---------- Inspiration For the Week------- Miracle of Music – Wonderful Gift of the Holy Spirit After Salvation

Three months after I was saved, I began to play that beat-up, old piano. I had never taken music lessons in my life. Before I was saved, I played "The Ballad of Davy Crockett" with one finger — the extent of my musical abilities. But when Jesus came into my heart, an explosion took place. We never had TV at home. In fact, my father didn't get his first car until 1975. Soda, chips, and ice cream were unheard of in our household. We always had musical instruments, and we always had a piano. From then on, I would sit every day and play the piano. The songs of the Holy Spirit would flow out of me. Three months after that, I replaced my father as church organist. In six months! I never took a music lesson in my life — I knew nothing about it. I only knew that there was an anointing, and the pastor saw it. I was about 16 and the pastor was making me the youth director. One thing about the kids in my church, they came to youth meetings or else! When they didn't show up, they had some answering to do. I was holding youth crusades and rallies for which the kids would bring kids off the street, telling them they needed to hear what the youth leader had to tell them. By the time I reached age 17, the pastor would ask me to replace him during Sunday night service. Also by the age of 17, I had been called to full-time ministry.

I was on my way to Texas when I was 17, but only got as far as New York City when God arrested me and informed me that He wanted me to preach on the streets until further notice …

One thing I recognize is that God never takes the fight out of you, but He shows you what your enemies are doing. He shows you who your enemies are. He shows you not only strategically how to fight, but how to win. He shows you what your enemies are doing. He shows you who your enemies are. He shows you not only strategically how to fight, but how to win. He shows you how to live an abundant and joyous life. I’ll never be bored telling how the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit transformed my life.

The Apostle Peter said in the Bible, “This promise I (of eternal life and the Holy Spirit) is for you and for your children and for as many as would call upon the name of the Lord”. Experiencing salvation is not just for time, but for eternity.

Jesus said, “He stands at your heart’s door, knocking, asking to come in.”

Behold A Pale Horse

I. The tone turned extremely strident this week concerning Avian Bird Flu. For the first time ever, a bird-to-human transfer was reported and we were told that the United Nations' WHO department had set up a "War Room" to handle the "inevitable" global pandemic.

NEWS BRIEF: "WHO's 'war room' prepares for bird flu pandemic", China Daily, 11/18/2005

"Known as the "war room" or the "bunker", it is the world's nerve-centre for tracking deadly diseases from Ebola haemorrhagic fever to bird flu. Each day, officials at the World Health Organisation (WHO) use its sophisticated communications systems to monitor suspected disease outbreaks and contact experts in the field. The screen-filled room will become a global command centre if the H5N1 bird flu virus, which has killed more than 60 people in Asia since 2003, mutates into a form which spreads easily among humans, sparking an influenza pandemic which could kill millions in months.

"This room is the eyes and ears of the global epidemic response. The technology in the room takes us to another level," said Dr. Mike Ryan, WHO's director of epidemic and pandemic alert and response. he Strategic Health Operations Centre (SHOC) is a $5 million state-of-the-art facility in a former cinema at the WHO's Geneva headquarters."

The very fact that the global propaganda effort on Avian Bird Flu is now using the words, "War Room" to describe the escalating nature of this disease should tell you that, perhaps, the world has entered a new, and possibly decisive, phase. Movies and TV shows have long conditioned viewers to understand what a "War Room" is. A "War Room" is the ultimate Command and Control Center of the nation's military and civilian leaders -- all of whom are usually present to quickly make the decisions which need to be made.

Furthermore, movie and TV viewers also understand that a nation does not use a "War Room" unless the situation is very, very grave. Therefore, this article is phrased in such a way as to tell undiscerning people the world over that the situation is very, very dangerous. Has the world reached that kind of "grave" scenario yet? If the next news article is genuine, that kind of grave crisis might be just over the horizon.

NEWS BRIEF: "First Human bird flu cases found in China", The Boston Globe, 11/17/2005

"BEIJING (Reuters) - Bird flu has killed at least one person in China, officials said on Wednesday, confirming the spread of the deadly virus into people in another large Asian country where it might prove hard to contain. One victim in eastern Anhui had died and another in the central province of Hunan was suspected of having been killed by the deadly H5N1 strain of bird flu, China's official Xinhua news agency reported ... The virus remains hard for people to catch and is still essentially a disease in birds. However, experts fear H5N1 could mutate into a form that passes easily among people, just like human influenza, putting millions of lives at risk."

