As Russia is getting prepared to enter the Middle East in accord with Biblical prophecy, we believe God has identified the name of the demonic overlord responsible for Russia. Only a ministry that is familiar with Witchcraft and Spiritual Warfare would understand this part of the prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39. Stand by for some news!
GOD'S REVELATION: "Behold I am against you, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal" [Ezekiel 38:3]
"... son of man, prophesy against Gog ... I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: And I will turn thee back ... and will cause thee to come up from the north parts ..." [Ezekiel 39:1-2]
GOG IS A HUMAN LEADER OF RUSSIA?
No Bible scholar knows exactly the identification of this "Gog", the leader of Russia in this End of the Age prophecy. Most scholars attempt to identify him as a human leader that will lead Russia into an attack on Israel at the end of time.
Dr. J.R. Church of Prophecy In The News is typical of this approach. In fact, in one of his newsletters in 1988, he noted that Gorbachev was probably the leader that would lead Russia in this ill-fated attack. he based this belief on the fact that, before the Russian Revolution of 1917, Gorbachev's family was actually spelled Gogbachev. While this possibility is intriguing, we now know that Gorbachev will not be leading any Russian army against Israel, as he has been out of Russian politics for too long to think he could ever go back.
However, the most serious objection is found in Revelation 20:7-8, where we see Gog appearing again, leading another nation or nations into battle one last time again God, after Jesus' Millennial reign. If the original Gog of Ezekiel 38-39 is a human, he is killed at the time of the Russian invasion of Israel. How can he be seen again after the Millennial reign leading nations again? Bible scholars simply do not know.
THE OCCULT IDENTIFICATION OF GOG AS THE DEMONIC OVERLORD OF RUSSIA!
However, as seen from the viewpoint of someone familiar with the occult, the identification of Gog in Ezekiel 38-39 and Revelation 20:7-8 is simple: he is the demonic overlord responsible to Lord Satan for the direction of leadership in Russia.
For those of you who might not be familiar with this subject, let us spend a few moments in Bible study that will shed some light on this subject. Turn with me to the Book of Daniel, Chapter 10. In this chapter, the Prophet Daniel begins praying to God for more understanding about the future prophetic history of his beloved nation, Israel. We see that God gives an angel the answer to Daniel's prayer the very first day Daniel prayed [Vs 12]. Yet, he was prevented from reaching Daniel for three whole weeks! What could have happened to keep a Godly angel from reaching Earth for three whole weeks, when the normal "transportation time" is just a split-second? We get the answer in verse 13:
"But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained [was not needed anymore] there with the kings of Persia."
This passage tells us that this Godly angel was attacked by a demonic being that was more powerful than the angel, and kept him from reaching Daniel for three whole weeks. I bet you did not know that some demonic beings are more powerful than some Godly angels, did you?
Furthermore, we see that the only way this angel could get victory over this demonic being was to call for help from Michael, the Guardian Angel responsible for the defense of Israel. Once Michael came to his aid, this Godly angel was able to go to Daniel's side to give him God's answer to his prayers.
But, then, this angel says something even more shocking: In verse 20, he says that, once he returns, he will have to join an ongoing fight between Godly angels and demonic beings for the "Prince of Persia" and the "Prince of Greece". The Kingdom of Greece, at the time of this writing, was not even in existence! Thus, we get an understanding that, in the Heavenly sphere, both Godly angels and ungodly beings are fighting for nations long before the time is come for that nation to step on to the world scene.
Now, notice that these demonic beings are referred to as "Princes ". In Daniel 10, the word for "prince" is "sar", Strong's Number 8269. The meanings of this word are: Captain, chief, governor, or lord. In other words, this demonic being referred to here is one that has rulership or authority. Keep this in mind for we shall refer to this a little bit later in this article.
The true picture of what is being spoken of here is that both God and Satan have assigned their supernatural emissaries to stay close to the human leader of individual nations throughout history. The angel attempts to move the king to make decisions that will implement God's plan, while the demonic being will attempt to influence the king to make decisions that will serve Satan's purposes. This picture shows Gog hovering close to the human leader of Russia, ensuring that the decision he makes and the thoughts of his mind move the nation into Satan's orbit so the nation will make decisions that promote Satan's plan.
Fortunately, God has given us a clearer look at this terribly important aspect of the spiritual warfare in the Heavenlies.
