NEWS BRIEF: "Meeting of Pope and Patriarch may avert WWIII", by Iben Thranhol, Russia Today News, 11 Feb 2016 "The meeting of Pope Francis and Patriarch Kirill in Cuba on February 12 may turn out to be not only the most significant ecclesiastical event, but one of the most momentous political events in recent years." As the world hurtles toward the New World Order, a worldwide religion is absolutely necessary. This planned global religion will require a single global religious leader. The Global Elite understands this reality, which is why they quietly named the Roman Catholic Pope as this new global religious leader (Read full details in NEWS1052). Pope John Paul II began a concerted effort in the mid-1980's to join all world's religions underneath the "large tent" of Roman Catholicism. Each Pope following him has continued his efforts. This plan unmistakably labels the Pope of Rome as the False Prophet of Revelation 13:11-18. When Antichrist arises, the False Prophet will also arise to urge all people to join him in serving the New King! Therefore, it is highly significant that Pope Francis is meeting with the Russian Orthodox Patriarch for the first time in nearly 1,000 years! "Since the schism of 1054 when the church separated into an Eastern and Western part, the differences have been irreconcilable and the two have not engaged in any dialogue ... The church in Russia was oppressed and weakened under the Communist regime, and the Western church has been engaged in a struggle against the tide of secularization ... In recent times both parts of the church have been under pressure, culminating now in persecution of Christians on a massive scale." "This trend is global, but is particularly severe in the Middle East, where ISIS commits horrible atrocities against Christians, as well as monasteries and churches. The persecution even threatens to remove Christianity from the lands whence the faith originated. The persecutions in the Middle East are the immediate cause of the meeting." This meeting now is designed to put pressure upon Islamic groups like ISIS who are murdering Christians at a rate not seen in a thousand years. And, for this cause, we applaud the effort to raise political pressure, followed by military pressure, to stop the slaughter of Christians the world over. However, this Danish journalist also thinks that this meeting may well avert World War III. "... the meeting springs from the need and desire of the churches to form a joint front, or joint ministry to a world disintegrating before our eyes: moral decay, political depravity and dissolution of values. World War III looms like darkness threatening to engulf us all with the rising tension in Syria and Turkey, Western proxy wars and Russia’s intervention. Not to mention the growing tensions between the West and Russia springing from the crisis in Ukraine ... A strong Christian voice and a united church is what world needs now to avert a third world war, at a time when politicians are exposed as bankrupt and impotent in the face of evil." Whatever this meeting will accomplish, preventing World War III is not one of them! How can World War III be prevented, at least before Antichrist arises? Prophecy tells us clearly. "And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast ... For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree (to act in harmony), and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled." (Rev 17:12, 17)
As you can see from this map, the Illuminati is working hard to reorganize all the world's nations into only 10, the precise number which God foretold 2,600 years ago. This prophecy in Revelation 17 means that the leaders of the 10 nations are "acting in harmony" for the express purpose of fulfilling all of God's prophecies. This one understanding should set you free from worry and anxiety when you hear someone say that World War III between Russia and America is close at hand. This scare tactic has kept many a Christian awake at night, ever since the Cold War began in 1946. That scare tactic was false then, and will continue to be false until Antichrist arises! NEWS BRIEF: "Syria: Cessation of Hostilities to Begin in a Week", Voice of America, Feb 12, 2016 "MUNICH— U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said Friday major powers have agreed to seek a cessation of hostilities in Syria to begin in one week’s time. Jan Egeland, the chairman of the the United Nations humanitarian meeting in Germany .... said it 'could be the breakthrough we've been waiting for'." "Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu wrote on Twitter Friday the move is "an important step on the way to finding a solution to the Syrian crisis." Even the Russian Foreign Minister seemed enthusiastic about this "cessation of hostilities ", even as he warned that major powers must refrain from putting more armed forces on the ground before this cessation could begin. The question about what might happen to President Assad of Syria was not mentioned in this news article. American-led forces have insisted that Assad must be removed from office, while Russia has demurred, hinting that they might offer him asylum. When Putin threw Russian military into the Syrian fray, we warned that the real purpose was NOT to give Assad the victory, but was to restrain him so he could not win an outright victory over the rebels. Putin's goal was to set the stage for a negotiated settlement so that Syria would no longer be ruled by a Strongman Dictator. In the two weeks prior to Putin's military action, Assad's military forces had won startling victories over rebel forces who were suddenly in danger of falling apart. You cannot hold negotiations to remove an entrenched dictator if that dictator suddenly wins the war! You can only have negotiations if neither side has won the war. That goal has been achieved, so the major powers have abruptly announced a "cessation of hostilities" that are designed to remove Assad or neutralize his power so he cannot object when Regional Government #7 demands that all nations within the region surrender their national sovereignty. Remember, the Pentagon strategy for all nations within Supernation #7 -- Northern Africa plus the Middle East -- is to overthrow every single entrenched dictator so that, when the time arrives to establish Regional Government #7, no dictator can stand in the way.