"World Health Organization (WHO) spokesman Roy Wadia said it was no surprise that bird flu had spread to humans in the world's most populous nation ... Asian countries are scrambling to halt the spread of bird flu, with mass cullings of birds and vaccination of poultry. China on Tuesday announced plans to vaccinate billions of birds ... Migratory flocks have carried the virus into birds in eastern Europe and Kuwait and experts believe it will soon reach Africa."

The stage is meticulously being set. For weeks, we have heard that Bird Flu cannot be transmitted to humans unless it mutated. Recently, we have heard shrill warnings that it might be mutating. Then, on Wednesday, we have heard that the first human Bird Flu case has occurred. Now, soon we shall hear that the mutation which allows the Bird Flu to be easily transmitted has, indeed, occurred so that humans can easily and readily get the disease from fowl.

Then, the final straw which shall spread the disease worldwide will occur when the disease has mutated so that it can easily be transmitted human to human.

Given the usage of the scary words, "War Room", above, that human to human scenario may not be far off.

II. Israel agreed to a brokered deal on her international border crossings which many believe will gravely endanger her security. The United States and the European Union reportedly placed great pressure upon Israel to accept this deal, even though it seemingly gives great advantage to Israel's mortal enemies.

NEWS BRIEF: "Rice Secures Rafah Package Stripped of Adequate Counter-Terror Safeguards", DEBKAfile Intelligence, November 15, 2005

"The White House ordered Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to stay over in Jerusalem until the deal for the Gaza Strip’s international crossings was in the bag ... The breakthrough was announced after she met defense minister Shaul Mofaz Tuesday morning. It was achieved after Israel backed down from virtually all its demands for security safeguards against terrorist incursions."

Why should we be surprised that Israel backed down from her "firm demands" at the last possible second? Such occurrences have become quite common during the tenure of "hardliner" Prime Minister Sharon.

Let us now examine some of the pertinent features of this agreement:

"The Rafah crossing from Gaza to Egypt will reopen on November 25 as a Palestinian-Egyptian facility with a European presence. Video images will be transferred to a control center at the Kerem Shalom crossing which is on Israeli soil. It will be manned by Israelis and Palestinians with a European presence. Israel will not be entitled to demand that suspected terrorists be kept out or detained ... As for the crossings from Gaza into Israel, Israel surrendered the prerogative to shut down them down to secure personnel against terror alerts ... Sharon relinquished a key element of Israel’s sovereign right to self-defense and agreed to hamstring its own army’s freedom to combat terror. The presence of Palestinian customs inspectors at Kerem Shalom makes an additional inroad on Israeli sovereignty."

"From Dec. 15 to January 15, “secured Palestinian convoys” will start rolling across southern Israel from the Gaza Strip to the West Bank – trucks for goods and buses for people – unrestricted by Israel. The Palestinians want their own forces to secure the trucks. There is no sign of the Sharon government standing up to Washington’s demands on that point either, so it is more than likely that Palestinian “forces” will be let loose on a wide swathe of southern Israel to escort 150 trucks a day bound for Hebron, Ramallah, Jenin and Nablus. The provisions for the Rafah crossing will also be applied to Gaza’s deep sea port construction of which begins without delay. Israel has therefore forfeited control and oversight over incoming goods and people to Gaza by sea as well as overland."

The width, depth, and height of this betrayal by the Sharon government is staggering! Now, trucks and other vehicles can cross into israel through the Rafah border crossing and through Gaza ports in whatever volume is needed to arm and militarize the Gaza Strip. It really sounds like the Palestinians, Egyptians and all terrorist groups will now be able to send in as many military supplies as the Egyptian generals in charge of the operation feel is necessary to ready the Gaza for all-out war against Israel. From Gaza, prime military targets are within artillery range!

Literally, Prime Minister Sharon has allowed the enemy to come right up to Israel's gates. Yet, Sharon's officials continue to insist that Israel has never known such "Peace and Safety" as she now enjoys. Earlier this year, we read that the IDF expects war no later than 2006. This kind of one-sided agreements accomplishes two things for the enemies of Israel:

1) They can now stage as much military supply as they feel they need to attack Israel;

2) They must now feel that old "War-Horse" Sharon lacks the will to fight when the battle begins.

Last week, we posted an article entitled, "International Control of Jerusalem Just Jolted Forward" -- NEWS2087. We reported that Sharon's sudden agreement to allow European Union control of the border crossings represents a huge step forward toward International control of the religious sites in the old Holy City, Jerusalem. This next article speaks to that EU plan.

