I. Liberal christian denominations continue to withdraw their support from Israel.

"The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) on Friday became the most prominent religious group in the United States to endorse divestment as a protest against Israeli policies toward Palestinians, voting to sell church stock in three companies whose products Israel uses in the occupied territories."

Once again, I must protest the Biblical ignorance of anyone who uses the term, "Occupied Territories" to refer to that portion of Biblical Israel where the Palestinians are currently residing. God gave the land to Israel about 5,000 years ago "forever" and ever and ever. When Jesus returns, He shall rule the nations of the world from Jerusalem.

Therefore, all Christians need to categorically reject this idea that the Palestinians have any right to this land. This vote by the Presbyterian USA church simply is a reflection of the continued liberalization of genuine Biblical values in a once-great denomination. Why are Christians traditionally such strong supporters of Israel? Some people have theorized that Christians support Israel so strongly because of God's promise in Genesis 12:2-3, where God said:

I agree that this verse is important in understanding why genuine Christians support Israel so strongly, but I do not believe this verse is the primary reason. I believe that the most important reason Christians love Israel so instinctively is that we are filled with the Holy Spirit and this infilling prompts us to love Israel. We recognize Biblical truth that God has not abandoned Israel and, after the final punishment of the 7-Year Tribulation, Jesus will return as the Jewish Messiah, for whom they have long been awaiting, and then God will cause Israel to be the most important nation during the Millennial Reign!

"Israel's prime minister on Sunday criticized the decision by the Presbyterian Church (USA) to divest from US companies that operate in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, saying the vote was misguided and unfair ... While stopping short of accusing the Presbyterians of anti-Semitism, he wondered why Israel had been singled out. 'When the Middle East is fragmented in this horrible war, this savage, savage war between militant Shiites and militant Sunnis ... the only place where you have freedom, tolerance, protection of minorities, protection of gays, protection of Christians and all other faiths is Israel', said Netanyahu."

And so does God. He promises Israel that her enemies will never, ever throw her back out of her land, after God confers End Times prosperity upon her.

God has spoken! The Presbyterians thus find themselves fighting Almighty God. They should tremble in their shoes at what they have done with this vote.

The author of this next article tells us that Palestinians are their own worst enemy when trying to win American support for their cause against Israel.

"While the boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) movement may be a popular cause on America’s college campuses, the movement has little future across the larger United States. Not only is criticizing Israel a political third rail, but sympathy for the Palestinians is a hard sell to Americans ... the biggest obstacle BDS faces in the U.S. is the identity of Israel’s enemies."

"The Middle East’s Muslims receive little sympathy from Americans, both frightened and angered by Islamic terrorism. Palestinians, by targeting civilians in suicide bombings and rocket attacks, have become associated in American eyes with the extremists we have been fighting against since 9/11. When television viewers watch coverage of a funeral for a Palestinian teenager supposedly killed by IDF bullets — with a crush of mourners screaming death to Israel — they see a frightening scene that resembles mass protests by jihadists chanting death to America ..."

We agree wholeheartedly. Palestinian activists and leaders display a visual scene of themselves that is completely ruinous. They appear to be soldiers of Osama bin Laden's personal bodyguard. They seem to be a person's worst nightmare of an enemy of America. On the other hand, Israeli people seem to be "just like us". They are European and American in looks and in their vision of the future.

Then, when you throw in news headlines like these, you can see how Americans really cannot find it in their hearts to support vicious, foreigners chanting death to everyone not Islamic.

This trend began in 1998 under Clinton/Reno, but is reaching alarming heights now.

III. Just as "The Pentagon's New Map" strategy envisioned, war is now spreading from Afghanistan to Iraq to Northern Africa to Syria and now to Central Africa, as the 30-year war to create enough instability to allow Regional Governments #7 and #8 to replace all individual governments continues unabated.
