I. Palestinian Rocket fire greeted President Obama as Air Force One was touching down in Israel.

"Two-State Solution" is most definitely the top item on the diplomatic agenda!

NEWS BRIEF: "Rockets hit Israel as Obama pushes peace on Mideast tour", CTV News, March 21, 2013

"U.S. President Barack Obama is meeting Palestinian officials on the second day of his Mideast tour to emphasize the importance of reaching an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal, a message underscored Thursday when Palestinian militants in Gaza launched rockets into southern Israel."

Palestinian strategists evidently felt that the best "greeting" they could give the President of the United States as he was landing in Israel was a significant rocket barrage from the Gaza Strip. After all, if they gave the President a picture of the conflict which may arise if a Palestinian State were not declared, he might be more willing to force Israel into the compromises needed to create such a nation.

"After a visit to Israel's national museum ... Obama headed to the West Bank to tell the Palestinians that the creation of a Palestinian state remains a priority for his administration."

Obama has repeatedly stated that he will not propose any new initiatives but will attempt to persuade each side to avoid unilateral actions which make negotiations virtually impossible. Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu stated his support of a "two-state solution", which is diplomatic jargon for a Palestinian State.

However, the White House has added fuel to the fire in this issue of creating a Palestinian State. It has just issued a map of Israel which is missing several key areas! Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the Golan Heights are missing!

"TEL AVIV – The White House has released what it says is a map of Israel. The only problem is that Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the Golan Heights are missing. An Obama administration video highlighting the president’s plans for his Mideast trip depicts Jerusalem, the Golan and the West Bank – also known as Judea and Samaria – as non-Israeli territory."

This map did not come from a Palestinian leader, but from the President of the United States, supposedly one of Israel's most enthusiastic supporters. Once again, actions speak louder than words, and this map is simply screaming for Israel to give up this territory. However, in the past 20 years, Israel has offered to give up this type of territory in exchange for peace between Jew and Palestinian.

And, each time, the Palestinians have abruptly terminated the negotiation and have launched war. Let us review this sad history now.

If you are a long-term Cutting Edge reader and supporter, all this diplomatic fever must seem like a never-ending nightmare. Presidents Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Clinton and both Bushes have all attempted to successfully negotiate a Palestinian State. Do you remember Henry Kissinger's "shuttle diplomacy" as he flew from Cairo to Tel Aviv and back again and back again and back again, trying to forge an agreement giving the Palestinians their state? Kissinger carried out this type of intense negotiations from November, 1973, to 1977 and he was rebuffed by the Palestinians at every turn.

Let us now review some of the other failed "negotiations" to carve a Palestinian State out of the Ancient Biblical lands of Israel.

NEWS BRIEF: "Attention Livni and Obama: Six Failed Peace Agreements Already", Israel National News, March 13, 2013

"The PA's current behavior, failure to live up to its promises and its insistence on a winner-take-all solution using indiscriminate terrorism to achieve its objectives, rests on a long tradition of rejectionism. between 1993 and 2001, the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and the Palestinian Authority (PA) signed six agreements with Israel and conducted countless meetings and summits to bring about a lasting peace between them."

"Each Israeli concession was met with Palestinian non-compliance and escalating violence. Six times, Palestinians failed to honor their commitments and increased their anti-Israeli aggressions. Finally, they broke every promise they made and began an all-out guerrilla war against Israel and its citizens."

1) 1979 - The Camp David Accords

This agreement was the only one which brought peace because it was made between the Egyptians and Israel, not by the Palestinians. However, President Anwar Sadat gave his life for this agreement as he was assassinated on October 6, 1981. Mubarak took over the reins from Sadat and forced a reluctant Egypt to abide by the agreement. The Palestinian leadership, though, repeatedly rejected the Camp David Accords.

2) 1991 - Madrid Conference

"The 1991 Madrid Conference marked an important step forward: Israelis and Arabs met face-to-face. For decades, the Arabs had refused to meet with Israelis, their sworn enemies, in face-to-face negotiations. Little real progress was made ... Held at the royal palace in Madrid, Spain, between October 30 and November 1, 1991, all parties accepted the 1979 Camp David Accords and two UN resolutions: 242 – which set forth the principle of “land for peace,” and 338 – which called for “direct negotiations” as the framework for talks."

