If you have not yet read our article, NEWS1148, "Gross TV and Toys -- Sure Sign of the End of the Age", we encourage you to do so now, so that you will understand the information we are about to share with you.
At Toy Fair, 1998, I discovered that the latest trend to hit our culture is the trend to being obsessed with body odors and fluids. Today's toys, children's books, and TV shows too often feature this type of scatological obsession. [NOTE: I looked up the word, "scatological", and discovered these synonyms: gross, obscene, foul, crude, nasty, coarse, filthy, lewd, profane, indecent, barnyard, and smutty]. If nay of you have ever been at a barnyard, you will know first hand what kind of smells emanate from them; the mixture of manure, urine, and decay combine to produce the kind of offensive smell that makes your nose run, your eyes to ache, and your feet to run away as fast as humanly possible. Yet, this trend is to glorify this type of odor and fluids; in fact, the trend makes this kind of offensive material the subject of jokes and conversation.
In the past year, a cartoon show entitled, "South Park", has emerged as the most offensive, scatological program TV has ever produced, and it is one of the most popular programs on all TV! We have pointed out [NEWS1148] that this type of programming is obsessed with some of the following talk and/or action:
* Human excrement and urine
* Toilet and bathroom scenes
* Bodily fluids
* Nose mucous
* Spitting
* Projectile Vomiting
* Aromatic Flatulence
* Sticky Ear Wax
We Christians are tremendously revolted by such behavior and language, as well we should be. In fact, our revolting against this behavior is so strong as to suggest that the Holy Spirit is the source of our reaction. After all, as we pointed out in NEWS1148, Christians have always viewed the body as a creation of God, a body that is "fearfully and wonderfully made". Therefore, Christian society has always looked down upon anyone who made fun of bodily functions and who made that focus a part of their daily life and conversation. We also pointed out that Biblical prophecy of the End of the Age tells us that people will become very hard hearted, very rude and crude. Therefore, we are not too surprised that this foul trend has become popular with many in our society.
However, when we read an account from former Satanists on this issue, we are presented with a huge shock. There is a type of demon that causes its victims to become obsessed with just this type of scatological behavior!
I am going to be quoting from a book entitled, " Blood On The Doorposts", by William and Sharon Schnoebelen, Chick Publications, 1994, ISBN: 0-937958-43-3, unless otherwise indicated. William and Sharon were deeply involved in Satanists as husband and wife.
Schnoebelen notes the various type of demons and types of demonic possession, infestation, or bondage. He notes that one of the names of a special type demon is called, "Legion". This name should immediately cause anyone who knows their Scriptures to sit up and take notice, for in the Gospels [Mark 5:1-20] Jesus asked a possessed man to identify the name of the demon within him. The demons from within answered, "My name is Legion: for we are many." [Verse 9]. A little later, after Jesus commanded the demons to come out of the man, the Bible records, "And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid." [Mark 5:15]
The way this second reference to "legion" is worded almost makes it sound like it is a particular type of demonic possession, that is, a peculiar possession of more than one demon. Indeed, Bill Schnoebelen states clearly that this is the case. "Legion is a variety of the Unclean Spirit ... because he is not well known or understood, he can cause some problems ... It is Legion's nature to be many different 'genres' of demons rolled into one. In other words, although Legion has some distinctive traits, he can manifest as any other strongman in the Bible! This means he can put out a multitude of different 'faces' to obscure and cloud ..." [Pages 61-61]
In other words, Legion refers to a particularly powerful combination of demons within a person that can cause a variety of different behavioral characteristics. Let us now examine several of the most common types of such characteristics. People who are afflicted with Legion are likely to exhibit the following major types of behaviors:
1) Extremely compulsive in their behavior, very neat, tidy, totally into cleanliness, concerned with logic and precision in every aspect of life, and are perfectionistic. They often suffer from Anorexia or Bulima, tend to write in an uncharacteristic blocky, precise, almost machine-like hand and are excessively fearful of germs, infections ... OR
2) They are obsessed with decay and like to be around the smell of garbage or decayed flesh (i.e., cemeteries). They often feel compelled to perform bathroom duties outside in nature and may even wallow in, or consume, animal or human waste."
"They may manifest both of these extremes at different times, or only one." [Page 62]
In other words, our society is now exhibited the same type of scatological behavior as a person who is afflicted, or in bondage to, or actually possessed by, a powerful combination of demonic host called "Legion"!
