I. President Obama is heavily pressuring Israel to compromise any way she needs to in order to "achieve" a comprehensive "Peace Treaty" with the Palestinians.

Secretary of State Kerry arrives in the region determined to drive Israel into the arms of the Palestinians.

NEWS BRIEF: "Obama Linking Palestinian 'Peace Talks' and Iran", Israel National News, 11/6/2013

"... the US Administration under President Barack Obama has relayed a series of messages to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, according to which – if Netanyahu makes progress in "peace talks" with the Palestinian Authority (PA) – "it will be easier for the US to support Israel's position" in the negotiations between the western powers and Iran, and to refrain from easing sanctions on Iran in exchange for partial concessions by the Islamic Republic."

In other words, President Obama is seeking to blackmail Israeli PM Netanyahu into making concessions to the Palestinians in return for American support of his militant stance against Iran's nuclear program. I find this concept ludicrous for several reasons:

1) Iran has possessed nuclear warheads since early 2002 - (Read NEWS1660)

2) Since the Israeli PM knows this fact, his militant stance against Iran creating her own nukes is a lie

3) No Israeli Conservative politician can long survive dramatic concessions to the Palestinians so they can create a State which most Israeli citizens view as a deliberate weapon which could destroy Israel

4) PM Netanyahu is bringing back former FM Lieberman, recently acquitted of criminal charges. Lieberman is strongly opposed to a Palestinian State

5) A false assumed linkage is clear: as soon as Iran gets nukes in her military arsenal, she will be a real threat to other nations in the region. We debunk this ridiculous concept in NEWS2120, entitled, "Nuclear Armed Iran vs Nuclear Armed America: Whom Should The World Fear?"

Let us now return to our featured article, to discover that this blackmail from Obama is not new.

"The trade-off – some would say blackmail – was dubbed 'Bushehr-for-Yitzhar' by Israeli pundits when it was first floated during Obama's first term in office. Bushehr is an Iranian nuclear plant, while Yitzhar is a community in Samaria that the Israeli left wing dreams of seeing torn down."

In other words, President Obama has been holding this blackmail attempt over Netanyahu's head for at least four full years!

Consistently, since the mid-1980's, whenever Israel seemed to be on the brink of reaching an agreement with the Palestinians on their own State, Yassir Arafat would do something to torpedo the progress. He would either stage a huge suicide bombing with significant civilian casualties, or he would stomp out of the talks to order a new Intifada. Time and time again, the Palestinians signal to the world that they do not want their own State if that means Israel survives!

Now, as President Obama and his Secretary of State Kerry, ratchet up their efforts to finally achieve a breakthrough on establishing a Palestinian State, the Palestinians dredge up an old libel to enflame their people against Israel.

NEWS BRIEF: "PLO official urges global probe into Arafat 'killing' ", Channel News Asia, 7 November 2013

"A PLO official on Thursday called for an international inquiry into 'the killing' of Palestinian leader Yassir Arafat, a day after Swiss scientists said he probably died from polonium poisoning ... 'The (test) results proved Arafat was poisoned by polonium, and this substance is owned by states, not people, meaning that the crime was committed by a state', said Wasel Abu Yusef of the PLO's executive committee. 'Just as a committee was formed to investigate the killing of (slain Lebanese prime minister) Rafiq Hariri, there must be a international committee to investigate the killing of president Arafat'."

Whether this call for an international investigation ever really occurs, the very allegation will likely so inflame the Palestinian people that negotiations for a Palestinian State are likely to be destroyed. This allegation is not new; within days of Arafat's death, Palestinian radical leaders were alleging that Israel had killed him through poison.

Since I do not believe in coincidence, I think it very likely that Palestinian leaders felt uncomfortable with the sudden progress toward a Palestinian State that would allow Israel to continue its national existence, so they dredged up this old libel, backed this time by Swiss "scientific" tests. One Israeli expert poked fun at the Swiss tests.

NEWS BRIEF: "Expert: Arafat poisoning reports 'completely fabricated' ", YNET News, 11/7/13

"An Israeli expert on radiation believes reports that former Palestinian leader Yassir Arafat was poisoned to death are 'completely fabricated'. Dr. Ehud Ne'eman told Ynet that there would be no traces of Polonium 210 if the poison was injected before 2004. On Wednesday, Professor David Barclay, a British forensic scientist retained by Al Jazeera to interpret the results of Swiss forensic tests, said the findings from Arafat's body confirmed the earlier results from traces of bodily fluids on his underwear, toothbrush and clothing. "

"Arafat's widow Suha said after receiving the test results, 'We are revealing a real crime, a political assassination'."

Yet, even the Swiss report is not conclusive. Notice their own wording on the test results.

"The Swiss scientists' report, posted in full on Al Jazeera's website concluded: 'Taking into account the analytical limitations aforementioned, mostly time lapse since death and the nature and quality of the specimens, the results moderately support the proposition that the death was the consequence of poisoning with polonium-210'." (Emphasis Added)

Therefore, even this Swiss report says that the results only "moderately support" the idea that Arafat was poisoned!

" 'This is more soap opera than science, it is the latest episode in the soap in which Suha opposes Arafat's successors', Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor said. "

We shall have to wait to see how this "Soap Opera" plays out, but it is likely to provoke such a strong condemnation amongst the Palestinian people that this current drive to create a Palestinian State will be stopped in its tracks.

II. The time has come when even innocent, God-fearing Americans should not talk to police!

America is truly in a transition phase, moving from Constitutionally guaranteed rights to a dictatorship.

III. Egyptian generals are preparing to try Muslim Brotherhood former President, Morsi, for murder and treason.

This trial may greatly embarrass and weaken President Obama if it reveals his ardent support for the Brotherhood!

How embarrassed could the United States be from any revelation stemming from this trial?

This damning evidence will likely demonstrate that Morsi collaborated with Al Qaeda, and 'if found guilty of conspiring with foreign entities against the welfare of the Egyptian state, Morsi will be assigned the death penalty and, since he is non-military, sentenced to hang', according to Ramelah."

But who else could the trial uncover as co-conspirators?

" 'Potentially the US administration, the European Union...and others', warned Ramelah. 'With the expected court examination of tape recordings and documents, Morsi’s backers and supporters will be exposed unless back room deals are brokered in ad vance'. Ramelah said one of the suspicions the evidence could confirm is that the Obama Administration gave $8 billion to the Muslim Brotherhood to establish a Hamas presence in Sinai. "

Egyptians have come to the point where they view the Muslim Brotherhood as being a treasonous group, plotting against the legitimate government of Egypt. They could react very negatively against a President of the United States who gave a huge sum of $8 billion to the Muslim Brotherhood so they could build up a Hamas threat in the Sinai against Israel!

Might President Obama be impeached over his actions here? We can only wait to see, but the possibility is definitely there. From the beginning of Barack Obama's campaign in 2008, we warned repeatedly that Americans and Jews had better think long and hard about electing a pro-Muslim president. If Israel was ever threatened with physical extinction as she was in 1973, would President Obama come strongly to her aid, as President Nixon did?

Now that we realize that President Obama provided this huge sum of money to build up a Palestinian terrorist organization dedicated to Israel's destruction, our original warning is as relevant as it was in 2004! Having Barack Obama guarding Israel is very much like allowing a hungry fox to guard the chicken door!