NEWS BRIEF: "EU security teams to region taking shape", The Jerusalem Post, November 17, 2005

"An Italian police commander with experience in Albania and Hebron and an Irish police superintendent with experience in Ulster and London will head EU security-related teams dispatched to the Palestinian Authority. EU special Middle East envoy Marc Otte told the Associated Press that Italian police Gen. Pietro Pistolese will head the 50-man EU team that will monitor the Rafah border crossing ... Otte said that the team will be comprised of monitors from Italy, Germany and Great Britain, and that the goal was to have the crossing point open - at least on a partial basis - by November 25."

"An EU technical team has been in the area for a week assessing the team's logistical needs, but Otte said it had still not been determined whether the monitor force will be armed ... Peres, who met Wednesday with visiting Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Moratinos, said EU-BAM 'constitutes an entrance of the EU into the Middle East in a more political sense than ever before'."

Exactly! This revelation is confirmation of our article, above. "International Control of Jerusalem Just Jolted Forward"!

At least one truly conservative news source understood the gravity of the situation.

NEWS BRIEF: "'Israel has forfeited its security': Israel no longer able to act against any breach at international crossings", Jerusalem Newswire, November 18, 2005

"Israeli media analyst Dr. Aaron Lerner says Israel has forfeited any say on its own security by signing on to the “Agreement on Movement and Access” in the face of an international full-court press led by US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice earlier this week. The deal, says Lerner, leaves Israel virtually powerless to act or influence decisions should it detect a security breach at the Gaza-Sinai border or off the coast of Gaza ... Furthermore, Israel has committed itself to establish together with and under the eyes of the Bush administration “an agreed list of obstacles to movement” in Judea and Samaria. Israel regularly uses military roadblocks and checkpoints to disrupt “Palestinian” terrorist efforts to mass murder its Jewish citizens. According to the agreement, it will now have to coordinate such non-lethal preventative security measures with Washington.

"... between Sunday evening and Tuesday morning, Rice managed to reduce what remained of Israel's resolve and extract the security concessions required by the gentile nations for “peace.”

"CBN News Thursday quoted former Israeli ambassador and veteran analyst Yossi Ben-Aharon as saying the agreement looks good on paper, but not in practice.
' It may sound plausible, workable -- I beg to differ', said Ben-Aharon. 'We will really not be able to prevent the importation of people, dangerous people, and arms. That is why I think we have made a mistake, for which we will pay a heavy price'.”

This is a recipe for war -- sometime in 2006. Remember what the Apostle Paul foretold as a sure sign of the End of the Age:

III. America's international reputation took another strong hit this week as The Pentagon was forced to admit that, yes, American forces had used White Phosphorus during her destruction of the Iraqi city of Fallujah -- after the Bush Administration had earlier denied using such forbidden weapons.

NEWS BRIEF: "Incendiary Weapons: The big white lie", The Independent (UK), 18 November 2005

"The Iraqi government is to investigate the United States military's use of white phosphorus shells during the battle of Fallujah - an inquiry that could reveal whether American forces breached a fundamental international weapons treaty ... a team would be dispatched to Fallujah to try to ascertain conclusively whether civilians had been killed or injured by the incendiary weapon. The use of white phosphorus (WP) and other incendiary weapons such as napalm against civilians is prohibited."

At this point, I feel the need to state my disbelief that an Iraqi government investigation team can issue any report other than a "whitewash" of the Battle for Fallujah. Every person in the current Iraqi government is totally, completely, under the thumb of the American military and civilian leadership. However, a whitewash report would satisfy every undiscerning American citizen, making them believe that an "honest investigation" had "proven" that the American military did not commit war crimes.

"The move by the Iraqi government and the growing concern at Westminster follows the Pentagon's confirmation to The Independent earlier this week that WP (White Phosphorus) had been used during the battle of Fallujah last November and the presentation of persuasive evidence that civilians had been among the victims. The fresh controversy over Fallujah, which has raged for a full 12 months, was initially sparked last week by a documentary by the Italian state broadcaster, RAI, which claimed there were numerous civilian casualties. A Pentagon spokesman said yesterday he would 'not be surprised' if WP had been used by US forces elsewhere in Iraq ... The Pentagon says the use of incendiary weapons against military targets is not prohibited."

"But the article two, protocol III of the 1980 UN Convention on Certain Weapons bans their use against civilians. Perhaps of crucial importance to the Iraqi investigators, the treaty also restricts their use against military targets 'inside a concentration of civilians except when such military objective is clearly separated from the concentration of civilians'."

"The battle of Fallujah, an insurgent stronghold, took place over two weeks last November. It led to the displacement of 300,000 people. Reports from refugee camps and from an Iraqi doctor who stayed in the city during the fighting suggest numerous civilians suffered burns and 'melting skin'. Photographs show rows of bodies charred almost beyond recognition."

