To Russian and Syrian military operators, these ballistic missiles flying toward them looked like a real attack was underway. This is how you start a war and blame it on the other side. NEWS BRIEF: "Israel claims joint US missile launch in Mediterranean for 'target practice' ", Russia Today News, August 3, 2013 "Israel says it carried out a 'joint' US missile launch in the Mediterranean, having earlier claimed ignorance. Russian radars detected two ballistic rockets fired in the region on Tuesday, sparking widespread speculation over who was behind the launch. A spokesperson for the Israeli army confirmed that a launch of a missile had been carried out 9:15am local time (06:15 GMT), adding that US forces in the Mediterranean had been given prior warning of the drill. A fighter jet launched the ‘anchor’ missile as part of a drill to test a missile defense system." The US military was quick to deny that her forces had fired any missiles, so it looks for all the world like Israel is trying to start a hot shooting war. Where did these two Israeli missiles land? "... citing a security source inside the Syrian government, RIA Novosti reported that the rockets had fallen into the sea. Meanwhile, Syria’s missile detection system did not pick up any rockets landing on Syrian territory, a security source told Lebanese channel al-Manar TV." President Assad issued a somber warning. "The Middle East is barrel of powder and today the flames are creeping closer. It is not just a question of the Syrian response, but what else might happen after the first [Western] air strike,” Assad told French newspaper Le Figaro." This warning carries a very strong Iraq echo. Prior to the point where President George Bush invaded Iraq in March, 2003, journalist Robert Fisk issued a warning that seems more true today than ever before. Fisk said:
However, proposed legislation would give him precisely that authority! NEWS BRIEF: "No boots on the ground in Syria", WTSP 10 News, August 30, 2013 "Declaring himself 'war-weary' but determined to hold Syria accountable for using banned chemical weapons, President Barack Obama said Friday he was considering a limited response to what U.S. intelligence assessed with 'high confidence' as a Syrian attack that killed more than 1,400 people. Obama ... hinted at a military strike that sources and experts say would entail cruise missiles fired from U.S. naval ships at Syrian command targets -- but not any chemical weapons stockpiles." If chemical weapons stockpiles are destroyed by bombing, huge amounts of the chemical would be released into the air, causing significant civilian deaths. " 'I assure you nobody ends up being more war-weary than me', Obama said, adding that he was not considering any option that would entail 'boots on the ground' or a long-term campaign." While these words seemed to quiet a restless stock market, the reality is far different. The Authorization For The Use of Military Force (AUMF) grants the President great latitude of action, including throwing ground forces into the fray. NEWS BRIEF: "The Administration’s Proposed Syria AUMF Is Very Broad [UPDATE on Ground Troops; "Boots on the Ground" is authorized", LawFare Blog, September 1, 2013 "The administration’s proposed Authorization for the Use of Military Force (AUMF) for Syria provides: The President is authorized to use the Armed Forces of the United States as he determines to be necessary and appropriate in connection with the use of chemical weapons or other weapons of mass destruction in the conflict in Syria in order to: * "(1) prevent or deter the use or proliferation (including the transfer to terrorist groups or other state or non-state actors), within, to or from Syria, of any weapons of mass destruct ion..." Please note that the Obama Administration is dusting off that old lie from President Bush that Weapons of Mass Destruction might be given to terrorist groups. At least Syria's Assad really does have WMD; however, Assad is as opposed to terrorists as was Saddam Hussein. * "(2) protect the United States and its allies and partners against the threat posed by such weapons." "There is much more here than at first meets the eye. The proposed AUMF focuses on Syrian WMD but is otherwise very broad. It authorizes the President to use any element of the U.S. Armed Forces and any method of force. It does not contain specific limits on targets – either in terms of the identity of the targets (e.g. the Syrian government, Syrian rebels, Hezbollah, Iran) or the geography of the targets." Yes, this authorization could be used to attack Iran. Indeed, reports are indicating that Iranian leaders believe this AUMF could be used to direct American forces against Iranian targets. "As the history of the 9/11 AUMF shows, and as prior AUMFs show (think about the Gulf of Tonkin), a President will interpret an AUMF for all it is worth, and then some. The proposed Syrian AUMF is worth a lot, for it would (in sum) permit the President to use military force against any target anywhere in the world (including Iran or Lebanon) as long as the President, in his discretion, determines that the the target has a connection to WMD in the Syrian civil war ..." "The phrase 'The President is authorized to use the Armed Forces of the United States as he determines to be necessary and appropriate' would include authorization for ground troops, should the President decide they were 'necessary and appropriate'.” What is the bottom line here? "Congress needs to be careful about what it authorizes." Since World War II, Congress has regularly written military force authorization is such a broad manner as to allow the President to do whatever he wants to do. We are on dangerous ground here, and everyone should make their voices heard on this issue.
