NEWS BRIEF: The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) Press Release: "Pattern of Hateful Anti-Arab Remarks Must be Condemned", Washington, DC, October 16.
This press release decries the recent statement made by Franklin Graham. We are alarmed that the American-Arag Anti-Discrimination Committee has chosen to characterize this truthful statement "racist" and "hate". We will print the full statement first, and then discuss it in detail.
"In a yet another disturbing example of the pattern of anti-Arab hate speech that has developed in recent days, Rev. Franklin Graham, vice chairman of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and son of noted evangelist Billy Graham, made a series of extraordinarily racist remarks at a televised revival in Kentucky on Oct. 14. Franklin Graham, who is his father's designated successor as head of one of the largest evangelical associations in the United States, said: 'The Arabs will not be happy until every Jew is dead. They hate the state of Israel. They all hate the Jews. God gave that land to the Jews. The Arabs will never accept that. Why can't they live in peace?' These remarks were broadcast to a huge television audience."
"The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) today called on the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association to repudiate these shockingly racist comments which condemn each and every Arab as a genocidal bigot and suggest that Palestinians have no rights in their own country because 'God gave that land to the Jews.' These comments from a noted American religious figure come in the wake of several hateful and racist anti-Arab remarks in recent days from prominent figures in many sectors of American society."
I could understand the ADC being angry if Franklin Graham had uttered lies in his statement; however, as we shall prove, every sentence Franklin uttered is absolutely TRUE! We shall prove this to be true, in the words of the Palestinians and of Yassir Arafat! Let us now examine every sentence and/or concept from Franklin Graham, comparing them to the words of Arab leaders.
Statement #1 -- "'The Arabs will not be happy until every Jew is dead. They hate the state of Israel. They all hate the Jews."
In The Arab's Own Words:
"O brother believers, the criminals, the terrorists - are the Jews, who have butchered our children, orphaned them, widowed our women and desecrated our holy places and sacred sites. They are the terrorists. They are the ones who must be butchered and killed, as Allah the Almighty said: 'Fight them: Allah will torture them at your hands, and will humiliate them and will help you to overcome them..."
"Have no mercy on the Jews, no matter where they are, in any country. Fight them, wherever you are. Wherever you meet them, kill them. Wherever you are, kill those Jews and those Americans who are like them - and those who stand by them - they are all in one trench, against the Arabs and the Muslims because they established Israel here, in the beating heart of the Arab world, in Palestine." [On 13 October 2000, the official Palestinian Authority television station broadcast live a Friday sermon in the Zayed bin Sultan Aal Nahyan mosque in Gaza]
Certainly, this highly inflammatory rhetoric by a member of Arafat's Palestinian Authority Fatwa Council qualifies as true "hate speech". Allah is said to be ready to "torture them [Jews] at your hands, and will humiliate them". Truly, this is true hatred toward the Jew and the state of Israel. When someone wants to "butcher" another person, this is true hatred. When someone is claiming Allah's instructions and supernatural support in this butchering process, that is true hatred.
"... We will not give up a single grain of soil of Palestine, from Haifa, and Jaffa, and Acre, and Mulabbas [Petah Tikva] and Salamah, and Majdal [Ashkelon], and all the land, and Gaza, and the West Bank..." [Ibid]
This land thus described includes all of Israel. Do not be deceived; the Arabs plan on throwing Israel out of her land and kill them all, as Allah has supposedly commanded.
"Our law is a Jordanian law that we inherited, which applies to both the West Bank and Gaza, and sets the death penalty for those who sell land to Israelis.... We are talking about a few traitors, and we shall implement against them what is written in the law books. It is our right and our obligation to defend our land. [Palestinian Authority Chairman Yassir Arafat, 21 May 1997]
The Arabs hate the Jews so much they kill their own Arab people who dare sell any land to a Jew. This hatred is unmitigated and pure. We have this evidence straight from the lips of Yassir Arafat himself.
"Whoever is found to have sold land to Jews, his punishment is death. It is forbidden to pray for him, it is forbidden to purify his body before burial, and it is forbidden to bury him in a Muslim cemetery." [Ikrama Sabri, Palestinian Authority mufti, Islamic religious leader, for Jerusalem, 20 May 1997] We can see this horrid practice of killing any Muslim who sells any land to a Jew is enunciated by others than just Arafat. Could Adolf Hitler have done any better?
