The Mormon Church boasts that it constructs a new
ward meeting house somewhere in the world every
single day! Additionally, Mormon temples, once
rarely found outside the Rocky Mountain States,
now are scattered all over the world. Bright and
dazzling, with futuristic needle-like spires,
these temples herald the restored gospel of
Mormonism. But are the temples truly 'Houses
of the Lord' as the LDS Church proudly proclaims?
Schnoebelen's previous book, 'Mormonism's Temple
of Doom' documented connections between the
rituals of the LDS Temple Ceremony, Freemasonry
and Witchcraft. That book also detailed the
Temple Ceremony and reported the occult
architecture of the Salt Lake Temple.
Schnoebelen maintains that the Salt Lake City
Temple is an architectural statement of Mormon
Theology - a theology which is dark, sinister and
foreboding. Bill believes that Mormon Temples are
'Whited Sepulchers', a term Jesus applied to the
Pharisees (Matt 23:27)
After Bill published
'Mormonism's Temple of Doom', dramatic revisions
were made in the old Mormon Temple ceremony,
including the removal of the unbiblical, gruesome
Masonic-type blood oaths.
