"The Broward sheriff
deputy assigned to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School
resigned on Thursday, about a week after a school shooting
there that left 17 people dead. Scot Peterson, a school
resource officer from the Broward County Sheriff’s
office, waited outside the school building without ever
going inside, sheriff Scott Israel said during a news
conference on Thursday'."

Israel's statement, and weep for the 17 innocent high
school children slaughtered by Nicholas Cruz. As Sheriff
Israel lamented:
" 'What I saw was
a deputy arrive at the west side of building 12, take
up a position, and he never went in', Israel said Thursday,
referring to the school building where the shooter went
on his rampage."
The cowardly nature of
this deputy sheriff is beyond words, beyond comprehension
and beyond human decency. Here is a deputy sheriff who
has taken an oath to protect the citizenry of his community
and has been given a loaded gun and the training on
how to use it.
But, when innocent lives
are being snuffed out just beyond the door behind which
he is crouching, he stands impotent and terrified. Listen

of Government starts at the bottom with the Broward
Deputy Sheriff who was so scared he could not act with
his loaded gun to protect the children on the other
side of the door, to Sheriff Israel's department, who
ignored several warnings just hours before the shooting,
and finally, to the FBI who was so warned about Nicholas
Cruz that agents went to his home 39 times!
Why, it is enough failure
to discourage us all about our current system of Government!
