I. Former U.S. Congressman warns publicly that detention prisons do exist and that advanced plans to arrest dissidents as "homegrown terrorists" are well underway.

"Since 9/11, and seemingly without the notice of most Americans, the federal government has assumed the authority to institute martial law, arrest a wide swath of dissidents (citizen and noncitizen alike), and detain people without legal or constitutional recourse in the event of 'an emergency influx of immigrants in the U.S., or to support the rapid development of new programs'."

Dictators love vague wording of laws, because it allows them a large enough loophole through which they can drive right through to their planned end of Total Dictatorship. These words, "or to support the rapid development of new programs" is so vague that it can mean whatever the President wants it to mean at the time. Notice that, for those arrested, the Constitution has been suspended. Our research has consistently revealed that the Constitution is going to be dissolved nationwide once the next planned terror attack is carried out.

But, there is more horror, as specially built detention camps are already in place, awaiting its victims -- just as "Barbed Wire On America" reports!

"Beginning in 1999, the government has entered into a series of single-bid contracts with Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg, Brown and Root (KBR) to build detention camps at undisclosed locations within the United States. The government has also contracted with several companies to build thousands of railcars, some reportedly equipped with shackles, ostensibly to transport detainees. According to diplomat and author Peter Dale Scott, the KBR contract is part of a Homeland Security plan titled ENDGAME, which sets as its goal the removal of 'all removable aliens' and 'potential terrorists'."

"But the real question is: What kind of "new programs" require the construction and refurbishment of detention facilities in nearly every state of the union with the capacity to house perhaps millions of people? Sect. 1042 of the 2007 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), 'Use of the Armed Forces in Major Public Emergencies', gives the executive the power to invoke martial law. For the first time in more than a century, the president is now authorized to use the military in response to "a natural disaster, a disease outbreak, a terrorist attack or any other condition in which the President determines that domestic violence has occurred to the extent that state officials cannot maintain public order."

Did you notice the catch-all phrase? "or any other condition in which the President determines"

This type of vague wording will allow authorities to impose Martial Law and imprisonment upon anyone at any time for any reason. The numbers of people who can be targeted for imprisonment is huge -- and growing by 20,000 per month.

"The Military Commissions Act of 2006, rammed through Congress just before the 2006 midterm elections, allows for the indefinite imprisonment of anyone who donates money to a charity that turns up on a list of 'terrorist' organizations, or who speaks out against the government's policies. The law calls for secret trials for citizens and noncitizens alike. Also in 2007, the White House quietly issued National Security Presidential Directive 51 (NSPD-51), to ensure "continuity of government" in the event of what the document vaguely calls a 'catastrophic emergency'. Should the president determine that such an emergency has occurred, he and he alone is empowered to do whatever he deems necessary to ensure 'continuity of government'."

".... the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act, a law that labels those who 'engage in sit-ins, civil disobedience, trespass, or any other crime in the name of animal rights' as terrorists. Other groups in the crosshairs could be anti-abortion protesters, anti-tax agitators, immigration activists, environmentalists, peace demonstrators, Second Amendment rights supporters ... the list goes on and on. According to author Naomi Wolf, the National Counterterrorism Center holds the names of roughly 775,000 "terror suspects" with the number increasing by 20,000 per month."

The government has been gathering information on its potential "enemies" since World War II. The major reason the IRS law was amended to allow people to receive a tax deduction for monies given to charities and churches was to allow the government to begin assembling its "enemies lists"! Bill Cooper, writing in "Behold A Pale Horse", says that the net cast to sweep up dissidents will be so fine, so thorough, that a person can be imprisoned if he or she simply had a magazine subscription to a magazine which authorities deem to represent a point of view contrary to the government!

Most Christians can assume that their name is already on some government list. But, isn't that the way it should be? Quite a number of pastors over the years have asked the rhetorical question, "If the government is arresting Christians, would there be enough evidence in your life to convict you"?

II. The Israeli Chief of Staff seems to be preparing Israel for all-out war!

" 'I cannot promise we will not find ourselves facing a difficult trial in the near future', IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi said on Wednesday at a ceremony for cadets graduating from the officers' training course. 'Our hands are outstretched in peace, but they are also ready for battle', said Ashkenazi."

Prime Minister Olmert also addressed the graduating officers and reiterated the same theme.

"Olmert said that even the officers' training course has been modified following the (2006 Lebanon) war. 'We are investing unprecedented resources to allow the IDF to train more, to prepare itself and provide its soldiers with the best possible training on every command level to face any scenario', he said. 'In its 60th year the State of Israel is a strong nation with a powerful military and a level of deterrence known well to all those who need to know it', said Olmert, alluding to Israel's covert operations. 'We are confident in ourselves and in our might, we march ahead down a road of peace and security'."

Notice that Olmert is promising a these cadets a "road of peace and security"! What was it that the Apostle Paul warned would be a sure sign of the Rapture of the Church?

For the past several years, the prospect of establishing a Palestinian State from within Israel's Biblical lands has been advanced on the promise of "Peace and Safety (Security)". As often as we hear this phrase, we shall know that the world is hurtling toward the final End of the Age, when all hell will break forth upon an unsuspecting sinful people.
