Gideon
ordered his men to do two things: covering up a torch in an earthen pitcher,
he bade them, at an appointed signal, break the pitcher and let the light
shine, and then sound with the trumpet, crying, “The
sword of the Lord, and of Gideon! the sword of the Lord, and of Gideon!”
This is precisely what all Christians must do. First, you must shine; break
the pitcher which conceals your light; throw aside the bushel which has been
hiding your candle, and shine. Let your light shine before men; let your good
works be such, that when men look upon you, they shall know that you have
been with Jesus. Then there must be the sound, the blowing of the trumpet.
There must be active exertions for the ingathering of sinners by proclaiming
Christ crucified. Take the gospel to them; carry it to their door; put it
in their way; do not allow them to escape it; blow the trumpet right against
their ears. Remember that the true war-cry of the Church is Gideon’s
watchword, “The sword of the Lord, and of Gideon!” God must do it,
it is his own work.
But we are not to be idle; instrumentality is to be used-”The sword
of the Lord, and of Gideon!” If we only cry, “The sword of the Lord!”
we shall be guilty of an idle presumption; and if we shout, “The sword
of Gideon!” alone, we shall manifest idolatrous reliance on an arm of
flesh: we must blend the two in practical harmony, “The sword of the
Lord, and of Gideon!” We can do nothing of ourselves, but we can do everything
by the help of our God; let us, therefore, in his name determine to go out
personally and serve with our flaming torch of holy example, and with our
trumpet tones of earnest declaration and testimony, and God shall be with
us, and Midian shall be put to confusion, and the Lord of hosts shall reign

I. Iraq pro-Saddam
guerillas continued their plan to assassinate Iraq officials cooperating with
American Coalition Forces. Iraqi guerillas
warned several weeks ago that they would begin to target officials cooperating
with American forces; such Iraqi officials were to henceforth be considered
as traitors. This week, two officials were shot, one was killed. Clearly,
the threat was not an idle one, and every official now a part of the new "Interim"
government has to be shaking in his boots. Indeed, Coalition Forces doubled
their protection immediately on the remaining officials of the Iraqi Governing
Council.
Let us consider the two officials shot this week.
NEWS BRIEF: "Iraqi city's police chief slain in
daytime ambush", September 16, 2003, Washington Post.
"FALLUJAH, Iraq - Masked assailants ambushed a
pickup truck carrying the chief of the embattled police force in the nearby
city of Khaldiya on Monday, killing him and wounding two others in a brazen
daylight attack, hospital officials and police said. The death of Col.
Khudheir Mikhlif Ali, 48, was a severe setback to the police force in Khaldiya,
45 miles west of Baghdad, which has become a flash point of opposition to
the U.S. occupation. The killing underscored yet again the challenges facing
the United States as it attempts to build up the Iraqi security forces in
an effort to bring order to the country."
Every government is most dependent upon police chiefs
in each town and city to maintain order and security. To lose a police chief
of a significant city in a bold day-light attack is truly disturbing. Such
a bold assassination will embolden the opposition and strike fear in the hearts
of the Iraqis who were cooperating or who were thinking about cooperating.
Such a tactic was very devastating against the South Vietnamese government
during the Vietnam War.
NEWS BRIEF: "Iraqi leadership member wounded",

"BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Gunmen have shot and wounded
one of three women on Iraq's U.S.-appointed Governing Council, the latest
in a string of attacks on Iraqis cooperating with the country's occupying
powers. The attackers fired on a car carrying Akila al-Hashemi, a Shi'ite
Muslim and career diplomat. She was hit in the abdomen and three of her bodyguards
were also wounded, one of them critically ..."
I remember well the Vietnam War and cannot avoid making
comparisons. As we were getting mired down in the guerilla war in Vietnam's
jungles, American officials decided to form a South Vietnamese Army and Police.
We trained them and equipped them and set them loose to fight and defeat an
enemy we were finding it difficult to vanquish. While they performed well
in many instances, they could not defeat the enemy and finally succumbed.
On many occasions, South Vietnamese officials were murdered, many of them
in daylight. Every murder gave the Communist insurgents fresh hope and similarly
discouraged the South Vietnamese. Such is the case in Iraq.
II. Americans are living today
as "sheeple" who are scared to death! All the phony terror
warnings we have been subjected to since 9/11/2001 have turned average Americans
into such "scardy cats" that they will prove to be "putty"
in the hands of our officials when a real terrorist attack occurs. In NEWS1571
entitled, "Propaganda Principle: Fear of Conflict Is Nearly As
Effective As Actual Conflict In Achieving Desired Change", we
reminded our readers of the maxim enunciated by Adolf Hitler: "Truth
is not what is, truth is what people believe it to be".
After over 2 years of incessant bogus "terror
alerts" , Americans are terrified. Listen:
NEWS BRIEF: "Living in 'apocalyptic fear': Americans
more scared than ever", The Toronto Star, September 11, 2003.
"WASHINGTON—Two years on, the shock has dissipated,
the memory is more distant, but the fear remains. Poll after poll released
on the eve of today's second anniversary of the terrorist strikes on New York
and Washington find Americans more fearful and fatalistic than they were a
year ago ... The apocalyptic fear is definitely here to stay, at least in
the foreseeable future."
A fearful population is a population who can be stampeded by clever officials
operating according to a plan extremely well thought out, as the Illuminati
plan truly is. This poll demonstrates that, when the time comes to initiate
the planned urban terrorist attacks, the American people are ready to be stampeded.
Now that we know the general population is fearful, the time may be at hand
to subject them to the most fearsome dictatorial laws since Josef Stalin.
Our Attorney General was on the attack again last week, trying to drum up
support for these fearful new laws.
III. Attorney General Ashcroft
completes his city tour defending the indefensible -- the Patriot
Act I and the Absolute Dictatorship it portends. Americans do not know enough
to be scared!
Then, Ashcroft goes on the public offense, severely
criticizing the critics of his draconian plans. Listen:
NEWS BRIEF: "Ashcroft Rips Anti-Patriot Act 'Hysteria'",
ABCNews, September 15, 2003.
"Attorney General John Ashcroft denounced as 'hysteria'
the contention by some librarians and civil liberties groups that the FBI
can use a new anti-terror law to snoop into Americans' reading habits. In
a speech Monday to an American Restaurant Association conference, Ashcroft
said people are being wrongly led to believe that libraries have been 'surrounded
by the FBI, with agents dressed in raincoats, dark suits and sunglasses. They
stop everyone and interrogate everyone like Joe Friday."
By casting the objection against the Library Search provision into the Theater
of the Absurd, Ashcroft is convincing the undiscerning that any and all objections
to this provision are ridiculous and are not to be taken seriously.
This article continues:
"A portion of the Patriot Act, passed shortly after the 2001 terror
attacks, gives federal authorities access to library, bookstore and other
business records as part of terrorism investigations."
You have to give Ashcroft credit: he knows the soft spot of the criticism
of Patriot Act I, and it is there he attacks. When he is seen as winning this
argument, he is seen as winning the rhetoric battle for these "anti-terrroism"
laws as a whole. In other words, by picking on a minor issue to attack, Ashcroft
is seeking to permanently deflect all criticism of both Patriot Act I and
the even more dictatorial Patriot Act II.
We had better hope that we can get the American people riled up about the
more dangerous issues of Patriot Act I, for this extension called Patriot
Act II is truly horrendous. As Alex Jones so completely reveals in his new
video, "Police
State 3: Total Enslavement", Americans will be suffering
under dictatorship laws as severe as those of the Russians under Josef Stalin.
For example, government agents can come to your home:
These are the kinds of terrible parts of Patriot Act II that Ashcroft wants
no man to understand. Thus, if the Attorney General can carry out a public
attack on a minor issue of Patriot I and calm people down, he can then proceed
to implement the more dangerous Patriot Act II without severe public scrutiny.
Now you know why he chose this minor Library issue against which to attack.
However, an article last week should have served as a wakeup call to all
concerned, discerning Americans; government agents are already misusing and
abusing some of the "anti-terrorist" laws by using them against
ordinary Americans who are clearly not terrorists. Listen:
NEWS BRIEF: "New Terror Laws Used Vs. Common Criminals", by David