"The Madrid Conference put in motion the process that led to a peace treaty between Jordan and Israel, but it ultimately failed to produce results on the Lebanese, Syrian, or Palestinian tracks ... Although Israel was willing to discuss limited self-rule for the Palestinians in the Territories, Palestinian Arab delegates demanded full sovereignty over all of Judea, Samaria and Gaza. However, they lacked authorization to speak for all Palestinian Arabs and were given no latitude to deviate from the PLO’s hard-line positions."

3) 1993 - The Oslo Accords

"The 1993 Oslo Accords marked a potential turning point, which dead-ended when the Palestinian Arabs refused to live up to their commitments and held to their zero-sum hard line, rejecting the very notion of compromise ... In retrospect, it is evident that the PLO was not earnestly seeking compromise; it was only seeking a better base from which to continue attacking Israel ... Israel faced a “Trojan Horse,” an ancient metaphor borrowed by PLO leaders while still in Tunis. The Palestinians’ real intention was to destroy Israel, stage-by-stage, using the Palestinian Authority to establish a platform from which they could attack Israel. The scope of Palestinian terrorism following Oslo escalated to unprecedented levels including systematic targeting of civilians in wave after wave of suicide bombings. Incredibly, the number of Israelis killed by terrorists in the two years following the signing of 'Oslo I' was equal to the number of casualties from terrorism in the preceding decade."

4) 1994 - The Jordanian-Israeli Peace Treaty

"The 1994 Jordanian-Israeli Peace Treaty was made possible by the sense of optimism created by Oslo. But the momentum did not carry over into peace agreements with Syria, Lebanon … or the Palestinians ... "

5) 1995 - The Taba Agreement (“Oslo II”)

'Despite the Palestinian Authority’s failure to honor its commitments in “Oslo I,” Israel decided to give the Palestinians a second chance in 1995 in Taba, with an additional agreement (“Oslo II”) to concede territory and move the peace process forward. The Palestinians responded by escalating terrorism and adding new violations to a mounting list of unfulfilled promises."

6) 1997-2001 -- Five More Attempts to ‘Make Oslo Work’

"From January 1997 through August 2000, five more attempts to make Oslo work. They included an Israeli withdrawal from 80 percent of Hebron, an unprecedented offer of statehood and a proposal to give the Palestinians about 95 percent of the West Bank in an attempt to hammer out a final status agreement at Camp David."

During all these attempts at negotiating, the Palestinians would react to Israeli concessions by increased terrorism and an even bolder hardening of their position. Finally, it began to dawn on both Israel and the United States that the Palestinians wanted nothing short of the complete annihilation of the Jew. They would sign no agreement that did not give them the opportunity to completely destroy Israel.

Please keep in mind the truth that, had the Palestinians accept any of these previous peace proposals, Israel would have voluntarily surrendered almost exactly the territories in the White House map. President Obama now faces the same reality. Leaders of both the Palestinian Authority and the terror group, Hamas, share this common goal. They want Israel dead and every Jew annihilated. Thank God that Israel has supernatural protection from Almighty God, or she would be easily overrun. Perhaps this history is the real reason President Obama is not interested in bringing forth a new peace plan, being merely content with stating the bland desire for peace.

Prophecy foretells that God deals with the Palestinians (House of Esau) at the End of the Age, using Israel as His weapon of judgment. You certainly will not watch events in the Middle East the same way again.

Finally, prophetic Scripture reveals that a Palestinian State does not have to be established, only declared.

"is designed to create a Palestinian State, we need to realize that the Bible foretold an End of the Age declaration of a state by House of Esau -- Palestinian -- nobles, but that this declaration would be a totally empty gesture! In NEWS1806, we reported the End Times' prophecy against the "House of Esau" -- the Palestinians -- in which God foretold that their leaders would announce a Palestinian State, an empty proclamation. "They shall call its nobles to proclaim the kingdom, but nothing shall be there". [Isaiah 34:12]

No matter which President finally gets a proclamation of Palestinian statehood, Almighty God -- the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob -- will work His Omnipotent power to ensure that a Palestinian State will never be actually established -- only proclaimed. This reality has been noted by numerous Western leaders and journalists over the past years. The Palestinians, they note, lack a national vision, lack enough trained leadership and lack cohesion amongst themselves to ever establish a nation.

