I. The Mayor of Houston, Texas, is demanding that all pastors submit their sermons to her office to see if they reflect the proper official position on gay / lesbian issues!

Has official persecution / censorship of Christian Churches ready to begin?

"The mayor of Houston is a lesbian “married” (in California) to another female so that is a big problem; however, now her honor wants local pastors to submit their sermons to the city to ascertain whether or not they took a position on the city ordinance permitting transgenders to use any restroom of their choice!"

Adolf Hitler used this tactic to force German churches to submit their will to his. Hitler also sent SS officers to sit in a front pew to hear the pastor preach. If they did not like his sermon, he could quickly find himself in prison. This tactic was very intimidating and very effective.

Returning to Houston, Texas:

"What unmitigated gall. What incredible stupidity. What an insane, illegal, and impudent demand. If I were a Houston pastor I would make it very clear about my reaction. I will assume to be the pastor of a Baptist Church in Houston.

I would tell the mayor that I will not obey her subpoena and submit my sermons to her or anyone! Period. That means 'never', even if ordered to comply by the U.S. Supreme Court, the Department of Justice or even the President of the United States ... President Obama signed the U.N. Declaration on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity and even hosted in the White House (that’s our house) the first meeting with transgender activists! Furthermore, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission ruled last year that 'gender identity or expression' in the workplace is protected under federal civil rights law!"

I believe that this action from the Houston mayor may represent the first attempt by radical Liberals / Leftists / Sexual Activists, to bring American Christian Churches under their very legalistic control.

We Christians have long known that such persecution is coming in America. This incident seems ideally suited to start that process of marginalizing Christians and then putting them in jail for refusing to act or to speak contrary to God's Word.

II. Right on cue after the Ebola Virus bursts on to the world scene, a highly ranking medical doctor tells us that we need to "rethink disease control'.

As we earlier stated, fear of Ebola is going to scare many citizens and make them more agreeable to further restrictions on our rights and our movements.

"The case of a Dallas nurse who contracted Ebola while caring for a dying Liberian patient shows that the United States needs to rethink how it handles highly infectious diseases as an outbreak of the deadly virus spreads beyond west Africa ... Dr. Tom Frieden, director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said health authorities are still investigating how the nurse became infected while caring for Thomas Eric Duncan in an isolation ward at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital."

The fear of Ebola is spreading exponentially, far faster and far wider than the disease will likely ever spread. Fear is almost as strong a motivation tool that the actual disease itself. Years ago, we posted articles along this line:

III. Unbelievably, Ebola Halloween costumes are hitting retailer's shelves!

Too many people revel in horror and death. Remember what God warned: "They who hate me love and court death".

Halloween has been increasing dramatically in sales during the past several decades. As more and more people move outside even nominal Christian influence, their hearts and emotions are easily swayed by the evil one, Satan.

I have been watching the popularity of Halloween skyrocket for some time now, believing that this one night of the year dedicated to the love of Satan is representative of the collective spiritual condition of this country.

I wonder when the time will come when human sacrifice is openly carried out by open Satanists in Time Square on Halloween night? When this happens, Antichrist will probably have just arrived on the world scene.

God warned of this time many thousands of years ago.

"... But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love (and court) death." (Proverbs 8:36)

America is headed exactly toward the condition God describes in Revelation 18 of that End Times' Economic Babylon which dominates the world.

"Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird ... her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities." (Revelation 18:2, 5)

God is calling His people out of this wicked system:

"Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." (Revelation 18:4)

Are you listening? The time to "come out" from this wicked system called America is NOW, while today is still called "Grace". Don't delay.

IV. After Russian President Putin has annexed Crimea, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia, in his Supernation #5, also called the Eurasian Economic Union, he is now setting his sights on other nations.

Ukraine continues to resist Russia's attempt to pull her into this supernation because too many of her people remember that Russian dictator Josef Stalin murdered 37 million farmers!

They want nothing to do with Russia, ever again.

"Unlike Ukraine, all three Baltic states are NATO members."

As the map of the planned ten supernations demonstrates, these countries are supposed to align with Russia and her Supernation #5, the Eurasian Economic Union.

If Russia decides to pick a fight with NATO and if NATO decides to resist Russian pressure, then the stage could be set for a protracted non-military war that could last for years.

But, I suspect that a deal will be reached that will hand these countries over to Russian control on a silver platter. After all, we know that Revelation 17:17 foretold 2,000 years ago that the final 19 super-kings of the Age would be secretly cooperating!

"And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings ... For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree (act in harmony, cooperate), and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled." (Revelation 17:12, 17)

Remember, no matter how much the Mass Media paints a picture of the top leaders of the top countries being at loggerheads, the reality is far, far different! America's Obama, Russia's Putin, China's President and Japan's Prime Minister are all cooperating silently, far beneath the surface of world events.

Once you understand this reality, you will never look at the news the same way again!