White Phosphorus burns its victims in exactly that manner. In the immediate aftermath of the Battle For Fallujah, Cutting Edge reported on the reports of these doctors, using mostly foreign sources. Once again, these foreign sources have proven to be much more reliable than the heavily censored American news outlets.

This next article deals with the fact that the British and American leadership tried to dance around the issue, claiming that White Phosphorus was not really a chemical weapon which falls into the category banned by the UN Convention.

"November 9, 2005 on the BBC News website, under the title US 'uses incendiary arms' in Iraq I could still read: Italian state TV, RAI, has broadcast a documentary accusing the US military of using white phosphorus bombs against civilians in the Iraqi city of Fallujah. Rai says this amounts to the illegal use of chemical arms, though the bombs are considered incendiary devices. Eyewitnesses and ex-US soldiers say the weapon was used in built-up areas in the insurgent-held city. The US military denies this, but admits using white phosphorus bombs in Iraq to illuminate battlefields."

Later, of course, the Pentagon admitted that WP had been used and that some collateral civilian damage might have ensued, but maintained the claim that civilians were not deliberately targeted.

"Yesterday I wrote on why the BBC NEWS is wrong when (in its article: 'though the bombs are considered incendiary devices' and with an email to me: 'White Phosphorous is not a chemical weapon') it denies that the white phosphorus is a chemical weapon. According to international law, any chemical used to harm or kill people or animals is considered a chemical weapon. In the words of Peter Kaiser (Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons):

"The US Government had already denied the claims in the past. In Did the U.S. Use 'Illegal' Weapons in Fallujah? Media allegations claim the U.S. used outlawed weapons during combat in Iraq the US Department of State writes:

“Finally, some news accounts have claimed that U.S. forces have used 'outlawed' phosphorus shells in Fallujah. Phosphorus shells are not outlawed. U.S. forces have used them very sparingly in Fallujah, for illumination purposes. They were fired into the air to illuminate enemy positions at night, not at enemy fighters.

"There is a great deal of misinformation feeding on itself about U.S. forces allegedly using "outlawed" weapons in Fallujah. The facts are that U.S. forces are not using any illegal weapons in Fallujah or anywhere else in Iraq.” (Created: 09 Dec 2004 Updated: 27 Jan 2005)

Therefore, the US State Department is trying to parse its words as carefully as did President Clinton during the days of Monica Lewinski, by saying that "Phosphorus shells are not outlawed".

"Obviously nobody would expect the truth about war crimes and mass murders coming from those accused of committing such crimes against humanity."

Yet, BBC News continues to try to believe this American justification. News reports at the time of the battle clearly stated that White Phosphorus was used extensively, and that doctors reported severe chemical burns clearly consistent with WP on the bodies of many civilians. Given the fact that American soldiers considered Iraqi civilians to be less than human and that many reports indicated that Americans were using a variety of weapons against civilians, this White Phosphorus story was very logical.

Now, this Italian documentary breaks the story wide open. If any international organization pursues this matter, the leaders of the United States could be held liable to the International Criminal Court for war crimes.

IV. Former Army General Janis Karpinski published her book on the Abu Ghraib torture and sexual humiliation scandal. alleging again -- and in print -- that the trail of responsibility passes through the Pentagon and up to the White House!

"The former US commander of Abu Ghraib prison says that she was held up unfairly as a scapegoat by 'male warriors' but the real blame for the abuse scandal rests with military leaders and the White House. In her newly released autobiography 'One Woman's Army: The Commanding General of Abu Ghraib Tells Her Story', Janis Karpinski recounts her side of a scandal that led to her demotion and prompted international outrage over the mistreatment of Iraqi detainees at the US military-run prison."

"While accepting her 'share of the responsibility' for some of what occurred when she presided over military police across Iraq, Karpinski says the abuses at Abu Ghraib 'were not the work of a few wayward soldiers and their female leader .... They were the result of conflicting orders and confused standards extending from the military commanders in Iraq all the way to the summit of civilian leadership in Washington', she writes."

From the beginning of this monstrous scandal, Cutting Edge has made this point: the very nature of the US military, with its stringent command-and-control structure, made it very unlikely that this designed scandal was perpetrated by lowly ranking soldiers and rather lowly ranking officers. The very fact that each of the specific acts of torture was designed to offend a specific Muslim sensibility made it obvious that someone very high up in the command structure deliberately designed these torture acts.

