TITLE: FREE LIFE INSURANCE

Subtitle: "...Whosoever Liveth And Believeth In Me Shall Never Die..." (John 11:26, KJV)

To provide financial security for the family and avoid the crisis an unexpected death of a parent can cause, we often take out "life insurance" policies. For a monthly fee the insurance company agrees to pay a specified amount if the insured dies while the policy is in force. They can afford to make such an offer because actuarial tables tell them it is a good risk. Based upon the age and general health of the insured at the time the policy is written, the odds are excellent that the person will live long enough to
pay more in premiums than the face value of the policy. And since more people live to reach or exceed that point than those who do not, the company makes a good profit while providing a beneficial service.

But as some wise person has said,  two things are absolutely certain in this life: death and taxes! Sometimes we have a little say in how much we are taxed, but none whatever in whether or not we are going to die. Sooner or later all humans--with the sole exception being those believers who will be removed at the Rapture of the Church--are going to keep that appointment. Why? Because the Bible says so:

"And just as it is appointed for [all] men once to die, and after that the [certain] judgment" Hebrews 9:27 (Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified).

Physical death is an on-going demonstration that God meant exactly what He said when He told Adam he would die after eating the forbidden fruit. And it is interesting to note that God did not phrase His comment by using the word "if"--as in "if  you eat the fruit, you will die." No, He told Adam that in the day he ate, he would die! God is Omniscient and knew exactly what Adam was going to do before he did it.

But in any case, Adam's sin made physical death inescapable for all men everywhere. Are you prepared to face it?

Unlike an insurance salesman who wants to make a sale to receive a monthly commission, I ask the question concerning your preparedness with no such ulterior motive. In fact, it my goal to help as many people as possible to receive life insurance free of cost. There are no premiums because the policy has already been paid in full. Sound too good to be true?

Sales people will tell you that the best advertisement is a satisfied customer. And I am but one of millions who will testify to our complete satisfaction with the policy that Jesus Christ wrote in His own blood by dying on the cross. That perfect sacrifice covers 100% of those who truly avail themselves of its provisions and they will never die spiritually. Although the Word of God teaches Adam's sin doomed all men to be born spiritually dead, with physical death to follow, it also says they may be born again--receive spiritual life--by placing their faith in Christ. Then once that miraculous transformation takes place, physical death holds no more power over them because as a born-again child of God they will live in His presence forever. That is why the Word of God often uses the term "sleep" to describe the death of a believer, because they just "wake up" in the arms of their Savior:

"These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep" John 11:11 (KJV)

"Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed" 1 Cor. 15:51 (KJV)

"For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him" 1 Thes. 4:14 (KJV)

"Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him" 1 Thes. 5:10 (KJV)

Would you not like to have this guarantee of life after death? Jesus Christ offers it without charge to all who seek it through genuine faith. An intellectual "belief" of the facts in the Bible concerning His salvation will avail you nothing. Neither will offering to pay for it by good works or merely desiring it to escape eternal punishment in hell. So in order to receive His "policy" you must ask for it with a humble heart, confessing the fact that you are a sinner and therefore totally unworthy of even being considered! He is under no obligation whatever to grant your petition and if He does so, it will be an act of grace--unmerited favor--on His part.

But the good news of the Gospel is that He is going to save 100% of those who meet the requirement of genuine belief. They were foreknown, chosen, and predestined to salvation by God prior to creation.

"For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was aware and loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren" Romans 8:29 (Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified).

"Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love. For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will [because it pleased Him and was His kind intent]" Ephes. 1:4-5 (Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified).

Are you one of those who will believe and be saved? If this invitation to avail yourself of God's "life insurance" touches your heart and draws you to seek His salvation--then you are headed in the right direction. The vast majority, like those who try to avoid insurance salesmen, will reject it as being silly and never give it a second thought.

"But the natural, nonspiritual man does not accept or welcome or admit into his heart the gifts and teachings and revelations of the Spirit of God, for they are folly (meaningless nonsense) to him; and he is incapable of knowing them [of progressively recognizing, understanding, and becoming better acquainted with them] because they are spiritually discerned and estimated and appreciated" 1 Cor. 2:14 (Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified).

"So then those who are living the life of the flesh [catering to the appetites and impulses of their carnal nature] cannot please or satisfy God, or be acceptable to Him. [9] But you are not living the life of the flesh, you are living the life of the Spirit, if the [Holy] Spirit of God [really] dwells within you [directs and controls you]. But if anyone does not possess the [Holy] Spirit of Christ, he is none of His [he does not belong to Christ, is not truly a child of God]"  Romans 8:8-9 (Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified).

So I lovingly urge you to bow your unworthy head in prayer, confess to God that you are a sinner and ask Him to forgive and save you from eternal death. But bear in mind that you will not do this from the heart and for the right reason unless the Holy Spirit is prompting you:

"No one is able to come to Me unless the Father Who sent Me attracts and draws him and gives him the desire to come to Me, and [then] I will raise him up [from the dead] at the last day" John 6:44 (Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified).

By using psychological pressure tactics many preachers and evangelists continue to elicit "decisions" from millions of those who do not want to go to hell--but in actual point of fact, most of them never experience a spiritual rebirth in Christ. And over time their subsequent actions and manner of life prove that their profession of faith was not genuine. But praise the Lord, some still believe the Gospel message and come with repentant hearts to receive their policy written in His blood and free for the asking!

Are you among those who will make a genuine effort to receive it? For your sake I sincerely hope so.

If you have been born again and received Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, but have been very lukewarm in your spiritual walk with Him, you need to immediately ask Him for forgiveness and for renewal. He will instantly forgive you, and fill your heart with the joy of the Holy Spirit. Then, you need to begin a daily walk of prayer and personal Bible Study.

If you have never placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior, but have come to sense His reality and the approaching End of the Age, and want to receive His FREE Gift of Eternal Life, you can do so now, in the privacy of your home. Once you truly believe in Him as Lord and Savior, you are spiritually Born Again, and are as assured of Heaven as if you were already there.
