Let us correct the error by thinking of ourselves as standing by the bank of a full, flowing river; then let us think of that river as being none else by God Himself. We glance to our left and see the river coming full out of our past; we look to the right and see it flowing into our future. But we also see that it is flowing through our present. And in our today, it is the same as it was in our yesterday, not less than, nor different from, but the very same river, one unbroken continuum, undiminished, active, and strong as it moves sovereignly on into our tomorrow.

I. As the January 30 elections in Iraq drew closer, the country convulsed with bloody terror attacks.

NEWS BRIEF: "Bloodiest day for US as violence grows", The Guardian (London), January 27, 2005

"The US yesterday suffered its worst day in Iraq since the war began when a marine helicopter crashed in the western desert and insurgents launched a new wave of attacks, leaving a total of 37 Americans dead. George Bush declared it "a sad moment" but called for patience from Americans and courage from Iraqis ... and ruled out a quick exit for US troops after the Iraqi vote .... He rejected claims that the vote would be a signal for the US to pull out, and would not give a timetable for withdrawal."

".... early reports suggested there had been no hostile fire at the helicopter crash site near the Jordanian border, and that desert fog may have contributed to the accident ... Four marines were killed in combat in the Anbar province in the heart of the Sunni triangle, a soldier was killed in north Baghdad, and another died in a roadside bombing in the capital ... For US troops, the death toll was heavier than their bloodiest day of the 2003 invasion, March 23, when 31 were killed."

"The run-up to the elections has shown itself to be even more dangerous than the first few chaotic days, and this time it appears the insurgents, not the Americans, have gained the initiative ... Late yesterday 15 Iraqis were killed and at least 30 wounded when a suicide bomber detonated a fuel tanker near the offices of the Kurdish Democratic party in the north-western town of Sinjar."

"In coordinated attacks, three suicide car bombers targeted an Iraqi army post, a police station and a road in the northern town of Riyadh ... killing nine people and wounding at least 12, police said. A US patrol which went to the scene was ambushed by small-arms fire. In Baquba, north of Baghdad, one policeman died and at least eight people were wounded when gunfire raked the offices of three political parties." (Ibid.)

We have stated repeatedly that insurgents have threatened Interim Iraqi government officials, right up to Prime Minister Allawi. Some police officials, governors, vice-governors, judges, and police chiefs have been assassinated. But, this next story takes the threat right to Allawi's doorstep.

NEWS BRIEF: "Iraq PM's secretary executed on video", The Scotsman, 28 January 2005

"INSURGENTS bent on wrecking Sunday’s elections yesterday killed 20 people, including the Iraqi prime minister’s secretary, and bombed polling stations within the country’s Sunni heartland ... A videotape also appeared on a website apparently showing the killing of a man described as the secretary of the Iraqi prime minister, Ayad Allawi ... The tape, said to have been issued by a group led by al-Qaeda ally Abu Musab al- Zarqawi, showed Salem Jaafar al-Kanani speaking to the camera before he was shot several times while lying on the ground."

The Prime Minister has to be concerned with his own life should he not win re-election.

NEWS BRIEF: "Iraqi judge assassinated in Baghdad", Khaleej Times, 25 January 2005

"BAGHDAD - Gunmen assassinated an Iraqi judge and killed his bodyguard on Tuesday as he was heading to work in eastern Baghdad ... The judge was identified as Qais Hashim Shameri. His driver was also wounded in the shooting. The judge’s car was riddled with bullets and blood stained the pavement. Insurgents routinely target Iraqi government and police officials. Earlier this month, gunmen killed the governor of Baghdad province and the capital’s deputy police chief."

NEWS BRIEF: "Killings in Mosul have taken a huge toll", By TOM LASSETER, Knight Ridder Newspapers, reprinted in T he State, Sun, Jan. 23, 2005

"MOSUL, Iraq - The bodies turn up at night. Pulled from the trunks of cars, throats slit and dropped off in a cemetery. Or shot in the back of the head and dumped in the middle of the road. There's no official tally, but interviews with U.S. Army officers and soldiers in Mosul indicate that hundreds of the corpses - calling cards of the insurgency - have turned up during the past several months. It's part of a vicious guerrilla campaign of murder and intimidation in the northern Iraq town that's killed not only hundreds of police, national guardsmen and contractors, but also interpreters working for the U.S. military ... whose families have been tortured, he said. 'One interpreter found two brothers and a cousin stuffed in a well' ... U.S. troops have proved unable to stop it. The threat has moved inside military bases in Mosul, places usually considered sanctuaries against the guerrillas. A suicide bomber killed 14 U.S. soldiers last month in a blast at the mess hall at Forward Operating Base Marez."

Lt. Col. McCaffrey often wonders how history will judge the U.S. mission in Iraq ... 'There's a sense of I'm not going to quit now because we've invested American blood ... You look at our history: We don't have much glowing success with combating insurgencies."

NEWS BRIEF: "Six American soldiers killed in Baghdad", Arabic News, 1/26/2005

"Attacks and explosions continued in the past hours in various parts of Iraq, the last of which was the killing of 11 Iraqi policemen at least in violent clashes with gunmen to the east of Baghdad ... the clashes erupted when the policemen opened fire at gunmen while circulating publications in al-Rashad quarters warning citizens against the consequences of voting in the legislative elections due to be held by the end of this month."

NEWS BRIEF: "11 Iraqi Policemen Killed in Baghdad Clashes", Associated Press, Jan 25, 2005

"BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - At least 11 Iraqi policemen were killed in fierce clashes Tuesday in eastern Baghdad ... Armed men lured police into a trap with a decoy car bomb and then opened fire, killing seven of the officers ... A bomb also blew off the gate of a secondary school and gunmen opened fire on Iraqi and U.S. forces responding to the blast. A witnesses said two Iraqi policemen and an insurgent were killed."

