia, and top-level US military planners are trying to do something before yet another conflict flares up beyond the strength and ability of the Pentagon to do anything about it. That's the central message of General George W Casey Jr, installed as army chief of staff in April after nearly three years as commander of US forces in Iraq and just back from another quick look at the country."

These words are ominous. All during the Cold War, American defense planning envisioned keeping the military capable of fighting "2 and 1/2" wars at once. In other words, the US military wanted the power and the ready resources to fight two major wars in different parts of the world, and still have enough resources to successfully fight an insurgency -- all at the same time.

However, our military today is incapable of fighting even one more conflict in the world. Listen further to General Casey:

"Casey, talking at the National Press Club in Washington, admitted that 'today's army is out of balance' with 'soldiers stretched by the demands of the present deployment' ... The crux of the problem ... is that the United States may not have enough manpower to wage very different types of war on far-removed fronts ... more than 160,000 troops are pinned down in a war that shows no sign of ending in Iraq ..."

"Behind the verbiage was the realization that US forces in Iraq are tiring, that the army is having trouble finding volunteers, and that the Pentagon is in danger of seriously avoiding or overlooking problems elsewhere."

Can you see the Arab leadership salivating even more? In the same time frame in which Israel seemingly has so many weaknesses and deficiencies, Israel's Number One ally, the United States, is also riddled with weaknesses, starting with an Army said to be tired, and equipment said to be either lacking or in bad repair.

And, of course, America is stuck in the "quagmire" known as the Iraqi War -- Operation "Enduring Freedom".

Now seems the time to attack Western interests throughout the Middle East, starting with Israel.

Against this troubling backdrop, the top American general in Iraq is preparing his report to Congress on September 15.

NEWS BRIEF: "General Petraeus paves the way for US troop withdrawals next year", Times Online, August 16, 2007

"The US general overseeing President Bush’s surge strategy in Iraq said last night that he would recommend troop reductions by next summer ... in comments that appeared to lay the ground for his pivotal report to the US Congress next month, said that the US footprint in Iraq would have to be 'a good bit smaller by next summer'. But he also signaled that the surge would continue into next year, and gave warning against a quick or hefty withdrawal that could surrender 'the gains we have fought so hard to achieve'."

I post 50-75 news articles every single day, and cannot understand what the general is referring to when he says, "'the gains we have fought so hard to achieve". What gains? Every time the American leadership starts talking about "gains" or "progress", the Iraqi insurgency attacks even more viciously, demonstrating that all the American power has achieved nothing.

Therefore, as we have demonstrated, Pentagon officials are admitting that American forces are stretched too thin to really fight another war in another part of the world. These truly are troubling times. Don't think the enemies of America are unaware of the strategic disaster facing the United States right now.

Perhaps because American forces are stretched too thin, China and Russia have started mocking American leadership.

NEWS BRIEF: "China and Russia Begin Teasing Washington" , Arab News, August 14, 2007

"Moscow and Beijing have teamed up and appear determined to send a message to the White House, singly and together, which translated could mean, 'Don’t mess with us' and 'Stay clear of our allies' ... This comes hard on the heels of a not subtle Chinese threat to the American economy. Last week, two Chinese officials made statements, which did nothing to settle market jitters."

"In essence, they warned the US to quit pressuring China to revalue its yuan or else it could decide to dump its dollar reserves, worth $1,330 billion and cash in its US Treasury bonds, roughly valued at $900 billion. In the unlikely event of China following through on the implied threat, the ensuing economic carnage could make the 1929 Wall Street Crash look like a picnic because other countries would be panicked into following suit. Incredibly, some 45 percent of America’s foreign debt is held by foreigners, which leaves the US in an extremely vulnerable position."

Is this type of weakness the real reason President Bush has repeatedly huffed and puffed against Iran, threatening to blow their house down, only to silently retreat after the public rhetoric has run its course?

Is this American weakness the real reason the President of Iran recently said that America did not have the capability to attack his nation?

VI. Even as American forces launched a new military offensive, insurgents struck hard, killing numerous American soldiers, but most importantly, setting a new one-day record for deaths and injuries of Iraqi civilians.

These attacks go a long way toward proving that no "progress" has been made in the Iraq War, despite Bush Administration claims to the contrary.

NEWS BRIEF: "Blasts may have killed up to 500", By Leila Fadeland Yasseen Taha, MCCLATCHY NEWSPAPERS, reprinted in the St. Louis Today, August 16, 2007

"BAGHDAD — Officials said Wednesday that as many as 500 people probably were killed in a series of coordinated truck bombings that devastated two northern Iraqi villages Tuesday and set a record for mass carnage in war-torn Iraq ... The confirmed death toll was at least 250 and climbing, officials said. Five hundred more were wounded, many critically. More than 100 one-story homes and shops were destroyed by the blasts."

As of the time this newsletter went to print, the confirmed death toll had risen to 500.

As the segment above says, this attack set a new record for "mass carnage in war-torn Iraq". While American soldiers launch a new campaign in one area of Iraq, the insurgency strikes in another area. Several months ago, an editorial stated that the largest weakness of the American "surge" campaign is that her army did not have enough manpower to station troops at every intersection in Baghdad, let alone in Iraq! This weakness is inherent in every guerilla campaign, but it is now being intensely felt throughout Iraq.

"Ziryan Othman, Health Minister for the Kurdistan region, likened the devastation to a natural disaster. 'What took place in Tal al-Azizziyah and Sheikh Khadar was a vast volcano, in humanitarian terms, that shook the area', he said... US officials blamed al-Qa'ida in Iraq, a Sunni Muslim extremist group that has targeted US troops, Iraqi government forces and Shia Muslim civilians."

"Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, a Shi'ite, blamed Sunni extremists. Kurdish officials said the blast was part of the jockeying between Kurds and Arabs for control of northern Iraq ... Many said the blast appeared to be the latest spasm in a feud that erupted earlier this year when members of Iraq's non-Muslim Yazidi ethnic minority stoned to death a teenage girl accused of dating a Sunni Arab man and converting to Islam."

Indeed, it does appear that a "war within a war" is now being fought in Iraq. People of minority religious sects are being targeted for murder by the larger, more dominant religion. Let us first examine the sect against which this horrific bombing was aimed.

NEWS BRIEF: "Misunderstood and much maligned: Yazidis sect suffers the stain of Satan", Times Online, August 16, 2007

"Often derided by their Muslim neighbours as peacock-loving, lettuce-dodging devil worshippers, the Yazidi are one of Iraq’s more ancient and mysterious sects whose beliefs have long been misunderstood and maligned by the uninitiated ... the Yazidi have kept alight traditions that date back at least to the days of Zoroaster about 2,500 years ago. Throughout the ages their beliefs have mingled with the credos of their neighbours, especially Muslims, adding to misunderstandings about what they really believe."

"The international Yazidi community is believed to number between 100,000 and 400,000, often living in an uneasy co-existence with their Muslim neighbours ... In April a Yazidi girl who married a Muslim and converted to Islam was stoned to death by her community, a murder that was caught by a witness on camera. In retaliation Muslim gunmen murdered 23 Yazidi workers, and about 800 Yazidi students fled Mosul university in fear of reprisals. Tensions between the two communities have been escalating since."

This earlier news article demonstrates the larger war on smaller religious sects.

NEWS BRIEF: "Crushing Iraq's human mosaic: Minorities are suffering a persecution at times verging on genocide", BBC News, 13 July 2007

"Iraq's minorities are suffering a persecution at times verging on genocide, a campaigning Iraqi MP has told the BBC News website ... He says that his own community, the Shabaks of the Nineveh Plains, face oblivion as a people, targeted physically by al-Qaeda militants because they are mainly Shia, and politically by Kurdish separatists with claims on their land. Dr Qaddo is in London as part of a campaign by the UK-based advocacy group Minority Rights Group International to raise awareness of the crisis gripping Iraq's lesser-known peoples while the big three - the Shia and Sunni Arabs and the Kurds - pursue their own interests."

As an article, below, illustrates, American officials knew before the invasion that the likely result would be a severe splintering of Iraq's numerous religious groups, culminating a most bloody civil war. Sadly, this scenario has become reality.

"Egyptian-Masonic Connection"

VII. A video originally aired 13 years ago is causing unbelievable controversy, as Dick Cheney admitted then that an American invasion of Iraq would cause an unmitigated disaster, ending with the country being split into various warring factions.

NEWS BRIEF: "Cheney video causing uproar", by Reinout van Wagtendonk and Louise Dunne, Radio Netherlands, 14-08-2007

"Comments made back in 1994 by .... Dick Cheney about Iraq are causing an uproar in America. In a videotaped interview, the current Vice-President explains why he thinks an invasion would be a bad idea. The video has come to light on the same day US troops in Iraq launched a new offensive - Operation Phantom Strike. The video is a gift to opponents of the Iraq war - and they've seized on it with delight. Dick Cheney, warning 13 years ago why launching an invasion of Saddam Hussein's Iraq could only lead to disaster.

" 'Ah, once you got to Iraq and took it over, and took down Saddam Hussein's government, then what are you going to put in its place? That's a very volatile part of the world and if you take down the central government in Iraq, you can easily end up seeing pieces of Iraq fly off'."

So, American leadership knew 13 years ago that an invasion would topple Saddam Hussein, and then would split the country into many warring pieces. Further, Republican Cheney knew that an invasion of Iraq would produce a disaster!

VIII. As the war continues to go badly for the Bush Administration, news stories emerged last week which asked an extremely pertinent question: who is benefiting -- profiting -- from this war, or any war for that matter?

But, this is only one type of Budget. The bloated budget which shovels truckloads of cash into Republican friends in the defense industry.

The other type of budget is for the guys and gals on the ground actually fighting the enemy. How is their budget fairing?

"A tale of two budgets -- The first is bursting with billions for new fighter planes, nuclear-powered submarines and ballistic missile components. This is the budget that has propelled spiraling profits for weapons manufacturing companies like Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman. The other military budget is plagued with belt-tightening ... The army suffered a $530 million shortfall in 2006 that led to cuts at military hospitals and no new money for medical research on key procedures like dealing with traumatic brain injuries - the signature of the improvised-explosive-device war in Iraq."

One would think that President Bush's supposed opponents -- the Democrats -- would be jumping all over the President for this total lack of caring for our brave soldiers. After all the President sent these brave Americans to fight an enemy so weak that Bush and his advisers spent two years deliberately building up the case to the American people as to why he needed to invade this third-world nation!

But, that is not the case, as the Democrats are seeking to line their nest eggs with military money too!

Talk to any honest former soldier, and he will tell you that America's military leadership views the average soldier as an expendable, "throw-away" soldier. Sad, but true. The only true allegiance which Democrat and Republican feel as they lead the world into the New World Order is loyalty to their own pocketbook and to the defense contractors which supply that money.

Jesus is evermore watching the erection of His spiritual temple, that it may be built securely and well. We are for haste, but Jesus is for judgment. He will use the plummet, and that which is out of line must come down, every stone of it. Hence the failure of many a flattering work, the overthrow of many a glittering profession. It is not for us to judge the Lord's church, since Jesus has a steady hand, and a true eye, and can use the plummet well. Do we not rejoice to see judgment left to Him?
