I. Is the "Final Countdown To Eternity" starting to occur within Israel right now?

If this story is correct, then Israel's implacable enemies must be salivating, waiting for just the right moment to attack.

"This year will mark the First Lebanon War’s 30th anniversary and the Second Lebanon War’s sixth anniversary ... nothing has changed in the past three decades. The sea is the same ... The Arabs are the same Arabs ... The cause for concern, and this is certainly up to us, is that the IDF is the same IDF – hollow, undertrained and ill prepared. "

Two years ago, I received a phone call from a Cutting Edge subscriber living in Israel, with whom I had been working since April, 2003. She was a doctor, having received her initial training in the Israeli Defense Force and then later working for many years in a civilian hospital. Her husband was in the IDF and held a Top Secret security clearance. They both retired at the same time and had bought a nice, comfortable home in Tel Aviv. Both she and her husband are born again Christians.

But, she was calling me from Hawaii! She told me that the security situation within Israel was deteriorating so badly that it was simply a matter of time - a short time - before all-out war breaks out between Israel and her surrounding Arab neighbors. Because the enemy has encircled tiny Israel with over 100,000 missiles, devastation within the Jewish State was predicted within top circles of the IDF! Such missile numbers would quickly overwhelm the Arrow anti-missile system, leaving Israel devastated. After reviewing all End Times prophecies, and current events, this Israeli couple sold their home in Tel Aviv and moved to Hawaii. That was two years ago.

The rest of this article may signal the beginning of these horrific events. Remember, Israel is facing unprecedented prophetic trouble and devastation , a time known as "Jacob's Trouble", a period in which Michael, the Archangel of Israel, has to spring to her defense in order to keep the Jewish State from annihilation. Now, let us return to this email.

"This week, Yedioth Ahronoth published a letter by regiment commanders. The first part settled the score with the government and Knesset for breaking all the promises made to IDF reservists. The government made loud declarations, pledged and finalized benefits and concessions – yet none of them was implemented ... the concerning part refers to the organization as a whole. The regiment commanders reported a shortage in training days; they don’t know their own soldiers, and their soldiers are unfamiliar with the weapons in their possession. "

If the IDF is truly hollow, war may be very close, as Israel's enemies appear to be making first strike preparations.

When the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood government violated the 1979 Peace Accord with Israel by moving armored military units into the Sinai a few weeks ago, I knew their move was a definite "war sign". With Israel approaching the time of her annual feast days, it is prudent for her military leaders to prepare for possible war.

Remember, in 1973, Arab nations led by Egypt launched a war on Yom Kippur, the most solemn and holy feast days in the Jewish calendar. And, the war nearly succeeded in destroying Israel. Egyptian and Syrian forces crossed cease fire lines to enter the Israeli-held Sinai Peninsula and Golan Heights respectively, which had been captured and occupied since the 1967 Six-Day War. Both the United States and the Soviet Union initiated massive resupply efforts to their respective allies during the war, and this led to a near-confrontation between the two nuclear superpowers.

The 1973 Yom Kippur War was a frightening time for the entire world. Can another war erupt during this Yom Kippur feast time? Israeli leadership may think so.

Is it possible that Israel is preparing her armed forces for war? She certainly cannot afford to be caught unawares like she was in 1973.

So, with whom is Israel preparing to go to war against? Many people within Israel believe she is going to war against Iran, to wipe out her nuclear facilities. However, we have been successfully arguing since Summer, 2003, that an attack on Iran is prohibited by the prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39. Rather than using this space to put forth our argument, please take a few moments to read NEWS2120, entitled, "NUCLEAR ARMED IRAN VS. NUCLEAR ARMED AMERICA -- WHOM SHOULD THE WORLD FEAR?"

If Israel is not preparing to go to war against Iran, against whom is she preparing? We believe the time may be here for the annihilation of Damascus to occur. Listen to the Biblical judgment God levied on Damascus, capital of Syria. In Isaiah 17:1, God pronounces judgment upon the capitol of Syria, Damascus,

"The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap."