A couple of weeks ago, we posted an article in Daily News Updates which stated that the cost for the Iraq War during this coming year was not in the budget Bush proposed to Congress. This week, Bush sent his funding request through as a separate budget item.

NEWS BRIEF: "Bush Wants $80 Billion More for Iraq, Afghan", By Alan Fram, Associated Press, January 25, 2005

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush is getting ready to ask Congress for an additional $80 billion for conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, as budget analysts prepare new estimates of the federal deficits that would have loomed even without the wars ... An $80 billion request would push the total provided to the Defense Department so far for those wars and for U.S. efforts against terrorism elsewhere in the world to more than $280 billion. An additional $25 billion has been provided to rebuild Iraq and Afghanistan, all but $4 billion for Iraq ... about three-fourths of the $80 billion was expected to be for the Army, which is bearing the brunt of the fighting in Iraq. It also was expected to include money for building a U.S. embassy in Baghdad, estimated to cost $1.5 billion."

NEWS BRIEF: "Grand Ayatollah Is Key Figure in Iraq Vote", The Scotsman, 26 January 2005

"Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani is by far the dominant figure in the vote and the slate of candidates he has endorsed is likely to fare best in Iraq’s national elections ... But it also raises questions about the consequences of one man mustering so much power in a country that lacks democratic traditions ... Al-Sistani’s foray into politics ... has given the January 30 election a religious slant and encouraged militant Arab Sunnis to level charges that the Shiites, with the blessings of al-Sistani, were seeking to monopolise political power in Iraq ... Minority Sunni Arabs are not expected to participate in large numbers because they fear attacks by insurgents or to protest the presence of foreign troops in Iraq."

"... Iraq’s Shiites are embracing the weekend vote in the hope that it would give them the power they have been denied for generations by the Sunni Arabs ... Sunni Arabs also see the vote as confirmation of their loss of position in the new Iraq. By contrast, the Kurds in the north are keen on the vote to assert their role as possible kingmakers and to gain the influence needed in Baghdad to press their demands for autonomy.Religion moved to the heart of politics in post-war Iraq, with clergy-laymen alliances proving to be far more effective than mainstream political parties. In this new climate, al-Sistani stands head and shoulders above all others." (Ibid.)

Now that we know that the election is likely to give the majority of power to the Shi'ite party, let us review the next article for an even greater surprise.

II. An American sponsored pre-election poll revealed a surprising election result which just might shake the world.

NEWS BRIEF: "Iraqi Poll’s Winners and Losers - According to US Forecast", DEBKAfile, January 27, 2005

"Despite the Iraqi Sunni boycott, al-Zarqawi’s imprecations against the general election, and the unprecedented level of bloodletting, an certain number of the 40,000 polling stations across the country will almost certainly open on time Sunday, January 30 ... That was one of the starting points on which Gregory Hooker, chief analyst of CENTCOM, the American command running the war in Iraq, presupposed his detailed forecast of election results. This forecast (was) commissioned by CENTOM commander General John Abizaid .... The Hooker forecast is essentially a simulation exercise based on US and Iraqi intelligence data gathered in the last six months, together with estimates of opinion openly canvassed in towns up and down the country."

At this point, DEBKAfile listed all the various parties running, and there are 111 political entities and 7,785 candidates. The most interesting points are the summations revealed by this American poll. Listen:

* There are two major political blocs – Shiite and Kurdish

* Interim PM Allawi’s party, the Iraqi National Accord – INC, submitted a 240-candidate coalition while the current Interim President submitted his own slate, comprised of 80 members.

* For elections held now, Hooker projects the following figures:

Therefore, our own polling data reveals that the Interim Prime Minister, Allawi, and his party, will only get 8.1% of the total vote! After all the fighting, and all the times when Allawi gave Coalition Forces the "permission" to attack and devastate towns and cities throughout Iraq, an honest vote will garner only 8.1% support for the American-backed Allawi.

This kind of defeat for the Iraqi politicians who are looked upon as being "lackeys" of the American government could very well be devastating! If Allawi's party goes down to this kind of shattering defeat, once the new Shi'ite-dominated government takes power, Allawi and his key leaders might very well be arrested and tried and executed for the crime of cooperating with the Americans.

If this scenario actually occurs, you can understand why Allawi's government pulled $300-$500 million out of Iraqi banks, stuff the cash into boxes, and fly the money to Lebanon on a government charter plane. We posted an article on this subject:

The idea that Allawi and his people might be planning a rush exodus if the election is counted fairly is reinforced by the next information from this DEBKAfile article.

"The first conclusion reached by our analysts is that, while the leading Shiite UIA bloc can expect to be the big winner of the election, the real victor will be the Shiite cleric who assembled and founded the alliance, Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani and his inner circle ... Sistani wants to see non-clerical ministers in the post-election government but will insist on incorporating Islamic law as the basis of the national constitution."

If Iraq's next government is truly based upon Islamic law, then the Liberal, non-religious Allawi and his party will face some very tough times, indeed. Islamic law is known to be very harsh and very unforgiving. Because the Interim Prime Minister Allawi aided the Americans in their terrible war against Iraqi civilians, including the poison of Depleted Uranium, they might very well be considered traitors to the Iraqi people, and dealt with accordingly.

The last thing in the world Allawi wants to hear is that the elections might be fairly counted and that the Americans might leave. With this idea in mind, you can understand why the Prime Minister was so adamantly opposed to any talk of a US withdrawal.

NEWS BRIEF: "Allawi warning on coalition exit", The Scotsman, 26 Jan 2005

"IRAQ’S interim prime minister warned yesterday that talk of coalition troops withdrawing from his country on any set date was 'futile and dangerous' ... Mr Allawi outlined plans for Iraqi forces gradually to take over security from US-led troops - if he stays in power. However, he refused to set a date for their exit."