In Isaiah 14:1-11, God is taunting the evil human king of Babylon just before he dies and goes to Hell. In verse 11, God speaks of how the pomp and magnificence of the King of Babylon is brought to nothing, as he goes down into Sheol. Then, suddenly, in verse 12, God speaks directly to Satan, telling him that the same end will happen to him [verses 15-19].
In this first instance, God is taunting the human King of Babylon, and then the next instance, he is taunting Satan with the same language, the same terminology, and the same end. You see, Satan was operating behind the King of Babylon all the time, influencing his decisions and his thoughts.
We get an even clearer picture of this supernatural battle over the affairs of the nations in Ezekiel 28:12-19. In verse 12, God speaks to the King of Tyre. Listen:
"Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty." Even though these were highly complimentary words for a human king, God is definitely speaking about the King of Tyre. But, in the very next verse, we can see that God is really speaking to Satan!
"Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God" What?! The King of Tyre was not physically living at the time of the Garden of Eden, but Satan was. Thus, God is speaking, even in verse 12, to Satan, who is the power behind the throne of the ungodly King of Tyre!
Returning to Daniel 10, we see that Satan does not always personally attend to all the rulers and leaders of the human nations, but does delegate that responsibility to his most powerful demonic overlords. Their assignment is to constantly hover over the kings to which they are assigned, to influence their thoughts, their plans, their feelings and emotions, so that they will take action that will move that human leader to fulfill Satan's plans.
God, on the other hand, assigns His powerful angels to the same task with the same human leader. While God has the power to win every battle, should He decide to do so, He acts in His Sovereignty to not win every battle. However, Satan wins no victory that will cause God to lose the overall war. God's overall purpose, plans, and prophecies will always be fulfilled. But, as in any protracted war, Satan will be allowed to "win" some victories over the Godly angel.
This war in Ezekiel falls somewhat into this latter category. Satan is allowed to bring this human leader of Russia to the borders of Israel at the "Latter Days". In point of fact, God is pictured here as deliberately forcing the demonic overlord, Gog, into attacking Israel.
Let us know examine these passages in such a way as to shed light on the fact that God is speaking here to the demonic overlord, or Prince of Russia.
Ezekiel 38:1-3 -- "And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:"
Here, we can see that God is definitely speaking to a person, a being, calling him "prince", "chief prince", and even using the pronoun, "him". The word used here for "prince" is Strong's Number 5387, "naisy". Even though the word used is different, the meanings are the same as the word, "prince" used in Daniel 10: Captain, chief, governor, or lord. Therefore, we know that Gog is the same type of demonic personage as the "Prince of Persia" and the "Prince of Greece" in Daniel 10.
Ezekiel 38:4 -- "And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws ..." I can just see, using my imagination, a demon into which God has placed hooks into his mighty jaws. The "hook" here is the same as a horse's bridle, which fits into the mouth of the horse, and hurts it enough that it will willingly turn its head any which way the rider demands. Apparently, the demonic overlord is trying to take Russia in a different direction than what God envisions, so God sinks His hooks into the jaw of the demonic overlord and turns him around, to begin his attack on Israel. We are not told when, in the prophetic timeline, God sinks His hooks.
Eight times in Chapter 38, God refers to Gog in the personal pronoun, "Thou". Of course, this is exactly the way you would expect God to address a demonic personage. Listen to all the personal pronouns:
"Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them. After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come ... against the mountains of Israel ..." [Verses 8] I find it highly interesting here that God is saying that Gog shall be in the situation with Russia for "many days", but shall bring Russia against Israel only "in the latter years". God seems to be saying that Gog shall work directly with Russia for many years, and in the "latter years" cause her leadership to move against Israel.
We certainly know that Gog was working with the Communist leadership since the 1917 Revolution. However, we see Russia specifically mentioned in the 1870 demonic vision of Albert Pike [Read NEWS1015, NEWS1056 and NEWS1057 for full details] telling Pike how to achieve the appearance of Antichrist. The ultimate goal of World War I was to overthrow the Czarist Government of Russia; the ultimate goal of World War II was to build Russia up to superpower status so she could serve as the Antithesis power, battling the Thesis powers of the West, so the Synthesis system [New World Order] could be established [Read NEWS1007 for full details].