"PHILADELPHIA - In the two years since law enforcement agencies gained
fresh powers to help them track down and punish terrorists, police and prosecutors
have increasingly turned the force of the new laws not on al-Qaida cells but
on people charged with common crimes ... Civil liberties and legal defense
groups are bothered by the string of cases, and say the government soon will
be routinely using harsh anti-terrorism laws against run-of-the-mill lawbreakers.
"
Now, wait a minute, this was not supposed to have happened!! When President
Bush and Attorney General Ashcroft demanded these new laws that trample on
American freedoms and liberties and upon our beloved Constitution, they said
they needed these extraordinary laws so they could combat those nasty, bloodthirsty
Muslim terrorists. We were promised that these laws were necessary to protect
American freedoms; at the time, we were arguing that the truth lies in exactly
the opposite direction, and that, in the name of protecting our freedoms,
the plan is to take them away.
But, you protest, these prosecutions are not aimed at law-abiding Americans,
but at the scum of our society. For the moment you are right; however, when
we allow American criminals to be attacked and prosecuted by bending or a
breaking our Constitutional freedoms, the time will soon arrive when law-abiding
Americans will be attacked by these same inquisitorial techniques.
You see, person(s) are identified as criminal by the laws, and the laws are
established according to the morals and values of the society. In our society,
which has been generally governed by Judeo-Christian values, a criminal is
one who murders, who steals, and who ruins the health of other people by drugs
and other substances. However, the time is coming when laws will be changed
quickly and wholesale, where the old Judeo-Christian values are cast aside,
being replaced by Satanic values. Then, devout Christians who were formerly
considered to be law-abiding will now be considered criminals. Hitler opened
the prison doors shortly after gaining Absolute Dictatorship, because the
criminals inside were not considered criminals any longer; but, the law-abiding
German citizen whom Hitler thought of as his enemy were now the new criminals.
And, Hitler needed the prison space for this new class of "criminal".
Therefore, you cannot relax your vigilance just because the Bush Administration
promises that these new laws are only to combat nasty "terrorists"!
Just a few days after the 9/11 attacks, the Bush Administration redefined
what a terrorist is. His redefinition meant that honest Christians can now
be considered as terrorist.

because they worship differently, or dress differently, or look differently

The Bush Administration has just redefined who is a terrorist and what a
person has to do in order to be classified by the Federal Government as a
terrorist. We report this shocking story in detail in NEWS1553,
and encourage you to read it carefully, for you might have missed this story
in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks.
A few weeks later, we issued another article, NEWS1579,
in which we reported that Bush had adopted the Clinton concept of "Domestic
Terrorist", thus setting ordinary Americans up for arrest and trial as
"terrorists". We urge you to read this insightful article, for you
will realize just how much in danger we are at this moment.
Now, let us go back to this Yahoo article to see that the Bush Administration
intended from the beginning to push beyond even these unprecedented new laws.
You will see the face of an impending dictatorship in this report.
"Within six months of passing the Patriot Act, the Justice Department
was conducting seminars on how to stretch the new wiretapping provisions to
extend them beyond terror cases," said Dan Dodson, a spokesman for the
National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. "They say they want
the Patriot Act to fight terrorism, then, within six months, they are teaching
their people how to use it on ordinary citizens." [Ibid.]
This lying and deliberate misuse of government law enforcement resources
is inexcusable! Did you see that the stated target of this breaking of the
new rules was "ordinary citizens"? Thus, you know in your inner
heart of hearts that the Bush Administration truly is planning to fulfill
the most terrible of Illuminist plans to enslave us; once we have been taken
down, the rest of the free world can easily be taken down!
Within six months of getting these new
dictatorship laws, the Ashcroft Justice Department began educating its investigators
how to stretch their efforts beyond the new laws so they could start using
them against ordinary Americans. YOU are the target, just as we have been
stating all along.
Americans, are you listening? For that matter, all citizens of all nations
who still stage elections are targets as well. Most of these nations have
passed laws similar to our Patriot Act I, so you can bet their investigative
units were also being trained in seminars how to "extend them beyond
terror cases" to ordinary citizens.
But, just when you think the news cannot get any worse, it gets worse!
Now, we discover that Bush/Ashcroft are declaring American citizens as "enemy
combatants"! This unilateral declaration instantly strips the American
citizen of all his rights, privileges, and liberties, plus his right to a
fair public trial represented by legal counsel and a verdict delivered by
a jury of his peers!

"Critics also say the government has gone too far in charging three
U.S. citizens as enemy combatants, a power presidents wield during wartime
that is not part of the Patriot Act. The government can detain such individuals
indefinitely without allowing them access to a lawyer ... 'We've already heard
stories of local police chiefs creating files on people who have protested
the Iraq war ... The government is constantly trying to expand its jurisdictions,
and it needs to be watched very, very closely." [Ibid.]
We close this section by offering this "joke" about Ashcroft and
his dictatorial Patriot Act II. Unfortunately, this "joke" is likely
to come true sooner than you might think.

boy raised his hand. 'My name is Billy, and I have two questions. First, why
are you using the Patriot Act to limit American's civil liberties? Second,

the bell rang, and Ashcroft stated, 'We'll resume after recess.'
"Recess ended and Ashcroft again asked, 'Are there any questions? A
little girl raised her hand. 'My name is Julie, and I have four questions.
First, why are you using the Patriot Act to limit American's civil liberties?
Second, why haven't any weapons of mass destruction been found in Iraq? Third,
why did the recess bell ring ten minutes early?" "Fourth, where's