Furthermore, once the news was made public that the White House attorney at that time -- Alberto Gonzales -- had written President Bush a memo in which he argued that the United States was not bound by the Geneva Convention because it was fighting an irregular "War On Terror" and because the enemy could be designated "Enemy Combatants" rather than "Prisoners of War" throws the suspicion of origins exactly where General Karpinski is pointing her finger -- at the President.

"While other senior army officers have yet to be prosecuted or demoted, Karpinski said the male-dominated military quickly pinned blame on her after the scandal erupted in 2004. 'When things went wrong at Abu Ghraib prison, nobody stood out as a more convenient target than the female general who looked so out of place from the perspective of all those male warriors', she writes. On the order of President George W. Bush, Karpinski was later demoted from the rank of brigadier general to colonel ... Notorious photographs of US soldiers sexually humiliating Iraqi prisoners shocked the world and damaged the US image, particularly in the Islamic world. Human rights groups have accused Washington of turning a blind eye to similar abuses of detainees in Afghanistan and at the Guantanamo Bay detention camp." (Ibid.)

Indeed, evidence is strong that these specific anti-Muslim torture techniques were first perfected at Guantanamo Bay Prison and then exported to Abu Ghraib and other prisons in Iraq and Afghanistan. As Karpinski has said on several occasions, "Abu Ghraib was 'Git-moized' "!

"According to her book, it was the first time she had heard about possible abuses at Abu Ghraib and the first time she had heard about the internal investigation. Ten days later, she met General Richard Sanchez, then commander of US forces in Iraq, and she remains bitter that she was made a 'sacrificial lamb'. 'Nothing sticks in my craw more than Sanchez's comment during our meeting. 'Do you have any idea what this will do to my Army?'"

"There was nothing subtle about that message. This was his Army. I wrote this book to dispute that claim." (Ibid.)

American forces have been committing this type of torture and sexual abuse against Muslims since shortly after the attacks of 9/11. When the timing is right, most of the 1.4 billion Muslims throughout the world will hate the West, and our "lackey" Israel, so much, they will fight against our superior weaponry, even though they know they have little to no chance of success.

V. During this past horrific hurricane season, climate "experts" continually linked these storms to "Global Warming"; now, a very radical element has been emboldened to step forward to expose the REAL agenda behind these headlines.

Until Bill Clinton became President, I used to take solace in my mistaken belief that radical extremists, like this guy above, did not hold the actual reins of government; therefore, these radical plans stood no chance of ever being enacted. However, once Clinton began to use the powers of his office to implement by Executive order of by the action of a particular government agency the bold plans to "Re-wild America" (NEWS1368), I began to understand that Clinton and his officials shared the most radical of positions with these "extremists". Since the Bush Administration has upheld most of the Clinton imitatives, and since this current President has fulfilled the Illuminati plan in so many different areas, we cannot write off this "Voluntary Human Extinction Movement founder" as a nut case who has no political backing. You can also know that the real danger is that our politicians -- the ones with their fingers on the nuclear button -- are more in line with this plan than you would like to believe.

There you have it: Industrial Civilization is producing disastrous effects that is causing 150,000 deaths and 5 million illnesses every single year! What can be done? Reduce population radically, as the Voluntary Human Extinction Movement founder proposes, and then radically dissolve the Industrial Society. VI. Former President Bill Clinton was declared by Forbes Magazine to be the "most influential man in the world" and the 'president of the world'! Can his ascension to the post of United Nations Secretariat be far away?

The group's concern was that lapses in his leadership during the past two years had eclipsed the accomplishments of his first four-year term in office and were threatening to undermine the two years remaining in his final term."

Who was at this meeting? The list of key Globalists will surprise you:

All of these men are high-ranking insiders of the first degree. This article goes on to list the many failures of the United Nations under Annan's leadership.

Just days before the gathering, Senator Norm Coleman, a Minnesota Republican who is chairman of a subcommittee investigating the oil-for-food program, had brought criticism of the United Nations to a boil by calling for Mr. Annan's resignation. The meeting also occurred at a moment when the United Nations faces major institutional challenges: the Jan. 30 balloting in Iraq that United Nations electoral experts helped set up; the preliminary report late this month of the oil-for-food inquiry led by Paul A. Volcker, the former Federal Reserve chairman.

Is Bill Clinton "waiting in the wings"? Let us now go back to this Esquire Magazine build-up of Bill Clinton.

"Clinton, whose fame has survived revelations of sexual impropriety, perjury and constant reports of other shady occurrences at the Clinton White House which would have killed any other political reputation, continues to wow audiences worldwide. Clinton who was, already in 2003, rumoured to be seeking to lead the United Nations ... has also launched his own global initiative to right the wrongs of the world. Esquire designates him as 'the most powerful agent of change in the world'."