Meanwhile, Sunni militants are demanding that all Sunni voters stay away from the polls in order to not bestow an air of legitimacy upon the Bush war and because the election was going to be rigged anyway!

NEWS BRIEF: "Arab press pessimism over Iraq elections", BBC News, 26 January 2005

"Re-electing Bush in Iraq - Any Iraqi voter who casts his vote will be giving it to the US president and will be giving the occupation the legitimacy it has been searching for. The candidates are competing to win votes which have already been counted and decided."

One thing is certain: the days, weeks and months after the election are going to be crucial and full of suspense. If President Bush allows the votes to be fully counted, that means the religious Shi'ite Party takes power, and that may mean a demand for America to leave. If the announced election results give the victory to PM Allawi, after the worldwide publication of this US election poll, Iraq may have the civil war about which everyone is speaking.

III. Has Russia's President Putin worked to checkmate America in the Middle East?

Before you read this section, you might want to read our article on this subject, "RUSSIAN CHECKMATE IN THE MIDDLE EAST?"

The major premise in our article, above, is that Russia has apparently assumed protection responsibility for the Iranian nuclear power and enrichment facilities which were built by Russian money, but which are now being threatened by President Bush and Israeli Prime Minister Sharon. Nearly every day now, some American or Israeli leader is breathing fire and brimstone against Iran.

In fact, the current rhetoric is even hotter and more frequent than it was in the Summer and Fall of 2003, as a check with our Daily News Update Archives reveals. During this time frame, both Syria and Iran were being threatened with the message, "You're Next"!

The DEBKAfile article on which we based our analysis stated that, now that Russia has completed installing the anti-aircraft defenses in Iran, they are now going to install them in Syria. Since much of this air defense system is mobile, the time frame to complete the Syrian portion need not be that long. Once this system is in place, in both Syria and Iran, American aircraft is vulnerable to sophisticated Russian anti-aircraft radar which would border Iraq on both the East and the West.

An American attack on either Iran or Syria would likely result in Russian military casualties and could very well be construed as being an attack on Russia herself. An article last week stated that Russia was negotiating the same type of defense and economic treaty which the Soviet Union had with the various Arab states. If this means that the old Mutual Defense Treaty is now in place, Russia is obligated to come to Iran's aid to repel any type of attack. This new anti-aircraft defense, back by the missiles, is probably a reflection of the presence of the Mutual Defense Treaty.

However, Iran has one more strong protector -- China. Dr. Dennis Cuddy brought this fact to my attention. China has made it quite clear to President Bush that they will react very strongly to an attack on Iran, even to the point of canceling huge numbers of contracts American firms now enjoy in China. You see, a few months ago, China signed a mega-billion dollar oil and gas deal with Iran.

Therefore, Iran has Chinese diplomatic and economic power on her side, while she has sophisticated Russian anti-aircraft systems on the ground, ready to spring into action at a moment's notice. Finally, as we have pointed out, Iran may have the protection of Biblical prophecy, as her present government is exactly the type of government (Anti-Western, Anti-Israel) we would expect Iran to have when she allies herself with Russia to march against Israel in fulfillment in Ezekiel 38-39. While we may attack her facilities and other key targets, we doubt that such attacks will result in the overthrow of the Iranian government and the installation of a Pro-Western government.

Finally, we may be witnessing the beginning of the long-awaited Russian intrusion into the Middle East. These defense agreements with Iran and Syria may be the start of the Russian intrusion into the entire area.

One of the major worries about the Russian deal with Iran and Syria is that it reportedly involves shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles, which American military experts are concerned might be shipped to the Iraqi insurgents. Certainly, if the insurgents possessed these sophisticated shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles, they could either erase or substantially reduce America's advantage from the air.

All sorts of aircraft would be vulnerable: Fixed-wing fighters and bombers; C-130 Gunships; helicopters; transport planes. With this thought in mind, consider this late-breaking article.

NEWS BRIEF: "US Copter Downed By Surface-To-Air Missile - Witnesses", Daily Dispatch, South Africa, reprinted in Rense.com, 1-27-2005

"BAGHDAD (Sapa-AFP) -- At least 31 US Marines were killed in a US transport helicopter crash near the western Iraqi city of Rutbah, according to military and media reports yesterday. It is the highest number of US fatalities to result from a single incident since the US first occupied Iraq almost two years ago ... Witnesses said the helicopter appeared to have been hit by a surface-to-air missile and exploded on hitting the ground. A second helicopter also came under fire but was able to reach safety, the witnesses said."

If Iraqi insurgents now have shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles in sufficient quantities, they could drastically change the complexion of the war now raging in Iraq. With Rumsfeld warning that violence could actually increase after the election, we might possibly face the prospect of a Tet-type offensive suddenly being launched, with American casualties skyrocketing.

IV. During the Inauguration, President Bush and members of his family, were seen flashing the devil's sign of Il Cornunto. We have seen Bush flash this sign on previous occasions, but never reported it, because he and his supporters could easily claim this was just the Texas Longhorns, "Hook-em-Horns" symbol, thus easily discrediting our real facts regarding his occultic Illuminism.

As you can see from the picture to the left, President and Laura are most definitely flashing the devil's sign called "Il Cornuto", one of the most evil signs in Witchcraft. However, the Texas Longhorn's symbol is nearly identical, enough to cause confusion over whether he was giving the sign of the Devil, or merely showing off his Texas pride.