IV.
American law may soon declare the Bible to be a "Hate Crimes" book!
If you think this statement is too extreme, maybe you just have are not thoroughly
appraised of the situation! Even though we are issuing an in-depth report
on this issue next week, we shall give you the "barebones" version
here.
First, let us see what the Canadians are in the processing of doing:
NEWS BRIEF: "Canadian House passes gay hate-crimes bill", MSNBC,
September 17, 2003.
"OTTAWA — The Canadian House of Commons passed a controversial
bill on Wednesday that would make it a crime to incite hatred against homosexuals.
Parliament's elected chamber approved it by 141-110, overriding concerns voiced
by religious groups that it could put a chill on free speech and could brand
the Bible and Koran as hate literature."
Now, the measure goes to the unelected Senate, where passage is probably
assured. Then, Canada will have passed a "Hate Crimes" bill so stringent
that it will define as a "Hate Crime" anyone who declares that homosexuality
is wrong. One does not even have to take any physical action or threaten a
physical action to be guilty of a "hate crime". Rather, if a person
says or writes that homosexual is wrong, he or she will be guilty of a crime
called "hate". Criminal charges and prison time await the convicted.
Further, and here is the huge controversy, even if a person makes this kind
of statement because of religious conviction, that person is still guilty
of a hate crime! Thus, if a Bible preacher or teacher states that homosexuality
is wrong, based on the authority of God's word, he can be arrested and tried
for "Hate Crimes". If a Christian ministry -- using whatever medium
-- teaches that homosexuality is wrong, that ministry can be legally attacked
under the provisions of this new law.
Now, we get to the sticky part of this subject. When this Canadian law officially
goes into effect, American ministries and pastors will at risk! How can this
be, you ask? In NEWS1836, we alerted to you
the reality that the U.S. Supreme Court based its Sodomy decision upon international
law, not just on the U.S. Constitution!

"As debate continues on the significance of the US Supreme Court's decision
to overturn Texas' law against sodomy, it has gone largely unnoticed that
the majority's decision relied on judicial rulings made in Europe and at the
United Nations. The pivotal role of international law in the Supreme Court
decision seems to confirm the concerns of conservative legal scholars, who
have long warned that laws developed in Europe and at the UN could be imposed
on the US. The majority opinion was guided, specifically, by the pro-homosexual
rulings of the European Court of Human Rights."
Thus, since we know from this Illuminati Card Game that the U.S. Supreme
Court is under the firm control of the globalist Illuminati, we can can only
expect that a trial case will be speedily brought forward so the Court can
rule that anyone who states or writes that homosexuality is wrong will be
guilty of "Hate Crime". As in Canada, even if they take this stance
based upon religious conviction, they will be charged and found guilty. Our
Supreme Court can base their decision on the new Canadian law!
We are truly in danger.
V. "Historically unusual" strong storms
have hit the world in the past few weeks. Hurricane Isabel led
the way last week, delivering an historically unusual blow, even though she
is reported to have weakened just before she hit land.
NEWS BRIEF: "East Coast Begins Huge Isabel Clean-Up; 26 Dead",
Washington Post, September 20, 2003.
"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Authorities airlifted relief supplies as communities
along the U.S. East Coast began a massive clean-up after Hurricane Isabel
on Saturday, but storm victims said it would take months to recover ... Washington,
which closed down for two days in the face of the storm, was also declared
a disaster area ... The Department of Homeland Security said it sent more
than 70 truckloads of emergency supplies to hard-hit areas."
This sentence tells us one of the roles this hurricane is fulfilling: Homeland
Security is once again having an opportunity to test their capability to function
in a disaster role. This kind of testing will come in handy when the planned
disasters begin to unfold. American citizens who are aided by this Homeland
Security effort will come to view this organization in a very positive light.
"The hurricane hit hardest when it made its landfall on North Carolina's
Outer Banks, a barrier island chain that loops out into the Atlantic. 'All
the towns along the coast have lost houses or hotels ... It will be months
before we get back to normal, it will be next summer,' said Renee Cahoon,
a commissioner for coastal Dare County ... National Guards used helicopters
and boats to bring in supplies -- including a mobile kitchen -- to Hatteras
Village on Hatteras Island in the Outer Banks ... The village was isolated
from the rest of the island by a new inlet of more than 400 yards, created
by storm surge from Isabel, that cut the only road to the village. "
Some areas reported unprecedented disaster, while others were reporting the
worst pummeling in 50 years or more. Other communities were reported record
numbers of power outages and others were reporting record flooding. Even though
this storm apparently was not as strong as other storms in the past, it definitely
caused some unprecedented disasters.
As we stated last week, military scientists can control the weather, to the
point of being able to create, dissipate, and steer hurricanes. In Seminar

fact very well, and in our Weather Control section, we demonstrate all the
provable facts that show we have been controlling weather for several decades
now.
If you want to really argue, call the Wall Street Journal for their article,
"Malaysia to Battle Smog With Cyclones".
VI. When mothers about to have an abortion see their
babies laughing and smiling from within the womb, their hearts
are usually so moved they cannot go through with the abortion. And the Abortion
On Demand Industry is furious!