This phrase, "change agent" is a familiar New Age and Illuminist term -- often used by authors and leaders. Let us now go back to this article for one last bit of information.

VII. Apostasy reached new heights this past week, as certain Pentecostal churches received "new revelations" from God which allowed ministers to take sexual partners not their wives, leading one Charismatic magazine to lament that "morality is irrelevant".

Hopefully, you and everyone in the building would run, not walk, out of that church and never come back until the pastor had been replaced. But I am afraid too many of us gullible charismatics might stay in the pews—and eventually give the guy a standing ovation plus a $10,000 love offering.'

"Gullible charismatics" are clearly visible all the way through this video, "Kenneth Hagin and The Spirit of the Serpent", put out by a Pentecostal ministry, Paw Creek Ministries. You will see Kenneth Hagin hissing like a serpent, you will see and hear many Pentecostal pastors and their wives suddenly lose control over their bodies and start to slither on the floor like snakes, all the while hissing just like snakes. You will see Kenneth Copeland crawling on the floor like a serpent.

Radical Pentecostalism has sunk to new lows, as the rest of this article makes quite clear.

Once again, we refer you back to the numerous Paw Creek Ministries videos we carry. Whenever you see someone suddenly become rigid, or suddenly become so heavy no one can move them, or suddenly be filled with uncontrollable laughter, or someone fall back in front of a minister like Benny Hinn, you are not looking at a manifestation of the Holy Spirit, but of Satan.

Former Satanist, Doc Marquis, told me that, after going to a charismatic Sunday service, he stormed out, with his Pentecostal friend right behind him, demanding to know why he was leaving. Doc turned around and said, "Look, I agreed to come to a Christian service; I did not agree to come to a Satanic service dressed up like Christianity".

Radical Pentecostalism has reached this point now. They are guilty of what God lamented so many centuries ago:

VIII. President Bush once more showed his truly dictatorial heart as his supporters pushed for virtual abolition of "Habeas Corpus", the protection against unchecked Executive Branch power.

Our point since 9/11 is that this President is not leading the country in the manner exemplified in the Bible. Had George Bush been a genuine Christian rather than a Skull & Bones Adept, he would have led America "on his knees" in prayer. In fact, President Bush has consistently led America exactly according to the Illuminati Plan in the 9/11 aftermath. This Plan calls for Americans to lose their freedoms, rights, and Constitutional protections, all in the name of "quelling the enemies of the people" ("Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion"). Some news organizations are already beginning to refer to the Bush Administration as the "Torture Presidency".

3.) Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause -- "The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial, ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc. "

Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, and Rush Limbaugh lead the list of "Conservative" personalities identifying and vilifying the "enemies" of the Bush Administration.

4.) Supremacy of the Military -- " Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized."

Since our invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, funding for the military has skyrocketed.

5.) Rampant Sexism -- The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Opposition to abortion is high, as is homophobia and anti-gay legislation and national policy."

In this regard, I find the Bush Administration following this Fascist line publicly, while privately taking the opposite stands. For example, while this President publicly appeals to his Christian, Conservative base by saying he opposes "Gay Marriage", he privately has become a more radical pro-Gay President than Clinton ever was (NEWS1652), and he confesses to supporting "Civil Unions", a code word meaning "Gay Marriage".

6.) Controlled Mass Media -- " Sometimes the media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common."

Just three weeks before the Iraqi invasion, the Pentagon reported that it was going to heavily screen media coverage of the war, prompting us to depend most heavily upon foreign news sources. If anyone still believes the Mass Media truly provides real news is in serious need of a reality check. Propaganda, not news, is the order of each and every day.

7.) Obsession with National Security -- "Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses".

Since 9/11, fears of another terrorist attack has been managed to the highest levels with considerable skill. The terror alerts continuously pouring forth from our government became so obvious, we spent an entire week pouring over our Daily News Updates since the first of October, 2001, to record all the fake "terrorist alerts". We discovered that some terrorist headlines appeared regularly over and over again. 8.) Religion and Government are Intertwined -- " Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government's policies or actions."

9.) Corporate Power is Protected -- "The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite."

No administration in recent history has ever protected and enriched its corporate favorites the way this administration has done.

10.) Labor Power is Suppressed -- "Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed."

Because of early Bush Administration pressure, labor unions have been exceedingly quiet.

11.) Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts -- "Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested." President Bush has consistently attacked the arts and sciences and cut their funding.

12.) Obsession with Crime and Punishment -- " Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations."