"Despite all the conspiracies, Jerusalem and Palestine from the River to the Sea will remain Islamic until judgment day...." [Ikrama Sabri, Palestinian Authority mufti for Jerusalem, in his weekly sermon at the Temple Mount's Al-Aksa Mosque. Reference is to the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, an area including all of the State of Israel, Voice of Palestine Radio, 9 May 1997]
Do not be deceived; the Arabs plan to annihilate Israel, replacing her with their own country.
"The Zionist entity exists on seized land. The Jews remain enemies because they expropriate lands, build settlements and pay high sums to buy properties. They are the greatest enemies of us Muslims." [Ikrama Sabri, Palestinian Authority mufti for Jerusalem, The New York Times, 18 May 1997]
"We must remember that the main enemy of the Palestinian people, now and forever, is Israel. This is a truth that must never leave our minds." [Palestinian Authority Justice Minister Freih Abu Middein, speaking at Al Azhar University in Gaza, 11 April 1995; The Jerusalem Post, 17 April 1995]. The Palestinians consider Israel to be their "now and forever" enemy? I would say Franklin Graham understood the situation very accurately.
"If the Israelis decide to throw the peace to the sea, we will send them to hell and the explosion this time will be more violent and more destructive. In comparison, the attacks in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Ashkelon will look like banal actions." [Fatah Youth Group, 8 July 1996; Emphasis added]. Obviously, if someone sends another person to hell, they have killed them. The Palestinians plan to send all Israelis to hell -- Almighty God is taking names and preparing Judgment.
"The Israelis are mistaken if they think we do not have an alternative to negotiations. By Allah I swear they are wrong. The Palestinian people are prepared to sacrifice the last boy and the last girl so that the Palestinian flag will be flown over the walls, the churches and the mosques of Jerusalem." [Yassir Arafat, in a speech given on 6 August 1995 at a party to celebrate the birth of his daughter, 6 September 1995; The Jerusalem Post, 7 September 1995]
Isn't this in interesting thing to say at your daughter's birthday party? When you see pictures of children being killed by Israeli gunfire, you may know the Palestinians are using them in this armed struggle just as the Viet Cong used children and the elderly to kill American soldiers in Vietnam.
"The struggle will continue until all of Palestine is liberated." [Yassir Arafat, Voice of Palestine Radio, 11/11/95]. Do not be deceived; when "all" of Palestine is liberated, Israel is wiped off the map.
"Jenin is the first nail in Israel's coffin. We will agree to leave here only the dead Jews who are buried here. Like all Palestinians, I am happy that Arafat is here today in a liberated Palestinian city. With the help of Allah, all the land of Palestine will be liberated. The Jews must return to where they came from, to their diaspora.... Abu Ammar [Yasser Arafat] visited us and spoke with us... Abu Ammar also thinks as I do. In the long run - he will get all of Palestine. He will not give up on one inch of Palestinian land... I don't want to continue living in Gaza or Jenin. My place is in Palestinian Beersheba." [Suleiman Adwan, a PLO policeman and member of the "Al Quds" Brigade, which is stationed in Jenin, Davar Rishon, 20 November 1995]
This is the clearest statement of all concerning the Palestinian plan to completely eradicate Israel from the Holy Land. The Palestinian will not rest until either the last "boy and girl" is sacrificed or until Israel is gone. A quick examination of textbooks created and used by the Palestinian Authority in their classrooms, below, is very instructive in proving that they intend to totally annihilate the existing state of Israel. The Palestinian Authority school books and television use a map of the Middle East in which Israel does not exist. The name of this nation is listed simply as "Palestine". Obviously, for this "map" to become reality is if Israel is annihilated.
MORE HATRED TOWARD THE JEWS IN THE PALESTINIAN CLASSROOM
"Racism: Mankind has suffered from this evil both in ancient as well as in modern times, for, indeed, Satan has, in the eyes of many people, made their evil actions appear beautiful... Such a people are the Jews!" [Islamic Education for Eighth Grade, p. 95] Palestinian propagandists lump the name of Satan in with the Jew, a most insidious propaganda stunt when teaching young, impressionable minds.