"Images published for the first time yesterday suggesting unborn babies
smile, blink and cry months before they leave the womb have renewed calls
for abortion to be outlawed ... The technology, known as a 3-D/4-D ultrasound,
also reveals limb movements at eight weeks, leaping, turning and jumping at
11 to 12 weeks, intricate finger movements at 15 weeks and yawning at 20 weeks."
Christians and Catholics have long argued vociferously that "fetuses"
are simply unborn human beings. We have also long argued that the beginning
of life logically occurs at the beginning, at conception. Further, once conception
occurs, nothing but a baby ever comes out of that womb, thus negating the
ridiculous pro-abortion arguments that science really does not know exactly
when a "fetus" becomes a human being, and before that time, that
living being within the womb is just "tissue matter".
Now, these new ultrasound pictures show the monstrous lie of abortion in
a very human picture, but it is now too late for over 42,000,000 murdered
American babies. Almost two years ago, when the first ultrasound 4-D cameras
were beginning to be used, Cutting Edge collaborated with a Born Again Christian
practicing obstetrician in Rhode Island to write an expose' on this terrible
practice of murdering helpless, innocent babies within the womb. In NEWS1667,
we not only reported on the scientific aspect of this wonderful technology,
but also demonstrate that abortionists are not interested in the health of
the mother; they are out simply to kill babies within the womb.

uterus a little bit more and allow a live baby to come out. Answer: 'The point

VII. Yassir Arafat was again dominating the news
from the Middle East this week. First, he finally made public his
complete control over the official Palestinian Authority, sweeping away all
naive belief that he had granted this "government" some autonomy.

"The Palestinian prime minister-designate, Ahmed Qurei, has given Palestinian
Chairman Arafat and his Fatah faction considerable say over the composition
of his government. Qurei has said he wants to avoid confrontations with Arafat
that helped bring down his predecessor, Mahmoud Abbas ... Arafat's central
role in forging the new governing team flew in the face of criticism from
Israel and the United States, who charge that he is tainted by terrorism."
As we have stated many times in the past, it makes no sense whatsoever for
President Bush to "aggressively" chase Osama bin Laden and Saddam
Hussein for their terrorist leadership, but tolerate and even protect Yassir
Arafat, an even bloodier tyrant! Arafat is proof positive that events are
occurring because of a plan, not because of individual independent actions
on behalf of officials throughout the region.
On September 11, The Jerusalem Post had called for Arafat's assassination!
The Sharon government repudiated this idea, but began to float the concept
that Israel might deport Arafat. In response, Arafat whined that he might
commit suicide!
NEWS BRIEF: "Arafat Threatens Suicide Over Expulsion", 2003-09-19,
New Zealand Herald.
"Speaking in his partly demolished West Bank headquarters in Ramallah,
Arafat pointed to his machinegun lying on the floor and said he would use
it to kill himself if Israel tried to deport or assassinate him. "I am
a Palestinian soldier ... I will use my gun to defend not only myself but
also defend every Palestinian child, woman and man and to defend the Palestinian
existence," the 74-year-old former guerrilla leader said. "Is there
anyone in Palestine who does not dream of martyrdom?"
Palestinians flocked to Arafat's defense, with some men actually forming
a "human shield" around him.
NEWS BRIEF: "Human shields for Arafat 'the soldier', The Jerusalem Post,
Sept 18, 2003.
"Men loyal to the Palestinian Authority chairman have begun to surround
his office with human shields against an IDF attempt to deport or assassinate
him, security sources said. Male supporters have already pitched tents and
plan to act as human shields; women and children will move into three large
mobile homes just outside Arafat's office."
The United Nations got into the act by passing a resolution severely condemning
Israel for her treatment of Arafat.
NEWS BRIEF: "Israel calls UN resolution on Arafat 'irrelevant', The
Jerusalem Post, Sept 21, 2003.
"Israel dismissed a UN resolution demanding it retract threats to remove
Yasser Arafat, with Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's spokesman Ra'anan Gissin