At this point, we need to digress just a minute to speak of the way in which God views a nation as a collective body, versus how He views an individual. God's laws apply, first and foremost, to individual attitudes and behaviors. Certainly, every one of God's Ten Commandments apply to individual people. However, a nation is defined as a "group of individuals living at a particular moment in history, sharing a common territory, sharing a common set of cultural values, and usually sharing a common language". Thus, a nation is simply a collection of individuals. This is why the culture and the laws of a nation are built to reflect the values and attitudes of the individuals of which it is comprised. For example, even though God gave the commandment to keep the Sabbath holy, and not to do the same work as they did throughout the week, the Jewish nation instituted laws that supported and reinforced this commandment.
God views the nation as a collection of the individuals of which it is comprised. God views the foundation of a nation to be the spiritual and moral underpinnings of that nation, just as the foundation of a building supports the structure rising above it. The Bible scholars of the New Analytical Bible, [King James Version, published by John A. Dickson Publishing Company, Chicago, 1964] addressed this issue most poignantly. The prophets Amos, Isaiah, and Micah clearly enunciated God's viewpoint of a nation. In God's view, "social and private morality are a necessary outcome of the religion of Jehovah and ... are also essential to the well-being of the state ... There are fundamental moral laws underlying the structure and woven into the very fabric of human society. When they are ignored and violated, disintegration sets in and the [state] structure is sure to collapse." [pages 1034 and 1048]
In other words, God takes note of the predominate moral condition of individuals within any nation, and assigns that moral condition to the nation as a whole. Just as there is an individual within society, so is there a "national individual", in God's thinking. Therefore, the predominate moral condition of individuals within a city, or state, or nation is assigned to the larger body of which they are a part. Thus, God destroyed man, woman, and child of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, even though not every single person within those cities was involved in the sin of homosexuality for which God destroyed those cities. Once the souls of the people were in eternity, God took the innocents [like those children under the age of accountability] and took them to Heaven. But, God assigned the morality of the citizens of Sodom and Gomorrah to the cities themselves. This fact is why we are so concerned that most of the people of America seem to have accepted the lie that what consenting adults do in the privacy of their bedrooms is of no concern to us. This is a lie simply because God will assign the predominate moral values of American citizens to the nation of America!
Therefore, because God views a nation as a body, Satan can afflict the body of a nation, i.e., its culture, in much the same way he can afflict the body of a person. In the case of the demonic affliction, bondage, or outright possession by the type of demonic host called, Legion, we see that one of the characteristics of such a person is that they are obsessed with the smells of decay and body odors. This is the same type of behavior that has become so popular within our culture that TV shows, movies, books, and magazines are catering to it. And, much of this material is aimed right at children, who are the most susceptible to it.
At this point, we need to briefly address the issue of "generational witchcraft". In Exodus 20:5, we see God addressing the issue of generational unrighteousness, and in the next verse, He addressed the issue of generational righteousness. In other words, the values of the parents are predominately passed to their children. In the case of unrighteousness, however, we see that this case can be taken a significant step forward; if either of the parents is involved in witchcraft, then the parent has given Satan permission to at least afflict their children! This makes, generational witchcraft a very serious matter. This is the reason God commanded the Israelites who were taking over their Promised Land to kill every man, woman, and child of the Pagan nations who were living in that land; God wanted to cut off the generational witchcraft of these pagan peoples (nation).
In the case of America today, children of parents who have given themselves up to unrighteousness are especially vulnerable to Satanic influence. Remember, we are heading into the New World Order, the Kingdom of Antichrist, who is prophesied to be an Adept in the art of witchcraft [Daniel 8:25]. Thus, the entire world must be previously conditioned in some form of paganism, but especially America, whose former foundations were Christian values. Thus, we can see that this current obsession with body odors and fluids in our Entertainment Media is one of the characteristics exhibited by someone possessed by the type of demon called Legion.
3) But, there is another major characteristic of Legion. Listen again to Bill and Sharon Schnoebelen. "Legion can cause people to be flagrant in their nudity, exhibitionism, and preoccupation with sex, homosexuality, sex perversions and adultery. Often, if they are attractive enough, adults with Legion end up full-time in the pornography industry." [Page 62]
We have just described an entire awful segment of American society today, have we not?! Our American culture today is obsessed with nudity, exhibitionism, preoccupation with sex, homosexuality, sexual perversions, and adultery. In fact, our Chief Executive is obsessed with sex and has committed adultery on numerous occasions. The very fact that so many individuals are expressing their belief that his activity in such matters should be of no concern to the electorate is proof positive that America is heading down the road paved by the Evil One. God is assigning to our nation as a whole the collective immorality of the individuals of which America is comprised today. The American body may very well be in bondage to the spirit of Legion.