In the Fall, 2002, I was going to write an article about Bush's flashing of this witchcraft sign, but the Saturday before I was going to create the article, I was watching college football. The University of Texas was playing; after they scored a touchdown, the camera panned to the audience as they cheered gustily. Thousands upon thousands of fans suddenly began sporting the "Hook-em-Horns" symbol, which looked for all the world like the sign of "Il Cornuto".

Of course, why should I have been surprised, for the state of Texas was founded by Masons and has basically been run by Masons ever since. Freemasonry is exceedingly strong in Texas. Therefore, we should not be surprised that the University of Texas would create this type of symbol.

This latter reality is what set Norwegians off against President Bush and his family when they flashed this sign.

"OSLO, Norway Jan 21, 2005 — President Bush's "Hook 'em, 'horns' salute got lost in translation in Norway, where shocked people interpreted his hand gesture during his inauguration as a salute to Satan. That's what it means in the Nordics when you throw up the right hand with the index and pinky fingers raised, a gesture popular among heavy metal groups and their fans in the region ... For Texans, the gesture is a sign of love for the University of Texas Longhorns, whose fans are known to shout out 'Hook 'em, 'horns!' at sporting events. Bush, a former Texas governor, and his family made the sign to greet the Longhorn marching band as it passed during the inaugural parade through Washington during Thursday's festivities ..."

The fact that President Bush and his family made these gestures when the Texas Longhorn band was marching past the reviewing stand make it likely that the gesture was visibly meant to convey "Hook-em-Horns". However, as we stated, above, Texas is a long-term Masonic state, and remember also that this President is an unrepentant Skull & Bones Adept, a very Black Magick secret society. Therefore, Bush likely is very familiar with the sign of Il Cornuto!

V. Latest tsunami death toll is grim, as Indian Daily protests Weather Modification in the Indian Ocean region.

Gradually, people in India are waking up to the realization that weather modification is real, does work, and is being used in that region of the world. We shall present two articles on this subject matter, the first one speaking to the reality of weather modification and the second to the fact that something strange is occurring in the tectonic plates in that region.

NEWS BRIEF: "India weary about using earth’s atmosphere for military purpose especially HAARP and their impacts in South Asia", India Daily, January 24, 2005

"Currently, there are dozens of nations operating more than 100 weather modification projects, particularly in arid and semi-arid regions all over the world ... In addition there are unclassified military projects in America, Russia, China, Japan, Europe and India that plan to use weather and climate to defeat the enemy. The HAARP project is significant. HAARP stands for High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program. According to a report prepared by Rosalie Bertell, Ph.D., GNSH, the HAARP Program is jointly managed by the US Air Force and the US Navy, and is based in Gakona, Alaska ... Many other countries are conducting many other weather manipulation experiments."

This article is correct as far as it goes; however, it takes no note of the even more advanced Russian system called "Scalar Waves", which according to NBC Weather Anchorman, Scott Stevens, is the technology controlling all the world's weather every second of every day. Now, let us examine a more recent article from India Daily, as they report some strange happenings in the tectonic plates in the entire region.

NEWS BRIEF: "Another 5.6 Richter earthquake in Tsunami hit Nicobar Island – something strange happening in the tectonic plates", India Daily, January 27, 2005

"The bizarre pattern of aftershocks ranging between 5.2 and 6.2 Richter continues in the Tsunami hit Nicobar island of India. According to PTI, another earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale hit India's Nicobar Islands today ... The earthquake was recorded at 0536 GMT with its epicenter about 345 kilometers northeast of Banda Aceh in Indonesia's Aceh province ... The tribal people are saying that many miles below the earth’s surface, something is happening they never experienced before. According to sources, the tectonic level disturbances based on recorded and plotted aftershock quakes, are very slowly moving northwards towards Assam in India .... A theory exist that says the recent massive earth quake in northeast of Banda Aceh in Indonesia's Aceh province really has its roots in the series of earthquakes in Assam over the last three years. It seems the Andaman plate line of 700 miles may be collapsing. That will be a much larger catastrophe."

This entire rocking and shaking of this Indian Ocean region may not be over yet. Either the pinging from HAARP and/or Scalar electromagnetic waves is continuing, or the tectonic plates damaged in the region from the 9.2 quake on 12/26/2004 are continuing to move. If this is true, the world may yet see even more tragedy and death toll.

Weather modification is one of the great tools the Illuminati possesses to change societies on a massive scale. Remember their time-honored motto: "Order Out of Chaos".

VI. The sordid news concerning the torture and sexual humiliation scandal continued to rear its ugly head last week. Let us start with a report of the sexual humiliation techniques used against a legally innocent"suspect", Mr. Habib of Australia. Remember that the Muslim religion is very sensitive to sexual matters, causing an observant Muslim great mental and emotional anguish when he is subjected to sexual experiences which go against Islam.

NEWS BRIEF: "Prostitute used in Habib torture: Lawyer", smh.com.au News, January 27, 2005

"Mamdouh Habib was the victim of atrocities fit for a concentration camp, including being tied to the ground while a prostitute menstruated on him, his lawyer (Steven Hopper) said yesterday ... Mr Hopper said yesterday: 'The Americans used prostitutes as tools in their interrogations. They'd say to detainees 'If you co-operate with us, we'll let you at this woman for the night'. And if they wouldn't agree they'd use them in other ways' ... The (Australian) Federal Government said it was aware of similar allegations of torture made by former British detainees at Guantanamo Bay..."

This is shocking treatment by an army of a supposed christian nation led by a supposed christian president! We have been following this issue since the original story broke on April 20, 2004, and have repeatedly reported many stories and testimonies which indicate that the responsibility for these tortures goes straight to Defense Secretary Rumsfeld. Further, Brigadier Janice Karpinski, who was in charge of Abu Ghraib prison, said the chain of guilt goes to the White House. Remember, the theory was that certain kinds of torture would impact an observant Muslim that would not have bothered someone of a different religion. We reported, beginning in early May, 2004, that the different types of torture reported by Seymour Hersch in the New Yorker Magazine seemed specifically designed to cause anguish to Muslim men.

