I. A British judge will rule on how far the Roman Catholic Church can be held liable for the sex crimes of their priests.

"The Roman Catholic church's liability for the wrongdoings of its priests is being tested in a high court hearing that could have a significant impact on clerical sexual abuse cases. Mr Justice MacDuff has been asked to decide if the relationship between a bishop and a priest is similar to that between employers and their staff ... The three-day hearing, which started yesterday, will not focus on the abuse claims but on the issue of corporate liability."

The Catholic Church really does not care one whit about the spiritual well-being of their parishioners. Popes, Cardinals, Bishops, and priests only worry about protecting their own well-being and their own pocketbook. This sad reality is why priests discovered to be sexually predatory are simply transferred to another Catholic Church, usually across the continent. Is George Bush still the President? Under his leadership, Homeland Security and the FBI issued a string of ridiculous terror alerts beginning immediately after 9/11, none of which ever occurred. When you couple this news with daily reports of nuclear contamination from Japan's cripple plants and the possible contamination from American nuclear plants being flooded in the heartland region, you have real trouble brewing! Someday politicians in countries all over the world are going to rise up to demand that nuclear power plants be decommissioned and plants using other types of fuel take their place -- just as Germany is already doing!