Bill and Sharon Schnoebelen speak significantly about the fact that the entire national effort at Abortion is spearheaded by two very powerful demons. Listen: "We knew, from our own past in Satanism and Witchcraft, that two extremely ancient and powerful principalities reign over abortion. They were Molech, the god of child sacrifice in the Old Testament [see Lev 18:21, 20:2-4, 1 Kings 11:7, 2 Kings 23:10) and Lilith, not mentioned by name in the Bible, but regarded by rabbinical sources as the terror which flies by night. Lilith is actually a corruption of an ancient Sumerian goddess, Lilitu, and she (it?) is believed to be the patron saint of infanticide and what we call today 'Sudden Infant Death Syndrome'. As the Bible tells us, these 'gods' and 'goddesses' which the pagans worship are actually demons (Lev 17:7, Deut 32:17, 2 Chron 11:15, Psalm 106:7). The curses which come onto unsuspecting women from abortions because of these strongmen are both powerful and awful to contemplate. It is a tragedy that the media and contemporary culture have tried to trivialize the crime of child murder and make it 'a woman's right to choose'. " [Pages 108-109]
In many instances, Bill and Sharon have been able to pray deliverance for people who were demonically possessed. In some of these instances, when the demon left the person, the room was filled with the most disgusting odor, the odor of Legion.
In Seminar 1, we spend great time and effort substantiating the fact that, since the mid-1960's, America has systematically removed her former national foundation of Christian principles, substituting Satanic principles. Thus, America is now exhibiting characteristics and values which followers of Satan exhibit. What are these characteristics? Quoting from Anton LaVey's, Satanic Bible:
* Satanism encourages its followers to indulge in their natural desires [page 81[
* Satanism urges indulgence in "greed, pride, envy, anger, gluttony, lust, and sloth". [p. 46]
* "Free love ... means exactly that -- freedom to either be faithful to one person or to indulge your sexual desire with as many others as you feel necessary to satisfy your particular needs". [page 66]. The unspoken corollary to this Satanic principle is that the spouse of the Satanist who has elected to indulge his or her sexual desire with many others is expected to "stand by" his or her spouse. They are not to become upset if their spouse is having sex with other people. And, if both spouses are Satanists, they both will be engaging in such extramarital behavior, and neither will be upset by revelations that they are engaging in such activity!
We are not saying here that a person who exhibits such principles in their life is an actual practicing Satanist, with black robes in a secret coven on a full moon night. What we are saying is that they have allowed themselves to be given up to Satanic principles of acting and believing. Do not be deceived: America, as a nation, is now viewed by God as a nation given over to the Evil One. The many sins of this nation, which cause so much grief to genuine Christians, are entirely consistent with a person [nation] who has given themselves over to the Evil One in terms of their values, attitudes, and practices.
This revelation is another graphic demonstration of the fact that the End of the Age is truly upon us, and that the nation who is leading the charge into the New World Order (America) is changing rapidly to adopt the pagan attitudes and values of Antichrist. Further, this change has occurred with the use of the Six Step Attitudinal Change Plan (See NEWS1055) so that people have no idea they have been manipulated, and they feel as though they arrived at their thinking and values by themselves. This latest obsession with scatological phenomena is just one more proof that America's national foundation is now Satanic, not Christian. Satan is now afflicting the national body with the same demonic bondage with which he afflicts individuals.
Do not be deceived. The End of the Age is upon us. Are you spiritually ready? Is your family? Are you adequately protecting your loved ones? This is the reason for this ministry, to enable you to first understand the peril facing you, and then help you develop strategies to warn and protect your loved ones. Once you have been thoroughly trained, you can also use your knowledge as a means to open the door of discussion with an unsaved person. I have been able to use it many times, and have seen people come to Jesus Christ as a result. These perilous times are also a time when we can reach many souls for Jesus Christ, making an eternal difference.
If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, but have been very lukewarm in your spiritual walk with Him, you need to immediately ask Him for forgiveness and for renewal. He will instantly forgive you, and fill your heart with the joy of the Holy Spirit. Then, you need to begin a daily walk of prayer and personal Bible Study.
If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as Savior, but have come to realize His reality and the approaching End of the Age, and want to accept His FREE Gift of Eternal Life, you can also do so now, in the privacy of your home. Once you accept Him as Savior, you are spiritually Born Again, and are as assured of Heaven as if you were already there.