This type of activity -- having a common woman spill her menstrual blood on a Muslim man -- is strictly forbidden in Islam.

But, the tortures against Mr. Habib continued; prepare to be shocked.

"Interrogators at the US prison camp at Guantanamo Bay had also told the Sydney man they had killed his family and superimposed animal heads on photos of his wife and children ... officials at the base also defaced photos of Mr Habib's wife, Maha, and their four children.

"The Americans in their wisdom have taken the heads off the pictures, enlarged them and superimposed them with the heads of animals and then strung them up all over the walls of the interrogation room', he said. 'As they sat there talking to Mamdouh asking him about his terrorist activities, they held up a picture of Maha and said, 'It's a shame we had to kill your family, it's a shame you will never see these people again' ... while in Egypt, ... he was suspended from the ceiling with only an electrified barrel to stand on. 'He would stand and get a shock or hang painfully by his arms until he'd collapse' ... He was blindfolded and locked in rooms that were flooded with water and charged with electricity, Mr Hopper said." (Ibid.)

Once again, these are "interrogation techniques" almost beyond belief, especially by earnest, genuinely saved Christians. Even when you acknowledge that President Bush is not Born Again, is he capable of presiding over such monstrosity? Unfortunately, the answer appears to be "Yes", as he deliberately threw out all normal conventions and standards after the 9/11 attacks, saying again and again that "9/11 changed everything".

But, an equally damaging fact is that American authorities recently released Mr. Habib without charges, which means they had no evidence which would stand up in court! Yet, we tortured him like this, and yet we are planning even more facilities off America's shores which would indefinitely hold people not accused and not fairly tried. The wickedness of it all is simply beyond normal comprehension!

But, the news just gets worse:

NEWS BRIEF: "Isolation, breakdowns and mysterious injections" The Guardian (London), January 26, 2005

"One of the four men who returned to Britain yesterday after three years in Guantánamo Bay allegedly suffered a series of mental breakdowns and was repeatedly injected with an unknown substance by his US captors ... Mr Abbasi is alleged to have been kept in isolation for 18 months and was left so traumatized that he suffered hallucinations and panic attacks ... He was repeatedly injected with an unknown substance that triggered psychosis ... He feared he would be beaten if he refused to comply with his captors ... Ms Gutierrez, whose comments are subject to US military censorship, told the Guardian her client was showing clear signs of the debilitating post-traumatic stress disorder and suffering from panic attacks ... He had periods of psychosis that corresponded with the injections." Three British detainees released last year also said they had been given mystery injections."

No one can be sure what these injections were, but as Ms Gutierrez noted, these men then passed into mental psychosis after receiving these injections. Human rights abuses like this are greatly enraging the Muslim world. Even if we were to pull out of Iraq now, our legacy of civilian murder, torture and sexual humiliation of Islamic prisoners, the killing of 100,000 Iraqi civilians, and the spreading of deadly Depleted Uranium would guarantee extreme hatred amongst Muslims for generations to come. When the time comes for Israel to battle her Arab neighbors to start the planned World War III, the entire Muslim world will hate anything Western. At that moment, the entire Islamic will be so angry they will want to destroy America's ally, Israel.

At that moment, Zechariah 12 will come true: "And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it ... in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem." [Zech 12:9, 13]

Can you hear the hatred of the peoples of the world against Jerusalem? Will these many deliberate offenses we have carried out against Muslims pay a major part in generating this kind of hatred?

VII. Israel is now suddenly playing the "Peace Game" with Palestinian new Chairman

NEWS BRIEF: "Momentum gains for Israeli peace deal", Business Day, 28 January 2005

"JERUSALEM Israel and the Palestinian Authority resumed diplomatic contacts yesterday after a two-week freeze, and Israel agreed to suspend targeted killings of Palestinian militants two more steps towards a cease-fire and a resumption of peace talks ... it appeared unlikely the violence would slow the momentum towards a truce. Israeli and Palestinian officials held meetings yesterday, both to prepare for a summit between the Israeli and Palestinian leaders, and to finalize a plan for Palestinian police deployment in the central and southern Gaza Strip today. Also, a senior US envoy, William Burns, was due to arrive later yesterday for talks with top Israeli and Palestinian officials on an emerging cease-fire deal."

President Bush signaled his determination that the "Roadmap" created by the Quartet of Nations (US, Great Britain, Russia, and the E.U.) would be carried out, bringing a Palestinian State into creation, thus allowing Israel to totally withdraw from the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. The new Chairman Abbas could look like a hero to the Palestinians, while Sharon-Peres would gain a great deal of international backing and goodwill for their plan to withdraw. For once, the situation was "Win-Win" in the short term.

Prime Minister Sharon was effusive in his praise for this moment.

NEWS BRIEF: "PM Sharon: Conditions ripe for historic breakthrough", Haaretz News, 28/01/2005

"Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, voicing a rare burst of optimism Thursday over prospects for diplomatic progress, declared that conditions were now ripe for a "historic breakthrough" between Israel and the Palestinians. Sharon spoke as the Palestinian Authority issued a weapons ban to curtail the widespread bearing of arms in the Palestinian population. The PA also named as its new over-all security chief Nasser Yusef, a tough official who had in the past led crackdowns on militants in the territories."

While other Israeli leaders voiced skepticism, the Sharon-Peres team forged on, heaping praise upon the paper-thin ceasefire which Palestinian Chairman Abbas forged with Hamas. Let us go to a news story now which tells us exactly what kind of ceasefire to which Abbas and the terrorist group, Hamas, agreed. Remember, Abbas was Arafat's Number One deputy for almost 30 years, so his terrorist credentials are well known.

