Emergent Missiology -- I must add that I dont
believe making disciples must equal making
adherents to the Christian religion. It may be
advisable in many (not all!) circumstances to
help people become followers of Jesus and
remain within their Buddhist, Hindu, or Jewish
contexts.1 Brian McLaren (NOTE: This heretical
goal formed the foundation for Mother Teresa's
long ministry in India, and was practicing by
Spanish monks who followed the rampaging
Spanich Army as they invaded Central and South
America. Emerging 'progressive
Christianity' is changing the way
evangelical/Protestant missions is being
conducted. The idea is that you can go for
Jesus, but you don't have to identify yourself
as a Christian or part of the Christian church.
This concept spills over into some missionary
societies too, where they teach people from
other religions they can keep their religion,
just add Jesus to the equation. They dont have
to embrace the term Christian.
The End of
the Age heresy has broken upon the world in all
its eternal spiritual destruction!