III. President Obama is supporting radical anti-West jihadist forces in his attempt to overthrow Syrian President Assad. These radical forces have already killed and eaten the heart and the liver of a Syrian soldier, but now they have displayed their brutality in a far different manner. NEWS BRIEF: "Al-Qaeda militants kill 24 civilians near Ras al-Ain - Beheaded them all, including a 40-Day-Old Baby", ALAM News, 9/2/2013 "Al-Qaeda linked terrorists in Syria have beheaded all 24 Syrian passengers traveling from Tartus to Ras al-Ain in northeast of Syria, among them a mother and a 40-days old infant. Gunmen from the terrorist Islamic State of Iraq and Levant stopped the bus on the road in Talkalakh and killed everyone before setting the bus on fire. " I find it incredible that Islamic groups could hate each other so vociferously. You do not see this strong tendency in any other religion. The hatred these people feel in their hearts has to come directly from the Abyss. Why did these fanatical jihadists attack this bus of civilians? "... the attack was carried out because the passengers who were from three different villages in Ras al-Ain, supported anti-terrorist Kurdish groups which were formed recently to defend Kurdish population against anti-Syria terrorists ... Syrian Kurdish leader Saleh Muslim warned on Friday that the Kurd minority is facing an ethnic cleansing by al-Qaeda terrorists." Since the United States has been dedicated to a "war on terror" being waged by Islamic extremists since the attacks of 9/11/2001, why are we supporting these fanatics in our war against Syria? The answer is simple, but profound. Overthrowing Syrian dictator Assad has nothing to do with fears that his Weapons Mass Destruction might be given to terrorists. Likewise, Assad's overthrow has nothing to do with his brutality against his own people. No, this effort to overthrow Assad is a direct result of "The Pentagon's New Map Strategy" in the Middle East, especially in "Northern Africa and the Middle East". Syria lies in the planned Supernation #7 in the Club of Rome Plan; she will one day soon be asked to surrender her national sovereignty to the supernation; if dictator Assad is still firmly in power, he would refuse, so the objective of "The Pentagon's New Map Strategy" is to overthrow all dictators, whether secular or religious, so the new government will not resist giving up national sovereignty. This is the REAL news. And, when this Pentagon Plan is finished, Daniel 7:7-8 will have gone a long way toward being fulfilled. Once the Middle East has been thoroughly destabilized, America will be taking this asymmetrical war into the heart of Africa -- Supernation #8. IV. Prominent politicians on both sides of the aisle are lining up to support the President's request for Congressional war authority. America might be going to war after all, led by a Liberal Democrat. NEWS BRIEF: "Boehner: 'I'm Going to Support the President's Call for Action' in Syria", The Weekly Standard, September 3, 2013 "Speaker of the House John Boehner says that he'll support President Obama's 'call for action' in Syria." NEWS BRIEF: "Pelosi Uses Conversation With 5-Year-Old Grandson To Push For Attack On Syria", Real Clear Politics, 9/3/2013 "REP. NANCY PELOSI: I'll tell you this story and then I really do have to go. My five-year-old grandson, as I was leaving San Francisco yesterday, he said to me, Mimi, my name, Mimi, war with Syria, are you yes war with Syria, no, war with Syria. And he's five years old ... It was humanity drew a line decades ago that i think if we ignore, we do so to the peril of many other people who can suffer." Senator John McCain enthusiastically supported Obama's call to war. NEWS BRIEF: "Sen. McCain: Shouting "Allahu Akbar" Like Saying 'Thank God' ", Real Clear Politics, 9/3/2013 "SEN. LINDSEY GRAHAM (R-SC) ... The connection between Syria and Iran, you're blind at a time when history needs for you to have good eyesight. The connection between Syria and Iran is clear as a bell. To disconnect these two would be a huge foreign policy, national security mistake. And I hope the president, above all else, will make that connection." NEWS BRIEF: "Congressional Debate Over Syria Will Be Test Of Divided GOP", Time Swampland, 9/2/2013 "By seeking the approval of Congress to bomb Syria, President Barack Obama may speed forward another conflict: the battle between the warring isolationist and interventionist factions of the Republican Party ... Arizona Sen. John McCain and South Carolina Sen. Lindsay Graham have made clear that their vote on the measure is contingent on Obama committing to potentially broader military action than he has already proposed. “We have to have a plan. It has to be a strategy. It can’t just be, in my view, pinprick cruise missiles,” McCain said on Sunday, in an interview with CBS’ Face the Nation." "On the other side, the isolationist wing sees the coming debate as a great soapbox to establish their power in Congress, and shift American policy overseas. 'I think all of the bad things you can imagine are all more likely if we get involved in the Syrian civil war', said Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, in an interview with NBC’s Meet The Press." Still, many Republicans are hestitant to grant such war authority to this President. NEWS BRIEF: "Aide: GOP Senate Leadership ‘Not Likely’ to Support Military Action in Syria Soon", National Review, 9/3/2013 "Top Senate Republicans aren’t readying to follow the path of their House colleagues and announce support for military action in Syria any time soon. While both Speaker John Boehner and Majority Leader Eric Cantor announced today they backed President Obama’s request for authorization to intervene in Syria, it is unlikely that they will be joined in the near term by their Senate leadership colleagues, such as Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell." "McConnell issued a statement today calling on President Obama to more fully develop his case for intervention in Syria." One Liberal Democrat Senator was even more blunt. NEWS BRIEF: "Harkin on Classified Syria Briefing: 'Frankly Raised More Questions Than It Answered' ", The Weekly Standard, 9/1/2013 "I have just attended a classified Congressional briefing on Syria that quite frankly raised more questions than it answered. I found the evidence presented by Administration officials to be circumstantial ... We should not rush into what may become a new open-ended war without broad international backing or a full understanding of the ramifications'.” I believe that Congress will authorize President Obama to use military force against Syria, simply because overthrowing this entrenched Syrian dictator lies at the core of the "The Pentagon's New Map Strategy". President Assad had the audacity to not fall to the rebels. If he is to be overthrown, a Western military attack may have to occur that will degrade his weapons advantage over the rebels so they can finish overthrowing him. Now, if this attack can only be limited and not explode outward to consume the entire Middle East. There are worrisome signs that any military intervention in Syria will expand outward in an uncontrollable scenario.