NEWS BRIEF: "Abbas says deal with groups 'very close' ", The Jerusalem Post, January 23, 2005

"Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) on Sunday evening said that he was "very close" to reaching a 'hudna' (cease-fire with Israel) agreement with Palestinian factions ... According to Abbas, who spoke with Palestinian TV, 'Everyone feels that it is important to put an end to the current situation'."

What is the current situation to which Abbas referred? The current situation involves the IDF repeatedly invading sections of the Palestinian cities and towns, rooting out terrorists, destroying smuggling tunnels and confiscating military arms and supplies of bombs. Oh, yes, let us not forget how effective the IDF has shown itself to be in killing individual terrorist leaders in their cars as they drive to or from work, in their offices and sometimes in the streets. Hamas and Islamic Jihad have suffered great losses of leadership talent through these "targeted killings".

Lastly, the "current situation" so intolerable to Palestinians is Israeli control over territory occupied by Palestinian people. A strong desire exists to get Israel out of these areas and to declare a Palestinian State. Toward this end, Abbas and Hamas are willing to declare a "Hudna" ceasefire? This term is strictly Islamic and few people understand what it means.

"Hudna," viewed in Arab Islamic folklore and defined in Islamic law as a respite between battles in a longer war against non-Arab Islamic infidels who are not a party to any such hudna. A hudna agreement is usually entered into when the Arabs are facing a superior enemy. The purpose of a hudna ceasefire is to avoid being annihilated by the superior army until the Islamic forces can strengthen to the point it can suddenly attack and destroy the enemy.

An Israeli joke now making the rounds in Jerusalem goes like this: An Israeli asks an Arab what a "hudna" is and is told, "Put your gun aside and wait for a few moments while I reload and re-aim ". This is the essence of a "Hudna" -- a totally lopsided agreement.

Further, all Islamic parties to a Hudna understand that it can be dissolved at a moment's notice. It is a sign of the insanity of the times for Prime Minister Sharon and his Deputy, Shimon Peres, to give such praise for such a transparent "peace". What Israel needs right now is international and domestic support for her Unilateral Disengagement policies. By agreeing to "give peace a chance" now that the new Palestinian Chairman has taken office, Israel is garnering immense domestic support and international support.

One other positive part of any ceasefire is that Sharon-Peres can carry out their withdrawal and forced evacuation in a period of calm. If the withdrawal were to occur while the Palestinian terrorists were firing at Israeli forces, Sharon-Peres would be accused to retreating while under hostile fire! Such a perception could doom the evacuation plan, which was originally conceived in the 1992 Oslo Accords.

When the "Hudna" ceasefire is finally broken, the violence and murder resumes, no one can blame the Israeli government, for they can say they tried their best to have peace. After such peace posturing, Israel might even be forgiven by many in the world for annihilating the Palestinian people (NEWS1422 and NEWS1620).

VHS or DVD VIII. Sharon-Peres Disengagement -- The Beginning of the Beginning

Even as Israel was talking "peace" and a "ceasefire", the Sharon-Peres team began earnest preparations for carrying out the forced evacuations of those settlements now in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

NEWS BRIEF: "Israel disbands ultra-orthodox army units: Move to prevent mutinies over Gaza withdrawal", The Guardian (London), January 27, 2005

"The Israeli military is to disband some religious army units amid growing resistance among soldiers to removing Jewish settlers from the Gaza strip later this year. The army denies that the move was prompted by concern over defiance among religious and rightwing troops of the first forcible removal of settlers from the Palestinian territories. But Israeli MPs and rabbis have accused the military of planning to disperse soldiers likely to dissent as the army grapples with a growing split over Ariel Sharon's plan to move all 8,000 settlers out of Gaza."

You have to give the IDF credit for a combination of brains and guts. Recognizing that many devoutly religious soldiers were not going to obey orders to forcibly evict Jewish settlers, the IDF simply disbanded the units in which those soldiers predominated. This news story seems to imply that entire IDF units were created with devout Jewish soldiers, while others were created with secular, non-observant Jewish soldiers.

To further complicate matters, the terrorist group, Hamas, won landslide electoral victories in special elections in the Gaza territories, thus cementing the perception that ordinary Palestinians heavily support the ultimate Hamas goal of annihilating Israel.

NEWS BRIEF: "Landslide Win For Hamas in Gaza", Israel National News, Jan. 28, '05

"Unofficial results in Gaza local elections award Hamas terrorists two-thirds of the seats and give them a giant card for them to play in gaining concessions from the PA's ruling Fatah party ... the dominant party in the Palestinian Authority ... The apparent victory for Hamas spells trouble for Abu Mazen, who has been trying to convince the terrorist organization to halt all attacks against Israelis. Hamas has agreed to a "cooling-down" period only on the condition that Israel frees Arab prisoners."

Believe me, no genuine, lasting peace will occur. A quick check of Joel 3 reveals that, once Israel is returned to her land (Verse 1), only war will rule in the Middle East until all God's judgments are completed. As far as a Palestinian State is concerned, one may be proclaimed, but such a proclamation will be temporary and hollow. What does prophecy say? In Isaiah 34, where God pronounces His verdict against "Edom, the descendents of Esau" -- today's Palestinians), God foretells:

"And He will stretch over it [Edom] the measuring line of confusion and the plummet stones of chaos over its nobles. They shall proclaim the kingdom, but nothing shall be there, and its princes shall be no more." [Isaiah 34:11b-12; Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary]

One day, President Bush, Prime Ministers Sharon-Peres, and Palestinian Chairman Abbas may proclaim a kingdom, but there shall be nothing there and the proclaimed state will quickly disappear as Israel carries out her annihilation in fulfillment of Obadiah 15-18, as we explain in NEWS1422 and NEWS1620, hotlinked above.