"The clearest examples of racist belief and racial discrimination in the world are Nazism and Zionism." [The New History of the Arabs and the World, p. 123] I find it highly insulting to equate Zionism with Nazism, considering the concentrated hatred and genocide Hitler unleashed upon the Jews. As I have stated before, the Bible says repeatedly that the #1 Zionist in all the world is God Almighty, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The Arab has no idea the kind of physical annihilation God is about to unleash against them, "for their treatment of My heritage, Israel". [Joel 3:2b, Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary]
"I learn from this lesson: I believe that the Jews are the enemies of the Prophets and the believers." [Islamic Education, Part Two, for Fourth Grade, #531, p. 67] Teaching impressionable 10-year olds that Jews are the enemies of your religion is inexcusable. The last time I looked at recent history, Israel was attacked in 1948, 1956, 1967, and 1973, by combined Arab armies intent upon her destruction. The case could be made strongly that it is the Arab who are the sworn enemies of the Jew, and not vice versa.
"From the Uhud expedition? a number of lessons can be learned?: Treachery and disloyalty are character traits of the Jews and therefore one should beware of them." [Islamic Education for Ninth Grade, #589, p. 87]. One would expect this racial hatred from Hitler's Nazi textbooks, but not out of the Arab's textbooks.
"In many cases these Jews acted according to their known cunning and deceit, and they fomented wars [between Arab tribes]?" [Islamic Education for Ninth Grade, #589, p. 78]. Adolf Hitler loved to characterize the Jews as "cunning" and "deceitful".
"The Koran stresses that the closest people to the Muslims are the Christians, whereas their greatest enemies are the Jews... 'May Allah protect us from the evil of the Satan - there is no enemy of the believers greater than the Jews and the idolaters... " [Palestinian Authority Television, June 5, 1998] How can any Arab leader or citizen make peace and co-exist with someone they are convinced is Satan? Now, you can see why the Palestinians will never allow real peace to exist; rather, they will get what they can at the "peace" table, then go to war or threaten to go to war, and then return to the "peace" table to get more concessions.
"Israel is mean, brutal, inhuman, fascist, racist, genocidal, cleansing wars! The Jewish gangs waged racial cleansing wars against innocent Palestinians, large scale appalling massacres saving no woman or children." [Palestinian Authority Television, May 14, 1998]
Zionism is "... a cancer in the body of the nation". [Ibid] Everyone knows what a doctor has to do to a cancer; he destroys it totally, so that it no longer has a home in the body of the patient. Such is the Arab belief about the Jew and modern-day Israel. Once again, we warn you that God Almighty, of Abraham and Isaac, and Jacob, is the world's #1 Zionist, and soon, He will roar forward to protect Zion and its nation, Israel, cleansing it and making it holy.
"Know, my son, that Palestine is your country, that its pure soil is drenched with the blood of Martyrs. Why must we fight the Jews and drive them out of our land?" [Our Arabic Language for Fifth Grade, p. 64-66] "There will be a Jihad and our country shall be freed. This is our story with the thieving conquerors. You must know, my boy, that Palestine is your grave responsibility..." [Ibid., p. 69-70]
"My brothers! The oppressors [Israel] have overstepped the boundary. Therefore Jihad and sacrifice are a duty ... are we to let them steal its Arab nature? Draw your sword, let us gather for war with red blood and blazing fire, Death shall call and the sword shall be crazed from much slaughter. Oh Palestine, the youth will redeem your land" [Poem entitled, "Palestine", taught to children of all ages; Emphasis added]. Can you see the hate and desire for genocide being taught these young Palestinian children? The high level of hatred is astonishing, but rest assured God is taking notice and recording names.
"Remember: The final and inevitable result will be the victory of the
Muslims over the Jews."

"This religion will defeat all other religions and it will be disseminated, by Allah's will, through the Muslim Jihad fighters." [Islamic Education for Seventh Grade. p. 125] Now you know why too many children are all too happy to become Jihad Freedom Fighters, even if they are only 7 years-old.
"I came to you with my sword in hand we will oust them [Israel] out to the sea. Your day is coming, conqueror, then we will settle accounts. Our accounts are unending in stones and bullets." [Summer Camp Poem, Palestinian Authority TV, July 2, 1998; Young Girls TV Palestinian Authority, July 7, 1998]
ARAB DETERMINATION TO CONQUER JERUSALEM
"If you look towards the city Jerusalem, you will see the Dome of the Rock with its beautiful golden color, and you will feel you have the responsibility to free the captive Mosque and the mourning Dome from the thieving conquerors." [Our Arabic Language , Part 1, for 4th grade. p. 28]

What did God say about those people in the End Times who sought to conquer Jerusalem? "I will make it My aim to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem". [Zechariah 12:9] Arafat, are you listening?
GOD DID GIVE THAT LAND TO THE JEWS!
Now, let us examine the next true statement by Franklin Graham.
Statement #2 -- "God gave that land to the Jews." Once again, Franklin is entirely correct! We urge you to read NEWS1010 and NEWS2107 for the full details as to how God has promised to return Israel back to her land in the Latter Days. But, for this article, we shall print just a few of the really pertinent exerpts as it relates to the statement by Franklin Graham.
In Romans 11, Paul addresses the concept that God has permanently discarded Israel as His Chosen People. Listen carefully to Paul's words, beginning with verse 1:
"I say then, Hath God cast away His people? God forbid ...God hath not cast away His people which He foreknew..." Even though Israel had sinned greatly and repeatedly, God had not cast them aside as His Chosen People. When we look back at God's covenant with Abraham, we see why God could not cast aside Israel and still be true to His eternal, unchanging Nature. In Genesis 17:7-8, God explains His covenant with Abraham. God promised, "I will establish My covenant between Me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant..." God repeats this commitment to an everlasting covenant in verse 8. God uses "forever" words here: "everlasting covenant". If God had failed to bring Israel back to her land in 1948, as He promised to do, He would not be God and He would not be trustworthy.
"For behold, in those days and at that time, when I shall reverse the captivity and restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem ..." [Joel 3:1] Not only did God accomplish this prophecy on May 14, 1948, He used the firm and active word, "When". On this prophecy, and others, Protestant Fundamental Bible Scholars have firmly held as absolute truth that God would return Israel back to her land at the End of the Age. In fact, these scholars further held that, only when Israel came back to her land could the End of the Age be officially started, and the events accompanying it irreversible.
"And I will bring back the exiles of My people Israel ... they shall no more be torn up out of their land which I gave them, says the Lord your God." [Amos 9:14-15] God promises that He will not allow any enemies to defeat Israel and throw her out of the land after He returns them.
"The covenant which He made with Abraham, and His sworn promise to Isaac, which he confirmed to Jacob as a statue, to Israel as an everlasting covenant, saying, 'Unto you will I give the land of Canaan as your measured portion, possession and inheritance'." [Psalm 105:9-11] Notice word, "everlasting".
"But I had regard, concern,. and compassion for My holy name ... Therefore, say to the house of Israel, 'Thus says the Lord God: I do not do this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for My holy name's sake ... For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all countries and bring you into your own land. Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleanness; and from all your idols will I cleanse you. A new heart will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you, and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes ... and you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you shall be My people and I will be your God." [Ezekiel 37:21-28]
These verses succinctly capture the various stages by which God brings Israel back into her land and prepares her to receive the Messiah, Him "whom they pierced" [Zechariah 12:10b]. Let us review these stages:
1. At His right moment in history, God made the decision to return Israel back to her land so He can fulfill His "everlasting covenant" with Abraham. As He said above, God did not take this action for the sake of the Jews, but because of His concern over His Holy Name.
2. God gathered the Jews from the nations of the world into which He had scattered them. Note something very interesting -- After declaring that He will bring the Jews back into Israel from "all countries", God then ends the sentence there. Then, He starts a new sentence that says, "Then, will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and a new spirit will I put within you ... and I will put My Spirit within you ..." When you take this understanding and marry it to God's prophecy in Ezekiel 37:8d ["... there was no breath or spirit in them"] you will understand that God intended to return the Jews back to their ancient land in a state of unbelief in God or His Messiah, Jesus Christ.
Indeed, this is precisely what occurred, is it not? When the Jews came back to their land in 1947-1948, the majority of them believed in neither the God of Abraham or in Jesus Christ, the Messiah. They were freshly released from the horrors of the Nazi Death Camps, and simply did not believe in God anymore. Gradually, over the years, this atheism has been reduced, until today a great many Jews do believe in the God of Abraham, but this belief has spawned Neo-Phariseeism, an emphasis upon strictly following the legal demands of the Talmudic Law, plus an attitude of persecuting religious enemies.
3. The final stage in the fulfillment of this Ezekiel 37 passage will be played out when the Jews will first embrace Antichrist as their long-awaited Jewish Messiah, only to discover he is a fake, and is out to slaughter them totally. God will allow Antichrist to kill two-thirds of the Jewish population, [Zechariah 13:8] but will protect the one-third remnant Revelation 12:6, 13-16].
Thus, when Jesus Christ returns, He will return to an Israel that is -- at that moment in her history -- 100% Born Again Christian. While the true Christian population in Israel is growing enough to be persecuted by the Orthodox Jew, the massive conversion of Jews to Jesus Christ will occur only when the Gospel is faithfully and forcefully presented over and over again by the 144,000 Jewish evangelists [Revelation 7:3-8] and the two witnesses [Revelation 11:3-12], who will take their positions outside the newly built Third Temple of Antichrist, faithfully proclaiming the Gospel. God will protect these evangelists supernaturally, especially the two witnesses.
This is the true road-map of the events now unfolding in front of us. Be patient, allowing God's prophecies and His time table full play so they can be fulfilled in His timing. Listen to God's sweet, gentle call for just this kind of patience.
"Seek out of the book of the Lord and read; not one of these [details of prophecy] shall fail, none shall want and lack her mate [in fulfillment]. For the mouth [of the Lord] has commanded, and His Spirit has gathered them." [Isaiah 34:16, Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary]
Remember, finally, that you can throw any and all assumptions as to what will or will not occur in these End Times right out of the window. No longer can you disbelieve that something will happen or will not happen based upon Common Sense, History, or supposed National Interest. These are the End Times, when the Spirit of God is prompting some leaders [Revelation 17:17], and the spirit of Satan is prompting most other leaders. The Bible captures this truth so clearly, and so succinctly, of God allowing the spirit of Satan to cause leaders to act at the End of the Age:
"And I saw three loathsome spirits, like frogs, leaping from the mouth of the dragon and from the mouth of the beast, and from the mouth of false prophet, for really they are the spirits of demons that perform signs and wonders, miracles. And they go forth to the rulers and leaders all over the world, to gather them together for war on the great day of God the Almighty." [Revelation 16:13-14]
In the world of Satanism, one particularly virulent and powerful demon manifests himself as a green [like frogs] orb floating through the air. This demon goes into the mouth of the targeted person, causing him to generally go into an out-of-body experience, but always causing him to be possessed so the demonic spirit can control him and his actions. When key leaders of this age need to be possessed to this degree so that God's prophecies will be fulfilled, they will be so possessed, and will take actions that can only be thought of as "insane".
As a matter of fact, this entire period into which the world is inexorably sliding today will be characterized by its "insanity". Events, singly and collectively, are about to break upon the world that will surpass the most vivid imaginations of the vast majority of the world. Are you spiritually ready? Is your family? Are you adequately protecting your loved ones? This is the reason for this ministry, to enable you to first understand the peril facing you, and then help you develop strategies to warn and protect your loved ones. Once you have been thoroughly trained, you can also use your knowledge as a means to open the door of discussion with an unsaved person. I have been able to use it many times, and have seen people come to Jesus Christ as a result. These perilous times are also a time when we can reach many souls for Jesus Christ, making an eternal difference.
If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, but have been very lukewarm in your spiritual walk with Him, you need to immediately ask Him for forgiveness and for renewal. He will instantly forgive you, and fill your heart with the joy of the Holy Spirit. Then, you need to begin a daily walk of prayer and personal Bible Study.
If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as Savior, but have come to realize His reality and the approaching End of the Age, and want to accept His FREE Gift of Eternal Life, you can also do so now, in the privacy of your home. Once you accept Him as Savior, you are spiritually Born Again, and are as assured of Heaven as if you were already there. Then, you can rest assured that the Kingdom of Antichrist will not touch you spiritually.