V. Saudi Arabia is on full war alert, responding to Putin's threat to attack her if Syria is attacked. NEWS BRIEF: "Saudis Go on Full Alert after Putin Threatens to Hit S. Arab in Reprisal for US Attack on Syria", Fars News Agency, 9/1/2013 "The Main Intelligence Directorate, or the GRU in Russian (for Glavnoye Razvedyvatelnoye Upravleniye) reported that President Putin’s orders this week to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation for a 'massive military strike' against Saudi Arabia in the event that the West attacks Syria has “stunned” the Saudis, forcing them to go on 'full war alert'." "The Arabic Al-Ahd News Service confirmed the Saudis war alert by further stating: “The Saudi Army is on full alert since today due to the increased possibility of a military attack by the US military against Syria. The ground force operations command of the Saudi Army has ordered all the military units in Saudi Arabia to stand at a level 2 alert and fears were bolstered by recent statements by the Russian President Vladimir Putin in terms of a possible military strike against Saudi Arabia by Moscow.” Not for one moment do I believe that Russia would attack Saudi Arabia. To do so would be to cause the instant collapse of a world economy from which Russia is just now reaping massive rewards, after 93 years of Communist / Socialist efforts. Since a Russian attack on Saudi Arabia would be far out of proportion to the limited numbers of missiles being launched against Syrian Army positions, I believe Russia will not attack. Remember, the Illuminati Plan is to create enough economic distress that they can overthrow global Capitalism in favor of Fascism, but not enough stress to cause a global economic collapse. The Great Depression taught the Global Elite a very valuable lesson, i.e., the best way in which to cause the hearts and minds of an entire population to grow cold to Jesus Christ is through the promise of prosperity, not through extreme economic hardship. Still, this story illustrates how quickly and unpredictably events can spiral out of control and inflame an entire region with all-out war.
The IDF is taking this mobilization seriously, as Hezbollah has thousands of missiles capable or wreaking havoc on the Jewish State. NEWS BRIEF: "Hezbollah Mobilizing in Anticipation of US Attack Against Syria ", Israel National News, 9/3/2013 "Lebanon's Hezbollah terrorist group has mobilized its fighters in preparation for a possible attack by US and allied forces on the organization's Syrian allies ... The Lebanese Daily Star quoted the pro-Hezbollah Al-Akhbar news agency as claiming Tuesday that Hezbollah has 'called on all its officers and members to man their positions'." When I was in US Army Intelligence, stationed at Pentagon-level facility on Okinawa, great emphasis was placed "facts on the ground". An analyst might have a concept that seemed so right and so logical, but before any American assets were committed, the Intelligence community had to verify the concept by seeing "facts on the ground". Are there any corroborating facts on the ground which might support this idea that Hezbollah might be preparing to strike Israel? "... residents of the southern Lebanese city of Tyre told AFP reporters that there did appear to be some kind of mobilization going on, noting that many Hezbollah fighters have disappeared from local villages in the last five days, and have turned their phones off in an apparent bid to prevent their movements from being tracked. A similar scenario is playing out in the Bekaa Valley, a Hezbollah stronghold in the east of the country." One report suggested that Hezbollah might attack Israel from Syria, not from Lebanon. This tactic would suggest that any invasion of terrorist groups would be falsely attributed to Syrian Army, and to President Assad. Damascus, the capital of Syria, seems dreadfully close to her appointment with Divine Judgment.