X. Non-Integrating Nation Venezuela -- Still a US target

Now that President Bush has won re-election and has been inaugurated, he is apparently turning his attention to the Non-Integrating nations of the world, attempting to force them into making the necessary changes to become "Core Functioning" nations, through a "Regime Change" if necessary.

For much of the past year, American CIA has been actively working in Venezuela, trying to overthrow the Leftist President, Chavez. CIA political turmoil was strong enough to force Chavez to hold special elections, but not strong enough to force him from power. Now that Chavez is trying to wreak his revenge through denying Venezuelan oil to us, the CIA seems trying to force a war between Venezuela and our client state in the region, Columbia.

Let us now review this breaking news story.

NEWS BRIEF: "US action may be in Venezuela with a start of Venezuela-Colombia war", VHeadline.com, January 23, 2005

"India Daily special correspondent Balaji Reddy writes: While all eyes are on possible American actions in Iran and Syria, the real ball game this time is happening in Venezuela-Colombia area. US Secretary of State-designate Condoleezza Rice had harsh words for Venezuela's Government in her recent hearings before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Rice's criticism of Chavez came amid an escalating diplomatic confrontation between Colombia and Venezuela over the abduction of a Colombian rebel leader in downtown Caracas on December 13, 2004.

"It is almost Iraq-Kuwait confrontation of 1990. If Venezuela can be made to attack Colombia, all hell will break lose. Colombian President Alvaro Uribe Velez has charged the Chavez government with harboring "terrorists" -- leaders of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) -- in Venezuelan territory. US Ambassador to Colombia William Wood has expressed the Bush administration's support for Uribe's government in this dispute and has urged Chavez to "clarify" where Venezuela stands on fighting terrorism ... Izarra also said several fugitive Venezuelan Generals wanted for military rebellion and treason are hiding in Colombia."

"According to international think tank Stratfor, Colombian police trained by US instructors executed the abduction in Caracas of FARC leader Rodrigo Granda ... and it is likely the United States helped to generate some of the intelligence that allowed Granda's location to be pinpointed. US officials might deny this officially, but sources in Bogota and Caracas agree there was some degree of US involvement in Granda's abduction. Should the US government disclose smoking-gun evidence that Chavez has been harboring wanted militants in Venezuela, it could possibly generate some traction regionally against the Venezuelan leader."

Can you see the hand of the CIA in all of this subterfuge? If the United States could ignite a war between Columbia and Venezuela, the Bush Administration could possibly build a rhetorical case for American Naval and Marine intervention. Or, we could just supply arms, logistics and some limited manpower to a Columbian Army already equipped and trained by the Americans.

Events could spiral out of control very rapidly.

XI. Micro-Finance -- Confessions of an economic hit man

"This is what we EHMs (Economic Hit Men) do best: we build a global empire. We are an elite group of men and women who utilize international financial organizations to foment conditions that make other nations subservient to the corporatocracy running our biggest corporations, our government, and our banks. Like our counterparts in the Mafia, EHMs provide favors. These take the form of loans to develop infrastructure -- electric generating plants, highways, ports, airports, or industrial parks. A condition of such loans is that engineering and construction companies from our own country must build all these projects. In essence, most of the money never leaves the United States; it is simply transferred from banking offices in Washington to engineering offices in New York, Houston, or San Francisco.

"Despite the fact that the money is returned almost immediately to corporations that are members of the corporatocracy (the creditor), the recipient country is required to pay it all back, principal plus interest. If an EHM is successful, the loans are so large that the debtor is forced to default on its payments after a few years. When that happens, then like the Mafia, we demand our pound of flesh. This often includes one or more of the following: control over United Nations votes, installation of military bases, access to precious resources such as oil or the Panama Canal. With this information as background, you will more easily understand the import of these articles.

NEWS BRIEF: "Microfinance is now more than microcredit in developing countries, World Bank says", UN News Centre, 24 January 2005

"The financial system that started off decades ago as just small loans to the poor has expanded into such diverse small-scale services for its clients as providing credit cards, setting up saving programmes that identify illiterate clients by a fingerprint and having audited financial standards for microfinance institutions, a World Bank executive said. Outlining the financial services needs of poor people, World Bank director Elizabeth Littlefield told a symposium held over the weekend at the United Nations that in addition to loans, they need a safe place to save, not a coffee container that they bury in the dirt."

As you can see, this "progress" is propelling these poor nations to adopt the practices and institutions of the Developed World. At the end of this road, these poor nations will possess the technical capability which will allow them to establish the kind of cashless economy "whereby no man may buy or sell save he that has the mark". At least, that is the plan.

Listen now to the extent of this Micro-Financing in developing states.

"... some developing countries' savings banks and post office banks have some 750 million accounts and even when they are loss-making, these institutions sometimes have countrywide infrastructures. The institutions, which should take a position at the centre of their countries' financial policies and banking legislation, have been building diverse banking models, forming a "collage of competition" and innovation, and overlapping in soliciting poor people as customers ... In 50 countries, governments or central banks are implementing policies for microfinance institutions (MFIs) and a dozen financial agencies are now rating them ... In a dozen countries MFIs are issuing their own Visa and MasterCard credit cards and some, such as ADOPEM, the affiliate of Women's World Banking in the Dominican Republic, are using international ATM networks where the user pushes the button of the person dressed like herself and the machine addresses her in her language.