We find it highly likely that Gog was assigned to the Czarist Government of Russia at least 100 years before the Russian Revolution. History records that the Czarist Government was deeply involved in Witchcraft at the highest levels since the late 1700's. This weakened the hold on the people and set Russia up for God's judgment, which arrived in full force in 1917 in the person of Nicholai Lenin. As one old priest lamented as Russia found itself mired in the throes of the Communist Revolution, "This has happened to Russia because we have forgotten God".
But, certainly, Gog was behind the Communist leaders in Russia from 1917 onward. Communism was the most evil, most murderous system of repression in world history. Its murdering of anyone that might prove to be an obstacle to its successful implementation knew no bounds. Estimates of the number of people killed by Lenin and Stalin exceed 20 million. Communism well chose the color, Red, for the background of its flag for it bathed Russia in human blood repeatedly. Christian pastor and author, Richard Wurmbrand, a prisoner for many years in a gulag, captures perfectly the heart and soul of Communism.
"Revolutions do not cause love to triumph. Rather, killing becomes a mania. In the Russian and Chinese revolutions, after the Communists had murdered tens of millions of innocents, they could not stop murdering and brutally killed one another ... Communism is collective demon-possession." [Marx & Satan", p. 107-8]
This symbol truly understands the rivers and oceans of blood that has to flow in order for the Antichrist to arise. Communism has certainly slain its tens of millions to prepare the world for Antichrist.
Then, God speaks prophecy that rather clearly demonstrates the fact that He is speaking to Gog, who will be bringing the Russian armed forces against Israel. Listen: "Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee." [38:9] Here, God clearly refers to Gog as a separate entity from the armed forces he shall lead.
Finally, God predicts the fall of the armed forces led by Gog
against Israel, "Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and
all thy bands, and the people that is with thee ... Thou shalt fall upon
the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD." [39:4] God
will ultimately destroy the armed forces Gog is bringing against Israel, even
destroying the Land of Gog [Magog], Russia herself. Gog will thus have
led the human Russian leaders directly into the greatest of national disasters,
as God destroys the armed forces and the nation itself. It seems that
Gog is out of a job, right?
GOG'S ENTRANCE UPON THE WORLD SCENE ONCE MORE DECEIVING LEADERS
"And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea." [Revelation 20:7-8]
As Satan is released from his 1000-year reign, he evidently brings Gog with him. Gog immediately goes throughout the world -- all four quarters of the earth -- to whisper into the minds of rebellious human leaders that they should assemble their forces against God once again. As we stated earlier, Bible scholars are totally at a loss to explain how Gog, whom they see as a human leader, could die in his attack on Israel, and be back again after the Millennium. Not only do they have trouble with a human leader coming back to life, but they have equal trouble with the idea that a human leader could live for over 1,000 years.
But, since Gog is a demonic overlord, responsible before Satan for determining the direction of Russia and then later, all nations, we have no such troubles. Gog is supernatural and cannot be killed. Since he is supernatural, he lives forever.
Seen from both the aspect of the occult, and from Scripture, it
is clear that the Gog of Ezekiel 38-39, and of Revelation 20, is the powerful
demonic overlord of Russia. Soon, he will be leading the Russian army
into the Middle East, probably through Chechnya, to participate in the planned
World War III, the Obadiah War that will actually produce Antichrist.
Are you spiritually ready? Is your family? Are you adequately protecting your loved ones? This is the reason for this ministry, to enable you to first understand the peril facing you, and then help you develop strategies to warn and protect your loved ones. Once you have been thoroughly trained, you can also use your knowledge as a means to open the door of discussion with an unsaved person. I have been able to use it many times, and have seen people come to Jesus Christ as a result. These perilous times are also a time when we can reach many souls for Jesus Christ, making an eternal difference.
If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, but have been very lukewarm in your spiritual walk with Him, you need to immediately ask Him for forgiveness and for renewal. He will instantly forgive you, and fill your heart with the joy of the Holy Spirit. Then, you need to begin a daily walk of prayer and personal Bible Study.
If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as Savior, but have come to realize His reality and the approaching End of the Age, and want to accept His FREE Gift of Eternal Life, you can also do so now, in the privacy of your home. Once you accept Him as Savior, you are spiritually Born Again, and are as assured of Heaven as if you were already there. Then, you can rest assured that the Kingdom of Antichrist will not touch you spiritually.
