I. Newt Gingrich decisively wins the Republican presidential primary in South Carolina on Saturday, capturing 41% of the vote to Romney's 27%.

Romney was always going to have trouble in the Bible Belt, but Gingrich's surge is a mighty surprise.

"A political tornado powered across South Carolina in the Republican presidential primary as former House Speaker Newt Gingrich sucked the momentum from Mitt Romney."

Did also-ran Gingrich really "suck the momentum" from Romney? After placing fourth and fifth in Iowa and New Hampshire while Romney placed second and first, can it really be said that Gingrich "sucked" Romney's momentum with one win? South Carolina lies directly in the Bible Belt, so it is not surprising that Romney had no significant success in persuading Evangelical Christians that Mormonism is just a different brand of Christianity.

But, I was surprised at the Gingrich win -- until I remembered that Newt Gingrich was appealing to the same constitutuency as former President George W. Bush appealed. Even today, three long years after "W" left office, most South Carolinian Christians still believe that George Bush was a Born Again Christian, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

The Newt Gingrich resurgence proves once again that the Mass Media can create and they can destroy. The Media is a powerful instrument to mold and shape public opinion. And, they are totally in the hands of the Illuminati. Remember the bold statement to this effect, uttered over 200 years ago?

The Republican voter in Florida is much more Cosmopolitan than in any other state thus far, because so many of its residents have come from other parts of the country. We expect both Ron Paul and Mitt Romney to fare better than in the states whose primaries came first.

For the record, Cutting Edge supports no candidate for President because we realize the truth that each candidate really is sold out to the New World Order Plan, and once they get in office, they will make no effort to fulfill their campaign promises because they are committed to following the script laid out for them by the global Illuminati. A cursory examination of presidents from Eisenhower to Obama will reveal that their actual performance once in office terribly disappointed their most ardent supporters.

Remember this reality: if the Mass Media allows a candidate access to a public microphone or allows a candidate to sit at the same podium dais as other candidates, that is proof that the candidate has secretly committed to the Plan for the New World Order. You may scoff at first at this maxim, but you will come to realize this truth after watching political performances over time.

II. Key "Core Nations" advanced the goal of Global Government through a global anti-Piracy agreement.

This agreement sounds an awful lot like SOPA, which went down to defeat last week in Congress.

The European Union, Mexico and Switzerland — the only other governments participating in the accord’s creation — did not sign the deal at a ceremony in Japan but 'confirmed their continuing strong support for and preparations to sign the agreement as soon as practical', the parties said in a joint statement."

Does this agreement provide for the seizure of property and other assets of the offending party?

"The deal, more than three years in the making and open for signing until May 2013, exports on participating nations an intellectual-property enforcement regime resembling the one in the United States. Rashmi Rangnath, a staff attorney with Public Knowledge in Washington, D.C., said the deal 'clearly, is an attempt to foist U.S. law on other countries' ... Among other things, the accord demands governments make it unlawful to market devices that circumvent copyright, such as devices that copy encrypted DVDs without authorization ... The accord, which the United States says does not require Congressional approval, also calls on participating nations to maintain extensive seizure and forfeiture laws when it comes to counterfeited goods that are trademarked or copyrighted ... A U.S.-backed footnote removed from the document more than a year ago provided for “the termination” of internet accounts for repeat online infringers."

This worldwide agreement, like so many others signed since the end of World War II, simply creates one more global system, a precursor to the final global system set up by the Masonic Global Elite. Soon, all these global agreements will be melded into one global government. This is the plan and it fulfills prophechy precisely!

III. The world continues to be on fire in the "Non-Integrating Gap" countries, the map of which is seen at the left.

"SANAA, Yemen -- Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh left Yemen Sunday for medical treatment in United States. He was expected to stop in Oman before arriving in New York by Wednesday. Saleh announced his intention to leave Yemen in a speech to government officials, in which he reiterated the transfer of presidential powers to his deputy, Vice President Abdurrab Mansour Hadi."