Immediately after 9/11, "christian" President Bush and Attorney General Ashcroft demanded -- and received -- dictatorial powers almost identical to anything Hitler and Stalin possessed. The name given these new police powers is "The Patriot Act" I and II.

13.) Rampant Cronyism and Corruption -- " regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability."

Daily News stories are filled with examples of Bush friends and supporters coming under fire for receiving appointments to high-level positions and/or receiving generous government grants.

14. Fraudulent Elections -- "Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media."

In the months following the 2004 Presidential election, our Daily News Updates were inundated with stories of election fraud and manipulation. Poll numbers and exit polls were showing so strongly in favor of John Kerry winning the election, respected pollster Zogby staked his entire 35 years of polling expertise on predicting a Kerry victory. Not surprisingly, actual vote "tabulation" bore no resemblance whatsoever to exit polls.

IX. Events exploded in Iraq this week, demonstrating anew that Coalition Forces are not defeating this insurgency.

NEWS BRIEF: "Bombers kill 74 at two mosques in Iraq", The Detroit News, November 18, 2005

" BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) -- Suicide bombers killed 74 worshippers at two Shiite mosques near the Iranian border Friday, while a pair of car bombs targeting a Baghdad hotel housing Western journalists killed eight Iraqis. The suicide attackers targeted the Sheik Murad mosque and the Khanaqin Grand Mosque in Khanaqin, 90 miles northeast of Baghdad, as dozens of people were attending Friday prayers, police said. The police command said 74 people were killed and 75 wounded in the largely Kurdish town. At sunset, dozens of people were still searching the rubble of the three-story Khanaqin Grand Mosque. As the men dug, 12-year-old Sarkhel Akram collected copies of the Quran, the Muslim holy book, then she kissed them and put them away."

"The suicide attacker walked into the mosque and detonated his explosives in the middle of a group of people, said Ali Abdullah."

Shi'ite civilians continue to be attacked mercilessly by the minority Sunnis, who comprised the backbone of Saddam's armed forces. While Shi'ite clergy leaders are mightily resisting calls within their own ranks, pressure is building for them to declare war against the Sunnis. One editorial feels that such a civil war is both inevitable and good and should commence immediately. NEWS BRIEF: "Slaughter of Sunni foes is inevitable", by James P. Pinkerton, Newsday, November 17, 2005

Many analysis have questioned whether President Bush secretly wants an Iraq to emerge from this war divided, never again to be united. Such a scenario would certainly prevent Iraq from ever threatening the Middle East again. Is civil war part of the Bush hidden agenda for Iraq?

NEWS BRIEF: "Fighting toughest yet in western Iraq offensive: Five Marines killed in Wednesday battles", CNN News, November 17, 2005

"BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- U.S.-led fighting to drive insurgents from the western Iraqi town of Ubaydi has been the toughest so far of the military offensive called Operation Steel Curtain, an American commander said Thursday. Five U.S. Marines and 16 suspected insurgents were killed in battles Wednesday ... In other violence Wednesday, a roadside bomb attack killed a U.S. Marine near the western city of Haditha ... On Thursday, a U.S. soldier was killed and four others injured in a vehicle accident about 125 miles (202 kilometers) north of Baghdad ..."

With this kind of death toll for American soldiers becoming more and more routine, you can appreciate the value of our next story.

NEWS BRIEF: "Police, marines killed in Iraq violence: Violence shows no sign of letting up", ABC News, November 16, 2005

"Three US Marines have died in combat and nine policemen have been killed in rebel attacks in Iraq, as violence shows no signs of letting up."

The key element in this article is the phrase, "violence shows no signs of letting up." Every time you hear a deliberately scripted story telling you how wonderful things are in Iraq and/or how much "progress" is being made, just remember this salient fact: "violence shows no signs of letting up." Once you understand this point -- fully 2 1/2 years after the original invasion -- you will wonder what kind of true effect the following Congressional requirement will have.

"With the US-led war in Iraq increasingly unpopular among Americans, the US Senate is poised to demand that the administration of President George W Bush provide regular reports on progress made in the violence-battered nation. The Senate, in an amendment to a military budget bill, also says 'US military forces should not stay in Iraq any longer than required'. It urges the Bush administration to tell Iraqis to make compromises to achieve a sustainable political deal ..."

A "political deal" is what got American troops out of Vietnam. President Nixon confidently informed the Congress and the American people that the time had arrived when the South Vietnamese armed forces could sustain the country against North Korea. The sudden collapse of Saigon on April 30, 1975 gave the lie to that "Presidential assurance".

X. Another prominent Vietnam War Era journalist drew parallels between this Iraqi War and the Vietnam War fiasco this week.

