Christianity is out, and

the actual monetary and blood cost which the Union spent
to free those slaves, and the temporary advantage given
blacks by the Great Society Welfare Program, it seems
to me that reparations have been already made.

If the war cost the Union
$6,190,000,000 in 1879 Dollars, then it will equal a
staggering $142,994,689,831.08

Furthermore, the cost
in Union lives is even more staggering. Most estimates
of Union dead and wounded are in the 750,000 range!
Most Union soldiers did not fight and die for the express
purpose of ending slavery; in fact, President Lincoln
had to disguise this genuine goal for the first two
years of the Civil War.
Many immigrants arriving
at our shores were immediately mustered into the Union
Army, where they fought and died to free the Southern
slaves.
Considering that the Federal
Government has spent "an
astronomical $20 trillion" as it supported
President Lyndon Johnson's Great Society welfare programs,
the total cost to the Union for attempting to right
the wrongs of Confederate Slavery is 20,142,000,000,000,
and the loss of life for 750,000 men!
I consider that reparations
figure sufficient to right this wrong, don't you?
Futhermore, President
Johnson's reasons for granting blacks the monies of
his Great Society Welfare Program were entirely self-serving.

subject of reparations is opened, it will prove to be
a "never-ending pit". No length of time, nor
any amount of currency, will be sufficient to the mind
of the person who wants reparations.
One American Authority
on this subject of the cost of the Civil War and how
much God was going to punish the South, was President
Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln spoke these words during his
Second Inaugural Address in 1865, just days before his
assassination.

[Slavery] interest was, somehow, the cause of the war
... Yet, if God will that it [Civil War] continue, until
all the wealth plied by the bond-man's two hundred and

As you can see, President
Lincoln correctly viewed the Civil War as a war of God's
Judgment delivered to a nation who had oppressively
enslaved an entire people for almost 300 years!
Furthermore,
God was going to extract the "reparations"
which the South owed in the currency of blood, "until
every drop of blood drawn with the lash shall be paid
by another drawn with the sword".
Thus, in God's sight,
reparations were finished when the South surrendered
at Appomattox, Virginia. Blood from the slavery master
had been extracted in order to pay reparations for nearly
300 years of slavery oppression of the black man.
In God's sight, "it
is finished", the debt has been paid.