"Still, Saleh maintained his intention to return to Yemen to head his ruling General People's Congress (GCP) party, indicating he could continue to play a major role in Yemeni political life despite his leaving the presidency."

President Saleh has been "cat and mouse" with his opponents for a year now, promising to leave office one day and then renouncing that promise the next day.

If he leaves the country for medical treatment, his opposition just might have the political edge to force him from power.

"In the birthplace of Syria's 10-month-old revolt, the army leaves no doubt who is now in charge: checkpoints surround the city, posters of the president plaster the walls and security officers patrol ... Syria has been rocked by unrest as government forces struggle to quell protests against President Bashar al-Assad that have fuelled an armed insurgency. The government says it is fighting foreign-backed militants trying to destabilize this strategic country ... More than 5,000 people have died in the crackdown, according to the United Nations. Syria says it has lost 2,000 of its security forces to terrorists."

If President Assad has lost power to his army generals, that is a significant blow to the Establishment Syrian Government. Opposition forces could find new support in their drive to overthrow Assad, and foreign governments could deliver new sanctions, trying to destabilize the government further. We must watch this development carefully, because Syria is so close to Israel that any dying gasp of an Assad government might be impetus enough to launch a missile attack on Israel.

If Israel is hit with a missile attack, the prophesied annihilation of Damascus (Isaiah 17:1) might occur. If that kind of counterattack were to be carried out, the whole region would tremble with calls for all-out war.

"Sudan’s human rights record deteriorated in 2011 with the eruption of new armed conflicts and crackdowns on students, rights advocates and the media, Human Rights Watch said."

These groups are completely under the control of the Illuminati and are used time and time again in country after country in which the Global Elite are planning to overthrow the existing government. In 2001-2002, these groups issued statement after statement against Saddam Hussein, in order to ratchet up foreign support for the invasion which President Bush had planned before the attacks of 9/11. Therefore, Sudan is most definitely targeted for overthrow, even as they battle the newly independent South Sudan.

Sudan must be overthrown so the country can be more easily assimilated into Supernation #8.

"At least 165 people were killed in the northern Nigerian city of Kano in bomb attacks on government buildings, the biggest by the Islamist militant group Boko Haram ... The attack by the group, which seeks sharia rule in Nigeria’s mainly Muslim north, was to avenge the persecution of its members in Ka no, he said ... President Goodluck Jonathan, who declared a state of emergency in parts of four states in the northeast region on Dec. 31 to battle the insurgency, will visit Kano today to inspect the sites of the attacks..."

"The first clarification is the recognition that Somalia was not only a failed state but it has been sliding backwards for the last 20 years and the second clarification is related to the UK’s commitment."

A declaration that a nation is a "failed state" is somber, because that label means that the Western Core Nations have decided to take direct action -- either militarily or diplomatically, or both. Somalia is ripe for government overthrow according to the plan called the "Pentagon's New Map", action designed to move Somalia one day easily into Supernation #8.

"Before he released a video declaring war against Kenya on behalf of Somalia militant group Al-Shabaab, few Kenyans had heard of Sheikh Ahmed Iman Ali. Last week, Al-Shabaab appointed Sheikh Ali as the de facto leader of Kenyan Al-Shabaab fighters in Somalia. Recently, Sheikh Ali called for revenge attacks against Kenya."

"Nairobi, Kenya - The UN refugee agency is concerned about fresh violence in the eastern regions of the Democratic Republic of the Congo that has forced more than 100,000 civilians to flee their homes since November ... Attacks in South Kivu's Shabunda district have displaced some 70,000 people since November. Harassment of the population continues and, according to local sources, some 4,400 civilians are estimated to have fled violent attacks during the past two weeks."

"ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia - Gunmen in Ethiopia's arid north attacked a group of European tourists traveling in one of the world's lowest and hottest regions, killing five, wounding two and kidnapping two ... Three Ethiopians were also taken hostage. Eritrea denied it was involved."