"In some countries, like Brazil and South Africa, the state bank is using lottery kiosks or retail shopping networks for point-of-sale (PoS) banking ... The average rate of return on equity (ROE) is high at 32 per cent and the average increase in borrowers is 25 per cent per annum ... the policies of middle-income countries, such as Turkey and Mexico, would diverge from those of poor countries, such as Uganda and Benin, and that the more efficient institutions eventually would buy out the weaker ones. With international aid flowing once again toward an interim government that has the blessing of the United States and the support of more than 8,000 UN peacekeeping soldiers and police, aid organizations are looking to microfinance -- loans to small-business owners -- as a key to rebuilding this devastated nation.

"But among Haiti's poorest, many are wary of the loans ... (are) not interested in applying for the $81 start-up loan because ... (they are ) afraid of going into debt ... Increasingly, specialists in microfinance see such fears as legitimate ... Fonkoze director Anne Hastings said she would be the first to warn of the limits of microfinance, especially in Haiti, beset by staggering poverty and crippling natural disasters: 'We're really reaching primarily the upper half of those who are in poverty. Now, we know from "Confessions of An Economic Hit Man" just how much of a planned burden these loans truly are supposed to be on the "poorest of the poor" nations. Just as political pressure is being applied by the Bush Administration against Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, and Venezuela, economic pressure is ruthlessly being applied daily to Non-Integrating nations, trying to force them into the "Core States" grouping.

The world is moving as rapidly as the Illuminati uses all means at its disposal to create their global Economy, Government and Religion so their Masonic Christ can appear.

XII. The Reverend Billy Graham shockingly led the nation in an interfaith, ecumenical prayer service dedicated to Bush's second term as President.

"WASHINGTON (AP) — President Bush set forth on an ambitious second-term agenda of reshaping Social Security and sparking democracy in the Middle East after wrapping up his inaugural on Friday with moments of prayer and reflection ... Four days of celebrations surrounding Bush's inauguration culminated with a National Prayer Service on Friday, following a tradition set by the nation's first chief executive, George Washington ... Instrumental and choral music filled the church and an interfaith lineup of Christian, Jewish and Muslim clergy helped celebrate through prayer the events of the day before — Bush's swearing-in at the Capitol. Offering one prayer, the Rev. Billy Graham said he believed God had a hand in Bush's re-election."

Once again, we come face-to-face with Billy Graham's demonstrated willingness to participate in ecumenical worship and prayer services. The New World Order is depending greatly on the spirit of ecumenism to convert the world to the One-World Religion of Antichrist and the False Prophet.

Lest anyone think that this is the first time Dr. Graham has participated in an ecumenical service, we take you back to late August, 2000, where the three planned conferences were being held at the United Nations for the express purpose of giving "birth" to the New World Order. At this meeting, Dr. Graham sent a message to these global religious leaders -- from Catholics to Buddhists to Hindus to Witchdoctors -- to be given by his daughter. Anne Graham Lotz delivered Reverend Graham's message of hope and conciliation to one of the greatest gatherings of false religious leaders the world has ever seen.

During that dark religious hour, Billy Graham used the power and prestige of his office to mightily advance the New World Order.

However, Dr. Graham's support of the New World Order began a whole lot earlier than August, 2000. Billy Graham soiled his ministry badly when he went trooping up to the White House in January, 1992, to have prayer with President Bush just before America began the air war over Iraq. Graham knew, like every American, that President Bush had declared the Iraqi war a "New World Order" war in his August, 1991, speech. If we assume Graham was even nominally knowledgeable about the Antichrist nature of the New World Order, he would have naturally refused to lend the credence of his ministry to this war!

In fact, as Billy Graham came out of the White House after his "prayer" with President Bush (Senior), he approvingly mentioned the New World Order! Listen:

The psalmist said, "Sing unto the Lord a new song; sing unto the Lord, all the earth. Sing unto the Lord, bless His name; show forth His salvation from day to day."

The songs of Zion have been such a blessing to the spread of the Gospel and Bible Christianity has radiated the glad sounds of rejoicing. Tragically, by the early days of the Twenty-first Century, many of the songs of Christendom have taken on the cadence and cacophony of the world. Rather than exalting the Savior, it seems that the "performer" is the one who is center stage.

Robert Lowry has been spoken of as "beyond doubt one of the world's great orators as well as being its leading hymn writer. His great hymns, such as "We're Marching To Zion", "Christ Arose", "What Can Wash Away My Sin?" and "All The Way My Savior Leads Me", have lived in the hearts of God's people for over a century.

Robert Lowry was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on March 12, 1826 ... When he was seventeen years of age, young Robert came under conviction and was gloriously converted ... he was baptized on April 23, 1843, by Dr. George B. Ide, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Philadelphia ... Dr. Ide was a trustee in the newly formed college at Lewisburg, Pennsylvania (now Bucknell University) and he encouraged Robert Lowry toward enrollment there. In 1848 Robert entered that college and graduated in 1854, receiving valedictory honors ... In 1861, Pastor Lowry was ordained and called to pastor the Hanson Place Baptist Church of Brooklyn, New York, and it was there that Lowry composed his celebrated hymn, "Shall We Gather At The River?"

He wrote the words when he was the pastor in Brooklyn on a hot July day in 1864. A very severe epidemic was raging in Brooklyn and hundreds were passing over the river of death. Dr. Lowry was thinking of the sad scenes all around him when the question arose in his mind, "Shall we ever meet again? We are parting at the river of death; shall we meet at the river of life?" With his heart full of those thoughts, he seated himself at his parlor organ and both the words and the music of the famous hymn cam to him."

Dr. Lowry was known for holding tenaciously to the Baptist distinctives. Everywhere he went, the Sunday School flourished and we must recognize that he was a builder. As we examine Dr. Lowry's fruitful life, we discover that "it was his avocation as a hymn writer that has given him an enduring place in church history. Dr. Lowry sadly saw multitudes crossing over the "river of death", but he wrote with assurance these words:
