YOU ARE NOW ON

THE CUTTING EDGE

World history abounds with examples of one tyrant after another forcing their wills upon that of the people, to gain political power and personal wealth. It is so common of human nature that we now view it as almost a given—sooner or later someone else will add their name to the now infamous list of despots. But we also know that there is another interesting and sad fact of humanity: we seldom pay attention until it is too late. Someone has rightly said that the only thing we learn from history is that we do not learn from history!

Adolph Hitler, during his rise to power, made sure that the youth of Germany were taught the principles necessary for them to be useful members of the "Third Reich." And if we were to say that he was successful in propagandizing them, we would be guilty of gross understatement! He was widely viewed by the people as being the "savior" of Germany and the same country that gave Martin Luther to the world violated every principle of Christianity in following Hitler’s demonic leadership to moral ruin and national destruction. Could it happen again? Certainly, and it is probably much closer than you would dare imagine!

We at "Cutting Edge" are constantly accused of being paranoid because of our editorial stance on world affairs and Biblical prophecy. But as the old joke goes, "You would be paranoid too, if everyone were after you!" Yes, we do plead guilty to seeing demons under many bushes and, without apology, maintain that the Bible warns us of such. It also seems reasonable to us that anyone with an ounce of "horse sense" should be able to discern that things just aren’t going as well today as many seem to believe. But the giddy majority is rolling merrily along, totally oblivious to the unmistakable signs of catastrophe looming just over the horizon. And upon the mirage of the financial picture alone we could have much to say, but that is another story.

What one topic today would you say is uppermost in the minds of parents? Drugs, alcohol, premarital sex, etc.? Certainly all of these topics are important and vie for our attention, but I submit to you public schools and our children’s education is at the top of the list. There is hardly a city in this entire nation that is not presently embroiled in some kind of controversy relative to teacher’s salaries, curriculum problems, test scores, classroom crowding, ad infinitum. And in spite all of the rhetoric, very few seem to recognize that the root of the problem lies in the old premise that "if Johnny hasn’t learned, the teacher hasn’t taught"! Yes, I understand that you teachers have it rough—trying to teach the current crop of delinquents is an impossible task! Classroom discipline is a joke and without it, only the brightest will be able to salvage anything that resembles an education. Plus each state in the union, under our present "system", could devote its entire budget to education and pay the teachers a king’s ransom—and public education would not improve one iota. Why? Because the principles and precepts of John Dewey (the so-called "father of modern education" in this country) are being followed and by design they do not allow teachers to be successful. John Dewey was one of the signers of "Humanist Manifesto #1", circa 1933, that signaled the ultimate doom of our society. The concept of a personal and loving God was deemed by these ultra-liberal intellectuals to be detrimental to society and therefore something to be avoided. Their whole agenda was and is, of course, Illuminist in both its origin and implementation, and—from an educational point of view—designed to "dumb down" the overall populace. Why did they view this policy to be so important? Think about it for a moment. If you were in their shoes and your intent was to eventually subjugate the people of the United States into involuntary servitude and merge them with the other nations of the world, wouldn’t you want a populace that was docile and intellectually incapable of stopping you? Would you not at the same time seek to gain control of the nation’s money supply in order to insure unlimited finances for your cause? And then provide "bread and circuses" (an old Roman term) to serve as the "carrot" for the masses thereby enticing them to satisfy their lust for pleasure and "things" by spending every available hour at work to pay for them? My friends, take a hard look around you and observe how few people today really and truly have to earn their living through arduous physical work. To be sure, some still do—but they are so few in number compared to 50-75 years ago as to be practically nonexistent. The overwhelming majority of people in the industrialized nations today expend far less physical effort to earn their daily bread than did their predecessors. This is a good thing you say? Well, that depends upon how you look at it! Pleasure and recreation is the number one priority of the average guy today—right behind his insatiable desire to have more of it by working himself to death through long hours and stress. Does this describe anyone you know? At least those who did hard manual labor in the past, generally only worked during daylight hours and had to have sufficient rest in order to continue. So if you were plotting a national (and international) take-over, would you want the masses of "cattle" to have enough time or mental capacity to take note of what was really taking place around them? As Ann Landers is fond of saying, "Wake up and smell the coffee!"

Back to the subject at hand, which is our kid’s education. If you happen to be over fifty years old and spent any time at all in school, you are old enough (and hopefully wise enough) to realize that your grandchildren are receiving far less actual education than you did. Most of us "mature" types were educated using the fairly simple concept of the three "R’s"—Readin’, Ritin’, and ‘Rithmetic, taught to the tune of a hickory stick (as per the lyrics of the old song "School Days"). Then a healthy dose of history, geography, civics, and other essentials were thrown in for good measure. Believe it or not, the frequent application of the "hickory stick" also did wonders for classroom discipline! And even though the instruction was not always as thorough as it should have been, it sure beats the dickens out of what is passing for an education now. If you doubt this assertion, just ask one of the kids you know to show you Venezuela on a world map. If they know where it is or can find it in a reasonable amount of time, they are definitely the exception and not the rule. Geography per se is not being taught, therefore widespread ignorance of this once required subject is to be expected. As some subjects are dropped altogether, instruction in others is being implemented in ways that defy reason. A whole generation of our kids was messed up for life by the so-called "new math" of a few years back. They were taught principles that, as we parents were told at the time, were designed to help them master calculus later on—but in the process, they did not even learn how to balance a checkbook! And to underscore the stupidity of the whole affair, a relative minority of kids go on to study calculus and even fewer ever use it. Well, the uproar was so great that after a few years the "powers that be" finally admitted that it was a mistake. I, along with millions of other parents with a little bit of common sense, could have told them that to start with!

But you see, common sense has absolutely nothing to do with it. Every bit of it is done by design.

My nine year-old grand son is a perfect case in point. He is about to enter the fourth grade and is already a casualty of the system. His reading and comprehension skills are outstanding, but mathematics is a real problem—as is often the case with younger children. And due to his psychological make-up, he is easily bored and has a relatively short attention span. All of which is tailor made for a system designed to exacerbate by demanding an incredibly inordinate amount of homework—much more demanding in terms of time needed to perform than most of us older folk experienced in high school! Then couple the excessive homework with a boring school day—the majority of which is actually wasted time—and we have a child that has been turned off to school. Bingo—The desired effect! Another institutionally lobotomized clone to join the rest of the herd.

But, Lord willing, this particular child will not be added to their grim statistics because he has parents that are taking matters into their own hands—like thousands of others across the country are doing—and will home school him. (And as a grand parent, I am thrilled to death).

The Illuminist educational system has been implemented by degrees over a period of many years and has taken place so slowly that even many Christian educators are too close to the problem to be able to see it. Teachers are offended by articles such as this one and feel that they are doing a good job and yet nobody appreciates them—all the while continuing to participate in a system employing techniques expressly designed to turn out a poorly equipped product. It is a no-win situation and will only get worse.

Private schools—most of them Christian and sponsored by churches—along with the home-schooling movement, are doing what they can to stem the tide. But even when we take a close look at private schools, we find that the evil genius behind the scenes has taken this alternative into consideration as well. Nothing is left to chance and provisions were made to thwart many parents as they pulled their children out of the government schools and enrolled them in exclusive private institutions. Just like sharks circling a wounded and bloodied victim, some of these schools have been placed into perfect position to receive their share of the overflow. They offer educational opportunities that far surpass even that which the government schools claim to have—art, music, and many other programs designed for the individual, rather than groups. Parents eager for their children to experience such opportunities, shell out big bucks to enroll them. But in doing this, some have learned the hard way that many of these schools have a hidden agenda as well.

Just within the past few days, we received an email from a parent chiding us for not writing articles exposing schools such as the "Waldorf School" system—a private school which began in Europe and now, in effect, franchises its name and methods world-wide. The lady explained to us that the founder of the school was originally a "Theosophist" and his occult philosophies and methods literally permeate the school. And she was speaking from experience, because her own child had attended one for approximately a year and a half—until she discovered what they were actually teaching. So, based upon her information and the web links she provided, we checked it out and are passing what we found along for your information and warning. Even if the basic educational system of a private school is excellent, the "extra-curricular" philosophies and tenets that go with the deal may be more than you bargained for!

RUDOLPH STEINER, FOUNDER OF WALDORF SCHOOLS

The system known as "Waldorf Schools" was founded by Rudolph Steiner (1861-1925) upon a philosophy that grew out of the spiritualist craze which swept Europe and the United States during the latter part of the 19th century. Mr. Steiner was an Austrian scholar whose expertise was devoted to editing the German dramatist/poet Goethe’s works. He developed an interest in mystic philosophy—one that, over time, acquired a thin coat of "Christian" respectability. This system of belief held to the existence of a spiritual world that was accessible only to pure thought via the highest aspects of human knowledge. He believed that humans, in the dateless past, once possessed the ability to take part in the spirit world, but lost it due to an excessive attachment to the material world. The philosophy he developed to train people to rise above the material and to focus upon the spiritual was called "Anthroposophy"—a "spiritual science."

Steiner also believed and taught that the earth has been populated by humans since the planet was created, but that we began as spirit forms and progressed through various stages until our present form. According to him, we are now living in the "Post-Atlantis Period", which began with the sinking of Atlantis in 7227 B.C. (Atlantis, of course, is the legendary island-continent which supposedly sank into the Atlantic Ocean thousands of years ago.) This Post-Atlantis Period is divided into seven epochs, the current being that of the "European-American Epoch, which is supposed to last unto the year 3573. Then when this milestone is reached, humanity will regain the clairvoyant powers they supposedly had up until the time of the ancient Greeks.

But as unbiblical as these beliefs are, an even greater indicator of his blatant anti-Christian position is found in the fact that Steiner was elected to the leadership of the German Theosophical Society in 1902. This movement, founded in 1873 by Madame Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, was philosophically based on the belief that humanity was moving through a series of stages that would ultimately result in the creation of purely spiritual beings. She believed that the key to advancement was found in "the ancient wisdom" of the early Egyptians and Greeks. This wisdom was held to be "occult" or hidden.

However, Steiner’s views did not completely match those of the Theosophists. It was his belief that the ancient mystics had been forerunners for Christ’s appearance on earth and that Christianity had replaced the Eastern religions. By contrast, the Theosophists believed that Jesus Christ was just one of many teachers in long line of succession and that Christianity was no better than any other religion. This clash of core beliefs eventually led to a rift between Steiner and the Theosophists, when he began to publish articles airing his opposing viewpoint. In 1912 a formal separation took place, with Steiner forming the "Anthroposophical" (literally "knowledge about man") Society, making its headquarters in Dornach, Switzerland. Then in 1919, he was invited to give a series of lectures to the workers at the Waldorf-Astoria cigarette factory in Stuttgart, Germany. At the conclusion of the lectures, the owner of the factory asked him to open a school for the children of the workers—hence the name "Waldorf School." Incidentally, the first Waldorf School in the United States opened in New York City in 1928.

In 1922 Steiner and his followers joined together in forming a religious entity called the "Christian Community," which formulated and offered a liturgy and rituals for Anthroposophists. The movement spread rapidly and by 1925 it was found throughout Europe and had even established a toehold in the U.S. While it did not enjoy the degree of success in America that it had in Europe, a Christian Community was established in 1948. Although the Society and the Christian Community are now formally separate, "The Encyclopedia of American Religions" states that they retain close ties and both "function as a religious body…" Today there are 100 Waldorf Schools in the U.S. and another 115 or so in the process of becoming affiliated. In other countries they are more common and know as "Steiner Schools." It is reported that there are over 600 Waldorf Schools operating today in 32 countries, serving approximately 120,000 students.

Each of these schools, operating on what amounts to a franchise basis, reflect Steiner’s educational theories which hold that children advance through three stages. Supposedly the first stage lasts from birth to age 7 and the spirit inhabiting the body of the child is still adjusting to its surroundings. Because of this belief, the lower grades in Waldorf Schools offer very little of academic content. Reading is not taught until the second or third grade. During the second stage, ages 7 to 14, the belief is that children are driven primarily by their imagination and fantasy, so they are introduced to mythology. After age 14—the third stage—they believe and teach that an astral body is drawn into the physical body, which creates the onset of puberty.

The Schools place a premium upon the arts and all students are taught to knit and play the recorder—a type of flute. (I’m sure the boys really love the knitting part!) Four "seasonal festivals" are observed: Michaelmas, Christmas, Easter, and St. John’s Day. According to their literature, the reason is "to connect humanity to the rhythms of nature and of the cosmos."

This "New Age" type of school preys upon the gullibility of parents in that it proposes to deliver a first-class education within the framework of a Christian organization. Yet, in reality, what the students are being taught is anything but Christian. Parents beware!

Are you spiritually ready? Is your family? Are you adequately protecting your loved ones? This is the reason for this ministry, to enable you to first understand the peril facing you, and then help you develop strategies to warn and protect your loved ones. Once you have been thoroughly trained, you can also use your knowledge as a means to open the door of discussion with an unsaved person. I have been able to use it many times, and have seen people come to Jesus Christ as a result. These perilous times are also a time when we can reach many souls for Jesus Christ, making an eternal difference.

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, but have been very lukewarm in your spiritual walk with Him, you need to immediately ask Him for forgiveness and for renewal. He will instantly forgive you, and fill your heart with the joy of the Holy Spirit. Then, you need to begin a daily walk of prayer and personal Bible Study.

If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as Savior, but have come to realize His reality and the approaching End of the Age, and want to accept His FREE Gift of Eternal Life, you can also do so now, in the privacy of your home. Once you accept Him as Savior, you are spiritually Born Again, and are as assured of Heaven as if you were already there. Then, you can rest assured that the Kingdom of Antichrist will not touch you spiritually.

If you would like to become Born Again, turn to our Salvation Page now.

We hope you have been blessed by this ministry, which seeks to educate and warn people, so that they can see the coming New World Order -- Kingdom of Antichrist -- in their daily news.

Finally, we would love to hear from you.

You can contact us by mail or email.

God bless you.