NEWS BRIEF: "Daniel Ellsberg Warns Iraq Is Similar to Vietnam", AP Breaking News, November 12, 2005

" MAPLEWOOD, N.J. (AP) -- The former Defense Department official who leaked secret documents about the Vietnam War said Saturday that he sees many similarities between that conflict and the one in Iraq. Daniel Ellsberg, 74, became famous for his release of the Pentagon Papers, which indicated the government had deceived the public about whether the war could be won and the extent of casualties."

Ellsberg made the following comparisons between Iraq and Vietnam:

1) "... the Vietnam War and the war in Iraq were both based on lies, referring to the such as the claim that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction." Government lying to get America into a full-scale war in Vietnam started with President Lyndon Johnson's "Gulf of Tonkin" fabrication and continued to President Nixon's lie that he could not invade North Vietnam because he did not want to provoke China to come into the war.

When Nixon was telling this China lie, I was serving in US Army Intelligence in a Pentagon-level facility at Okinawa, operating with a security clearance, "Top Secret, Crypto". With this clearance, I was being informed that China could not project her forces across any international border because her equipment was extremely obsolete. Indeed, almost a year after Saigon fell, the Chinese did invade North Korea. After initially driving some ten miles into North Vietnam, the Chinese forces were humiliated by a North Korean counterattack; Chinese forces were forced back across the border -- American Intelligence was absolutely correct on this most important understanding.

President Nixon, his Cabinet, The Pentagon, and members of Congress knew this key point as well; they knew China was no threat to to "come across the border" should the President have ordered an invasion of North Vietnam as he had promised in his election campaign. Since more Americans died after Nixon became President, an invasion of North Vietnam to end the war would have saved tens of thousands of lives.

Yes, Vietnam was a war based upon lies, very similar to the lies leading up to the invasion of Iraq.

2) Ellsberg praised "government whislteblowers" who have been leaking the truth about the Iraqi War. Of course, Daniel Ellsberg was the man who made the "Mother of All" leaks when he released the Pentagon Papers, a most important point in the public perception of the war. As the information quoted above indicates, these papers demonstrated to the public that they had been lied to about whether the war could be won and about the numbers of casualties the government expected to suffer.

3) Another similarity between Vietnam and Iraq regards civilian casualties. In Vietnam, while the Pentagon daily released badly bloated figures of enemy killed and wounded, they rarely mentioned civilian losses. Likewise, Coalition Forces in Iraq rarely mention civilian casualties; in fact, American generals have arrogantly stated that "we don't count civilian casualties". A respected English Think Tank issued a report one year ago stating that Iraqi civilian casualties had topped 100,000. (Read Cutting Edge Newsletter for November 13, 2004, Paragraph II)

May 30, 1555, the Rev. John Cardmaker, otherwise called Taylor, prebendary of the Church of Wells, and John Warne, upholsterer, of St. John's, Walbrook, suffered together in Smithfield. Mr. Cardmaker, who first was an observant friar before the dissolution of the abbeys, afterward was a married minister, and in King Edward's time appointed to be a reader in St. Paul's; being apprehended in the beginning of Queen Mary's reign, with Dr. Barlow, bishop of Bath, he was brought to London, and put in the Fleet prison, King Edward's laws being yet in force. In Mary's reign, when brought before the bishop of Winchester, the latter offered them the queen's mercy, if they would recant.

Articles having been preferred against Mr. John Warne, he was examined upon them by Bonner, who earnestly exhorted him to recant his opinions, to whom he answered, "I am persuaded that I am in the right opinion, and I see no cause to recant; for all the filthiness and idolatry lies in the Church of Rome."

The bishop then, seeing that all his fair promises and terrible threatenings could not prevail, pronounced the definitive sentence of condemnation, and ordered May 30, 1555, for the execution of John Cardmaker and John Warne, who were brought by the sheriffs to Smithfield. Being come to the stake, the sheriffs called Mr. Cardmaker aside, and talked with him secretly, during which Mr. Warne prayed, was chained to the stake, and had wood and reeds set about him.

The people were greatly afflicted, thinking that Mr. Cardmaker would recant at the burning of Mr. Warne. At length Mr. Cardmaker departed from the sheriffs, and came towards the stake, knelt down, and made a long prayer in silence to himself. He then rose up, put off his clothes to his shirt, and went with a bold courage unto the stake and kissed it; and taking Mr. Warne by the hand, he heartily comforted him, and was bound to the stake, rejoicing. The people seeing this so suddenly done, contrary to their previous expectation, cried out, "God be praised! the Lord strengthen thee, Cardmaker! the Lord Jesus receive thy spirit!"