This prophecy has never been fulfilled. In fact, Damascus is known among historians as being the longest continuously occupied city in world history. There has never been a time when Damascus has not existed. Yet, here we have this Godly judgment against this city, a physical destruction so great that it stops being a city, becoming a heap of ruins.

With the planned overthrow of President Assad of Syria, heading into its last stages, it is possible that Assad might attempt an attack against Israel as his final parting shot. If this occurs, we may very well see Damascus being turned into "a ruinous heap".

We are certain that these war preparations will not explode into the final regional conflagration which shall trigger the World War III which produces Antichrist, because the 10 supernations are not nearly formed yet. (Read full details in NEWS2163).

However, the prophesied annihilation of Damascus may be on the horizon.

II. The relentless Islamic violence sweeping Northern Africa and the Middle East may truly ruin President Obama's four years of pro-Islamic policy.

Now that the President has pandered to the Muslims for four years, this violence may convince many voters that he does not know what he is doing.

"The real meaning of the violence of the last week across the Muslim world is the bankruptcy and collapse of the Obama strategy which began with his speech in Cairo. President Obama had a deep conviction that pandering to Islamic sympathies, identifying with the virtues of Islam and parroting phrases that sounded good would lead to a deeper acceptance of the United States by Muslims."

But, while the President is stooping down to appease these Islamic radicals, he is simultaneously ratcheting up the killing of Islamic terrorists through the drone wars.

"It apparently did not occur to the Obama team that the enemy could and would react. The killing of the American ambassador to Libya was apparently a direct retaliation for the American killing in Pakistan of a Libyan senior al Qaeda commander ... In their (Obama's) ideology it is much safer for America to be the bad guys. Then we can excuse the violence, the attack on embassies, the burning of the American flag, the destruction of American businesses and American schools. In the Obama-elite media worldview that is all somehow the result of American provocation. 'If only some American hadn’t made a bad movie, everything would be ok', is the view the Obama administration and the elite media has exuded."

We can understand that President Obama would want to blame a bad reaction to an anti-Islamic movie rather than to admit that his senseless drone war against Islamic forces in Pakistan, Yemen and the Sudan might be the reason these embassy attacks are now occurring. Now that we know the true reason Islamic radicals are attacking our embassies, we can also understand why they are using military grade weapons.

Officials of the new Libyan government adamantly deny that these attacks were carried out because anger over a silly documentary.

"al Qaeda has asserted the attack on the American ambassador to Libya was a revenge killing. Senior Libyan officials have rejected the idea that the Benghazi violence was caused by the anti-Muslim film. They see no relationship between the Egyptian riots against the film and the team of killers who tracked down Ambassador Chris Stevens."

"The Obama administration is desperate to avoid linkage between predator strikes in Pakistan and the deliberate revenge killing in Benghazi. That would undermine all their assertions about the collapse of al Qaeda. It would bring into doubt their claims for an Arab Spring democracy movement. If this is an act of war ... then all the Obama and media assertions about 'senseless violence' begin to look as shallow, silly and self-deceiving as they are."

President Obama has continued the Bush war against terror throughout this entire region, to the point where he has dramatically increased the deadly drone strikes. He may have a military counterattack on his hands. If this is the case, he had better "act strongly Presidential". If his reaction is weak, his re-election chances may die along with the American ambassador.

Two other massive ice shelves along the Antarctic Peninsula had suffered similar fates a few years before. The events became poster children for the effects of global warming. … There’s no question that unusually warm air triggered the final demise of these huge chunks of ice.”

Thus, the propaganda machine is cranking up to disguise the truth of what is really occurring: the earth is simply going through a normal climate change, as it has for many, many centuries.

The New World Order people must be in a panic over this truth, because they want a global climate crisis to help them achieve their coveted global New World Order. Maybe someone should contact Al Gore after all, to rub his nose in the truth. Thank God we can still ferret out the truth in alternative news websites. Once the government shuts that source off, mankind is truly in prophetic trouble.