God's prophecy will stand in this matter.

II. Has the Syrian Army "crossed the line" by using chemical weapons on the rebels?

Or, did Syrian rebels use chemical weapons so they could blame it on the Syrian Army?

Either way, it seems that a final chapter has been opened in this 2-year-old plan to overthrow the entrenched dictator, President Assad. The "Non-Integrating Gap" strategy is in full operation in Syria.

"There is a 'high probability' that Syria used chemical weapons in the ongoing civil war ... I have a high probability to believe that chemical weapons were used," Chairman Mike Rogers (R-Michigan) said."

Even though Rogers stated that final verification was needed to determine, Mass Media rushed to judgment immediately, blaming the Syrian Army. The immediate result was that President Obama was facing new pressure to commit American forces to support the Syrian rebels.

NEWS BRIEF: "US faces new pressure to act amid charges of chemical attacks in Syria", Fox News, 3/19/2013

"he Assad regime and Syrian rebels traded accusations Tuesday of launching a chemical attack -- in an escalation that, if confirmed, would mark the first known use of chemical weapons in the civil war and could pressure the U.S. to consider military action after two years on the sidelines. President Obama has long said the use of chemical weapons would be a 'red line' for his administration."

Ominously, a news report was issued almost immediately that NATO and American forces were preparing for "intervention".

"The top US commander in Europe told a Senate hearing Tuesday that the US military and NATO are drawing up plans for direct military intervention in Syria.
Adm. James Stavridis, head of the Pentagon’s European Command, speaking at a hearing by the Senate Armed Service Committee, said that the US military is 'looking at a variety of options' and is “prepared if called upon to be engaged.”

Since the Western powers are following their strategy of the "Non-Integrating Gap" Syria's entrenched dictator, President Assad, will not be able to resist this onslaught very much longer. Soon, the Syrian government will be controlled by militants too eager to fight each other than seasoned diplomats. The new Syrian government will be fractured and weak and totally unable to resist a future demand to surrender national sovereignty to the regional government of the Club of Rome Plan, Supernation #7.

The only question is whether Syria's President Assad will attempt to launch a strike against Israel as he is going down. If he does launch such a strike, Israel is likely to fulfill her warning to destroy Damascus. At that point, Isaiah 17:1 will be fulfilled:

"The mournful, inspired prediction (a burden to be lifted up) concerning Damascus [capital of Syria] ... Behold, Damascus will cease to be a city and will become a heap of ruins." (Isaiah 17:1; Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary)

This description of this proposed bill just sounds ominous, don't you think? This moniker makes it sound as though Congress is going to protect Monsanto from whomever might want to sue or to file a criminal charge. As a matter of fact, this is exactly what this bill is intended to accomplish.

"... giants like Monsanto have made millions off of genetically engineering crops that traditional plants simply can’t match up with. Additionally, Monsanto has taken a slew of farmers to court over questionable patent infringement suits, almost always winning the help of high-powered attorneys. Now if the Farmer Assurance Provision is approved by Congress, GMO companies will once again be allowed an advantage from their friends in Washington. If the provision is approved this week, biotech companies won’t have to wait for federal approval to test and plant laboratory-made crops, instead being allowed to carry on with even selling such crops until the government elects to tell them otherwise."

“The provision would strip federal courts of the authority to halt the sale and planting of an illegal, potentially hazardous GE crop while the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) assesses those potential hazards' ... this provision seeks an end-run around such judicial review by preemptively deciding that industry can set its own conditions to continue to sell biotech seeds, even if a court may find them to have been wrongfully approved.”

When I first learned of GMO products and of biotech companies like Monsanto, and when I learned of the incredible political protection these crops and these companies enjoyed in Washington, I quickly came to the belief that this kind of megalithic biotech company might enjoy such protection because their draconian capabilities will be needed once the Masonic Christ is on the world scene.
